Outside of false starts from crowd noise, another major advantage is changing/moving players preSnap is no longer an option. It hurt us vs KC this year, especially in the redzones where it gets deafening.

So, reading the board, we lost again. 3-11. Sigh.

Great point OP. There will always be overly negative fans, critiquing is all they know and I guess thats okay. We were 7-6 last year at this time and ended up a play or two away from probably winning it all. If we keep the 1 seed oh boy look out. My only beef is Cam Lewis almost cost us another game with another mental error. I love the kid, his story etc but he can't be trusted anymore. Fool me twice. -
Over Under on Wilkins Package Grabs on Saturday
Da webster guy replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall
The refs know to look for it by now, Im sure our front office has had the league look into it. Wilkins is such a lowlife. Too bad because the guy has talent, he's just a classless dude who cant help himself from cheapshotting. -
Brown - Productive Fairly Recently
Da webster guy replied to MarlinTheMagician's topic in The Stadium Wall
Once in awhile we try a long ball to Gabe but Dorsey's system thrives on the underneath stuff, the holes in the zones etc. Very rarely are we seeing anything but 2 deep safeties, so our bread and butter is 5-15 yarders, and even though they're smaller guys, Brown and Bease have hundreds of catches underneath. Both have great hands and know how to free up and get back to Josh if he is extending the play. Brown has the ability to setup guys with his double move and still has the speed to separate as we saw vs Jets. Pumped for these guys to be back in the saddle. -
Gregory Rousseau is becoming elite

Groot is the man. Showed great work ethic in the offseason, added another 10 lbs of muscle and spent every day in practice watching and talking to Von. He is a complete player now and its coming at the perfect time. -
These Chiefs have NEVER played a playoff game outside of Arrowhead, and have never traveled to Buffalo for a Mahomes Allen battle. I know the 1 seed clinch is a long way down the road, but if we pull it off for once it will be nice to host a pair of home games and then off to the BiG sHoW

Win the next 2 at home and the division is ours!
Da webster guy replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall
yeah fins losing would be nice but we will beat them ourselves to drop them down the standings. The key is Cinci beating KC. we need that 1 seed. -
overpaid. solid TE overall i'd say he would grade out at a B. inconsistent hands but makes some insane grabs. I believe Q Morris is going to emerge as a legit receiving weapon in this offense, but Dorsey doesnt feature TE's like Daboll would. It seems like they are checkdown options for Josh, def not 1st or 2nd reads.

He was trying to see if Mac Jones arm was actually just a prosthetic made with rags.

Well, Edmunds is having a pro bowl season and Klein was practically out of football a few weeks ago but OK

Criticism of McD and coaching has reached insanity level…
Da webster guy replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Head coach has two major jobs, be a leader and be a game coach. McD gets an A for leadership, setting a high standard and holding everyone to it. He's the real deal in that category. As far as game management which includes a ton of things from time outs, reviews, adjustments, technique reminders for players, etc. McD either relies too heavily on his staff or not enough, but the 13 seconds defense was a lack of communication between staff and players that I believe cost us a Lombardi. In the MInny game, Cam Lewis is an undrafted backup FS who is good but STILL should have had multiple coaches look him in the eye before the 4th and 18 prayer and say CAM KNOCK IT DOWN, EVERYONE KNOCK IT DOWN. Here is the 1st down marker, the ball is coming in this 10 yard patch of grass, All Dbacks look at me, knock the ball down! If he does that, if his staff does that under his direction, we win that game and are ahead of Miami and more importantly KC right now. Same with the Hail Murray, you are a coach that keeps preaching fundamentals but you need to communicate and reinforce them in critical situations or it will cost you games and possibly superbowls. He was a good college player at a tiny school, and became a good DC and eventually a head coach but when he is facing Andy Reid or Belichick or even new guys like Vrable, he doesn't have a knack for critical situation control and communication. I am glad he is our coach but hoping a more assertive DC comes in to replace Leslie and then Sean takes the Marv Levy role as leader and overall strategist but not game tactician. These players are pro's but they're also jacked up 20 year olds running on adrenaline and still need game coaching. -
Yeah that dude is nuts. we are one game back, Chiefs have been squeaking out games vs Raiders, Chargers. Bengals will take em down again like they did in Arrowhead last year.
-
He's a baller, been winning us games since the Colts playoff game with his insane sideline catches as a rookie. Bit of an off-season for #13 though. Dropped a game winner in Miami and the final pass of the Jets game bounced off his facemask. If he makes those two grabs we are 9-1. He's our WR2 and Im happy about that. Must be getting better separation than Shakir because Josh barely looks at #10 these days.

James Cook with 4x the yards Chubb had. Now thats f*ckin beautiful man.
-
Yeah and Peyton completed just a dozen passes with no TD's and a pick for a total of 141 yards. Man he was ready to retire, some guys just hit a wall. We saw it happen with Rivers vs the Bills in the playoff game, his last career game and he just had nothing left on his throws. Rogers and Russ are still trying, Matt Ryan, even Stafford seems lost. These poor old QB's keep looking at Brady and thinking they can just keep going and it's weird how all the experience and knowledge in the world can't save you once you lose the juice.

Mangini, Weiss, Crennel, Patricia, McDaniels all took advantage of the fact that they were on the Tom Brady winning train and owners around the league felt like Belichick must have had some magic that rubbed off on his staff. All these guys turned out to be failed head coaches because there is no magic in NE, it was one guy who took it all with him when he left for Tampa.

Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills
Da webster guy replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
Doesnt even have to be an offensive minded HC, just a good game coach with a grasp of time management, how to communicate with your players between plays, manage down and distances properly etc. Sean is a great leader and person, which makes it tempting to overlook his lack of technical competence. But we get outcoached just about every week, win or lose, and especially vs guys like Andy Reid its not even a fair fight for poor Sean. The only way he could maybe stay is a new take-charge DC that runs the entire game, timeouts included on his side of the ball, and delegate the same thing to the OC staff on their side of the ball. It worked for Marv. -
Once again McD's decision to go for it on 4th and 2 instead of kick and extend our lead comes back to cost us the game, as it very nearly did in KC. The other thing that is on McD/Frasier is lack of game coaching their dbacks, most notably Cam Lewis on the 4th and very long completion to Jefferson. "Guys, its 4th down DO NOT CATCH THE BALL and try to get an INT. Swat it down, hit it as hard as you can but in a contested catch situation trying to catch the ball can result in giving up a catch. Duh" Hyde made that mistake once, and today it was Cam Lewis. He could have easily spiked that football instead of trying to outcatch Jefferson. Game would have been over. This is high school stuff. Seriously. Like holding the receivers in the 13 second game. Basic. Yet our guys don't seem to know it and they're not being reminded either. How can this be?

A guy on WGR said it pretty well this morning

13-3 will get us everything we need. we drop one more game along the way no problem. Bengals MNF last game of the year, hopefully we dont need it, would be nice to have a rest week there and a bye week for playoffs -
