  1. Lets face it, he has way too much of a hockey name to be covering football.
  2. I say we go NO facemasks vs Pitt as a salute to the tough old timers and show those chumps who the Real Renegades are. In all seriousness, here's a cool fact on that topic The first facemask was worn by Otto Graham of the Cleveland Browns, who got elbowed in the mouth during the first half of a 1953 game and then played the second half wearing a piece of plastic that coach Paul Brown taped to his helmet. Ah those were the days, who needs an equipment manager when your coach has a roll of tape in his pocket?
  3. Thats great, but he just dropped two passes in live action. That's a flag to me. Could be an anomaly, and every receiver drops passes, but two in one game is concerning. And they arent Josh bullets either.
  4. Agreed. Brieda seems like one of those guys who is high character, well liked, and fast but never seems to standout these days. Not diving for the pylon and the touchdown there vs Chicago was not cool either. Get the TD man, even if it means that linebacker is gonna cream you. The whole concept of a "home run hitter" running back is kind of silly if you ask me. The two teams that went to the bowl last year didn't have one, and I can't think of one outside of Derrick Henry in all the playoffs last year. We scored the 2nd most points per game in the league, I think we can do just fine with Motor and Zach running the rock.
  5. That's right I remember that now. Roberts did get a bunch of offers too. Still surprised the Jets let him go, and now we were crazy enough to do the same thing. All Pro kick returner in his prime. Anyway, I don't see where it makes sense to just cut 99 here. He's playing well and is in good shape otherwise, give the kid one more chance here with IR and lets see if he can turn it around. Feel so awful for the guy he has worked so hard and now this. I'm assuming the knee brace he was wearing during the game probably saved him from being done for the year. They say those surgically repaired knees can be 100% if rehabbed properly. If Willis Mcgahee can come back from his disasterous knee injury, Harry can get past this setback.
  6. league has been enforcing those calls for years now. Efe got pushed into the qb but still needs to learn how to avoid the low contact. Lions qb was lucky, could have been his season right there.
  7. hart wasnt even playing against starters either. the poor guy looked lost, some plays wld hold his own and then others he just lost his technique and was wiffing horribly.
  8. or a niece, nephew, friend etc. its easy. the bad part of having the ticket is you have to watch other qb's that aren't Josh Allen and its kind of a letdown.
  9. Baseball guaranteed too which is amazing to me. Although NFL contracts aren't, there sure is an increasing amount of eye opening guarantees in recent years. Gurley deal was surprising and Zeke had over 50M guaranteed if I remember correctly. A running back, 50M no matter what happens to you. Unreal.
  10. red endzones and red helmets are my fave. bring em both back damn you Terry you know ya wanna do it !
  11. One Zimmer punch out fumble away from losing to those dudes last year. We looked better the second time we played them but they'll win some games this year, which is what we want. Win 5-8 games and stay in QB purgatory forever.
  12. I'd agree thats usually true, but look at Biscuit when he came in the league and his body in year 3, same with Moulds, Bruce etc. The one narrative that I think is B.S. is that AJ miraculously lost more weight than he was supposed to. Like he woke up one day and was 15lbs light. These guys have specific nutrition programs and are weighed and tracked very carefully on a daily basis. If he was less than his target weight it's simply because he couldn't keep the weight on despite his and the trainers best efforts. I'm not saying he pulled a Maybin, juiced in college and misrepresented himself, but I'm guessing A.J. will maybe add 5 more pounds max to where he is now. It's just a matter of learning how to get production vs these NFL Olinemen, they're pretty amazing athletes. His game is quickness and burst now, different than college.
  13. Great punt return by Tre. My favorite Bills punt return of all time is the one at 4:30 by Roscoe. He was so freaking quick.
  14. Dane Jackson. Dude is a stud, continues to stand out in practice, already better than Levi run support, had some good learning experiences last year and flashed some big league talent with real bullets flying. He is the reason we took Oline depth instead of a cb earlier in the draft. If Levi has a good camp he can hold the cb2 spot but its just a matter of time until Dane starts.
  15. I trust our Gm and Coaches, but if they are truly counting on this guy to be a difference maker on our defense this year I would consider that to be overly optimistic. Does anyone know if we brought in any free agent 1 techs to try out this year?
  16. Karlos the Killa If only he had a good mentor that pushed him to be a responsible, hard working athlete, take care of his body and train properly. Instead he got a lazy pregnant wife who wanted him to stay home and eat with her. That dude had some serious natural talent, he did better his rookie year than Derrick Henry did by far.
  17. Maybe, but when your fan base is spending tens of millions of dollars literally that day on tickets it would be nice know your stud qb isnt going to be missing games due to Covid. I'm still surprised Josh wasnt one of the first team members to get vaccinated, he seems like a guy that would follow logic and science, team doctors advice etc.
  18. I know right. Plus that's an utterly useless stat. It's not adjusted for situational football, scaled with attempts etc. ,'Turnover Worthy', was James Worthy's nickname early in his career, maybe they're confused by that....
  19. Man I hope you're right but I feel like Smoke did a lot more here than people seem to remember. The dude has three 1000+ yd seasons in this league and was our top weapon two years ago. If Diggs stays healthy we have no problems, and Sanders will play a nice role, but if Stef goes down we will kick ourselves for not offering JB $4M per year to restructure and stay a Bill.
  20. uh yeah because why would you want to include fans and the media? smh
  21. I was cracking up at Charles Barkley talking about Larry Bird saying "Charles I can't believe how bad you guys are disrespecting me tonite, tryin to cover me with a white guy"
  22. Odds are we get one good NFL edge rusher and maybe a solid tackle out that emerge from our top 4 picks. Anything more than that would be amazing. Rookies can surpise everyone even if they get thrown in too early because of injury. I feel like Basham will impact this year late season.
  23. That makes perfect sense, except I get the feeling Sweeney may get beat out in camp by another player we haven't signed yet.
  24. The thing I can't get is how Wade isn't a good punt return prospect. Watch his rugby highlights the dude has incredible quickness and strength, strong hands and seems like he can make the first guy miss, protect the ball and get upfield. If he isn't at least competing for the job in camp that must mean they've already determined he's not good enough for the job I guess. I'm hoping it's just that we've had an all-pro returner on our team since he's been here and it didn't make sense to have anyone else out there, but that he can get his chance this year.
