  1. Defense, and power running game I agree, but they lack a vertical passing game w dangerous WR's. I think a complete team needs that dimension. We have the personnel to play them in man coverage with a single high safety or even Cover 0 and flood that first 10 yards with defenders. Cant wait for that game.
  2. When I first saw him at camp I remember thinking we'd better be drafting pass catchers with big strong hands because of the way he rips that ball, but for some reason--other than Knox-- we havent seemed to have any more drops than anyone else and that includes some smaller guys like Bease, John Brown, Lil Dirty etc. A good example of how effortless his throws are is the fade TD pass to Diggs. On TV it looks like a short pass but in reality that ball is going about 35 yards in the air and is a lot further than it looks, but his wind up is like he's throwing a little checkdown. Freak athlete.
  3. If Jags n Skins played each other it wld be a pick em. And McLaurin and Chase both went out of the game w injuries, their 2 best players.
  4. yeah they cover almost every week. plus we are 2 TD's better than NY all day.
  5. I think he is overrated, although no HC offers after multiple interviews tells me other GM's don't rate him that highly either. In his defense, nobody can go very far with poor Oline play, but he is so scared to run that defenses almost always know what's coming. I also agree w another poster wondering why we drafted Basham who never plays when we were so in need of Oline talent. Some of this is injury related, but part of it is poor planning.
  6. Wonder how Quinton Spain and Wyatt Teller would do on either side of Mitch. Watched Spain play a few weeks ago he was killin it.
  7. Obviously not, just an observation that despite all the crappy play we still were one drop away from a W on a very simple throw n catch between two great players.
  8. Rewatched 4th Q. No question if Gabe Davis catches the short throw from Josh that appeared to hit him in the hands, if he doesnt score we are at least 1st down on the 20yd line down 3 with a minute left. As poorly as we played, that would have swung the game. Didnt realize how critical of a drop that was until the rewatch. Gabe won us 1st Miami game last year and Indy playoff game with his hands and concentration, sucks that he couldnt have pulled it off again.
  9. Tre was amazing. His best game of the year. He's just born to play NFL cb. The dude is sticky but doesnt blatantly hold, great ball instincts and timing, plays bigger than he is.
  10. he'll still find a way to hog the camera
  11. motive, evidence, dna, and he happened to cut his hand "on a glass" he broke the exact same night of the brutal knife fight. Those arent long odds at all.... And he tried to run because thats what all innocent people do, duh. Yeah, the kid did it.
  12. Thats very interesting about the Cards cutting Rosen loose so quickly and getting Kyler the next year. And look at em now....
  13. 10 games left for seeding, and even then, Titans Bills homefield issue only arises if we are tied and are the last two teams standing. Tenn is one Derrick Henry hammy tweak away from missing the playoffs anyway.
  14. Well, at least their fans are patient and supportive, that'll help the cause.....
  15. I was surprised by the results. Mahomes is an MVP and superbowl champ barely in his prime and look at the Bills faithful saying we'd rather have Josh and Tre White. Pretty cool. I know the Chiefs sure could use Tredavious right about now, and from the looks of it yesterday, so could the Ravens. You forgot the 4th option in the survey though: If you were the Bengals, would you rather A) stay put and draft John Ross or B) draft Mahomes ? Here's a hint, Ross now plays for the Giants and his career total yardage is less than Bease had last year alone.
  16. Ed having his best season yet. Wish he had an inch and 20lbs on him, he's strong as hell and can penetrate but I'd say in a redraft he's a mid 2nd rounder ish. Also remember he plays a position that doesnt get a lot of big plays. Leslie and McD gave Ed more snaps than any D lineman last week, they like the kid.
  17. Maybe, but I think we couldnt stop Chiefs on anybodys field the last two years. They were a better team than we were and proved it multiple times. we still want home field though. thats for sure.
  18. trade deadline is before then, plus why would Houston care if they face Deshaun, they're tanking the season anyway and they need a qb. Fins dont have a 1st round pick next year to deal.
  19. by fall apart do you mean score 30+ and hold Tanny to 200 yds, no TD's and a pick? i'd say we did fine. If we play the Titans 10 times we win 7 or 8. Wasnt in the cards tonite.
  20. Baker seems to have peaked, and teams are starting to overplay him to limit the roll out/scramble to his right--throw on the run play, which he does really well. Basically the guy is a .500 qb since he's been in league and he's had good talent around him. Browns will have to pay him after this year but man I'd hate to be gambling on that dude.
  21. we whipped em 1st half but had no answer for Pitt pass rush in 2nd half who knew Daboll was just throwing every play. They pinned back and got to Josh way too often.
  22. Thats my pet peeve w NFL refs--flagging P.I. without quickly checking where the ball is and if it was a catchable pass. Kelce Tre penalty did not prevent the pass from being completed, it was clearly uncatchable.
  23. Yeah that was the 3rd blown call that was outrageous. I actually think they just got the number wrong on the Mitch holding call, that someone else on our Oline line held. There's no other explanation, Mitch barely touched anyone and they were only calling blatant stuff.
  24. Maybe but they're sub 500 and have some serious issues. If they go on the road for playoffs that defense is gonna get rolled badly.
