  1. Hopefully. But it'll be at 4pm and still get out in the dark. Its frustrating.
  2. I'm assuming this is a joke. Ed is playing great ball for us right now.
  3. If Goodell isnt compassionate enough to see that a Buffalo night game is more dangerous with the sidewalks and roads loaded with snow, and that this city just had a storm that killed 40 members of this community then the league is more money hungry than I thought. Keep the stupid game at 1pm Roger you pasty faced puppet. You've already put us on a million night games, we lost a home game to another storm, try to do something right for a change. It's easier to see pedestrians in daylight, especially when there are 8 foot snowbanks. Obviously a Denver win over KC puts us in a sweet spot and then the league wouldn't flex the game anyway. They'll come out with a statement that says "we've decided in light of the recent events in Buffalo that it's safer to keep the game at 1pm"
  4. Eric Wood nicely implied that Bates did fine AND played through an-game injury, but that the line is operates much more smoothly with Mitch in there, esp on the road where he calls out assignments etc.
  5. I agree with you. Plus Barkley has earned around $15M and seems wise enough to invest his money and not blow it. Once you are set financially, the next thing is doing something you love, and being a Bill is something he and his family love.
  6. My son and I went to the Miami game this year and the fans there were awesome to us. Granted there were just as many Bills fans in the stadium but they were really fun and with the exception of a few dopes that were drunk and yelling Fbombs in front of little kids when the game ended on that final missed throw to McKenzie in the endzone, they were good hosts. I caught a Miami football in the stands and gave it to a little Dolphins fan maybe 6 years old, which made his day (I was wearing a Diggs Tshirt on my head because it was 500 degrees). A lot of Fins fans saw me do it, so for what it's worth they saw the good side of the Mafia. The other thing about Miami is they really do start chanting and yelling when their team has the ball which is strange.
  7. When Coach Saleh said all cocky "we will see the bills again" we all laughed and said "uh yeah, first of all you probably aren't making the playoffs and if you come back to Buffalo in the playoffs we'll be favored by 14 so we'd love the chance to beat you again" Maybe he just meant we'll play them next year after his 7-10 season is over.
  8. From day 1 McD's interviews have been a total waste of time. He says nothing but typical monotone boring blah blah coachspeak, but in fairness to him its what he says to the players that really matters and he's pretty good in that regard. When Beane is interviewed he tends to be more interesting, insightful, forthcoming, charismatic. I always tune into Beaners interviews but honestly I skip every postgame or pregame McD presser because there's simply no content. His inability to explain the 13 seconds was classic McD, at a time when he owed this fanbase an explanation he didnt have the ability to do it which was maddening because we had a clear path to the superbowl and he blew it.
  9. This exact same play was the reason we lost the 1st game to Miami. Deep cross wide open Waddle. I was at the Florida game and remember saying theres no way Poyer/Hyde wouldve blown that coverage, then the exact same play hits us again at home w Poyer on the field. He also took a crappy angle on the Dalvin Cook long TD which he never does. Funny he gets pro bowl in a season with some major errors, and in the past hes played very long stretches of flawless ball and doesnt get the nod.
  10. I don't think he will be asked back next year. Two massive mental mistakes, he may have already cost us the 1 seed in the Minny game but he almost lost us another one yesterday. Its sad but we cant have that guy in critical situations anymore.
  11. Montgomery is a beast at RB, better than Mostert who just chewed us up pretty good. We will see a lot of that guy on Saturday, but overall they're just not a very good squad this year.
  12. Outside of false starts from crowd noise, another major advantage is changing/moving players preSnap is no longer an option. It hurt us vs KC this year, especially in the redzones where it gets deafening.
  13. Great point OP. There will always be overly negative fans, critiquing is all they know and I guess thats okay. We were 7-6 last year at this time and ended up a play or two away from probably winning it all. If we keep the 1 seed oh boy look out. My only beef is Cam Lewis almost cost us another game with another mental error. I love the kid, his story etc but he can't be trusted anymore. Fool me twice.
  14. Hamlin has had some hiccups filling in for Hyde but that dude is a baller, he just needed the reps.
  15. The refs know to look for it by now, Im sure our front office has had the league look into it. Wilkins is such a lowlife. Too bad because the guy has talent, he's just a classless dude who cant help himself from cheapshotting.
  16. Once in awhile we try a long ball to Gabe but Dorsey's system thrives on the underneath stuff, the holes in the zones etc. Very rarely are we seeing anything but 2 deep safeties, so our bread and butter is 5-15 yarders, and even though they're smaller guys, Brown and Bease have hundreds of catches underneath. Both have great hands and know how to free up and get back to Josh if he is extending the play. Brown has the ability to setup guys with his double move and still has the speed to separate as we saw vs Jets. Pumped for these guys to be back in the saddle.
  17. Groot is the man. Showed great work ethic in the offseason, added another 10 lbs of muscle and spent every day in practice watching and talking to Von. He is a complete player now and its coming at the perfect time.
  18. yeah giving up the Cheetah was a bad move but didnt they have cap issues?
  19. These Chiefs have NEVER played a playoff game outside of Arrowhead, and have never traveled to Buffalo for a Mahomes Allen battle. I know the 1 seed clinch is a long way down the road, but if we pull it off for once it will be nice to host a pair of home games and then off to the BiG sHoW
  20. yeah fins losing would be nice but we will beat them ourselves to drop them down the standings. The key is Cinci beating KC. we need that 1 seed.
  21. overpaid. solid TE overall i'd say he would grade out at a B. inconsistent hands but makes some insane grabs. I believe Q Morris is going to emerge as a legit receiving weapon in this offense, but Dorsey doesnt feature TE's like Daboll would. It seems like they are checkdown options for Josh, def not 1st or 2nd reads.
  22. He was trying to see if Mac Jones arm was actually just a prosthetic made with rags.
  23. I remember that play. Smoke had a lot of underneath stuff too, 3rd down grabs, tough catches, he's a baller for sure. If he has stayed in shape he can make an impact. Too bad we lost hodgins off the PS, this would have been his time to start building his 1st real season with us.
  24. Well, Edmunds is having a pro bowl season and Klein was practically out of football a few weeks ago but OK
  25. Head coach has two major jobs, be a leader and be a game coach. McD gets an A for leadership, setting a high standard and holding everyone to it. He's the real deal in that category. As far as game management which includes a ton of things from time outs, reviews, adjustments, technique reminders for players, etc. McD either relies too heavily on his staff or not enough, but the 13 seconds defense was a lack of communication between staff and players that I believe cost us a Lombardi. In the MInny game, Cam Lewis is an undrafted backup FS who is good but STILL should have had multiple coaches look him in the eye before the 4th and 18 prayer and say CAM KNOCK IT DOWN, EVERYONE KNOCK IT DOWN. Here is the 1st down marker, the ball is coming in this 10 yard patch of grass, All Dbacks look at me, knock the ball down! If he does that, if his staff does that under his direction, we win that game and are ahead of Miami and more importantly KC right now. Same with the Hail Murray, you are a coach that keeps preaching fundamentals but you need to communicate and reinforce them in critical situations or it will cost you games and possibly superbowls. He was a good college player at a tiny school, and became a good DC and eventually a head coach but when he is facing Andy Reid or Belichick or even new guys like Vrable, he doesn't have a knack for critical situation control and communication. I am glad he is our coach but hoping a more assertive DC comes in to replace Leslie and then Sean takes the Marv Levy role as leader and overall strategist but not game tactician. These players are pro's but they're also jacked up 20 year olds running on adrenaline and still need game coaching.
