  1. It's the whole group. Shady is heading to 30 and Ivory was garbage last two years - 3.4 YPA. DiMarco is terrible. But I see your point. At least Shady has produced. Edmunds will start but he is a rookie and there is no back-up.
  2. Here is my top to bottom list of position groups. I think WR has the most potential to improve without adding new people. Benjamin when healthy can dominate and Zay may break out - though just as likely to wash out. Collectively I think we have the worst group of linebackers in the NFL. Edmunds looks like he could be a star but not at age 20. I still think John Miller has a shot at winning the RG spot and a new OC could get this whole group playing better. I hate the age of the backs but Shady is still a top 4 talent on this team. S CB/Nickel DT QB DE RB P/PK/LS OT TE WR C/G MLB OLB
  3. If Allen starts it will be because he wins the competition and not because AJ is terrible. Best case scenario AJ wins 9 or 10 games and we trade him for a second round pick.
  4. So did I and I hope to look even more wrong this year. OLB is weakest spot on the team and if he regresses it will be even worse
  5. 1. OLB 2. TE 3. RT 4. WR 5. RB This defense needs great linebackers and the Bills have a 19 year old and a bunch of question marks at best. They need to draft another this year and move Lorax to special teams. They should take a flyer on a TE with speed and then address RT. At least with WR they have some options. A late round RB makes sense too. Add a couple CB and Safeties along with a few C/G's in UDFA.
  6. Draft another LB or a WR. Both are greater needs than OL. Miller will be back and be good with a new OC. Groy will be fine at C. Look for a veteran back-up. Hell even Ducasse was solidly average over the final eight games last year.
  7. Back-up QB in Buffalo is the fan favorite followed by the punter...
  8. I think more than any other position WR should only be ranked by era. The evolution of the passing game and the change in rules make it impossible to compare today's video game like numbers to those of the 1970's and 1980's. In his era, he was behind Rice and Irvin. I would place him ahead of Tim Brown. Brown probably had more top end speed but Reed was the better overall WR. If you just watched the two play, Irvin was the more physically gifted WR. Largent's career was winding down. And Monk was never the best WR on his own team despite the plethora of catches. Reed's negatives are his lack of any truly brilliant or dominant seasons and he played in a weak AFC. I would agree with the latter point. The former argument could be countered that the Bills had a balanced attack with perhaps the best all-purpose RB in history, a future HOF #2 in Lofton, and an offense that could dominate games on the ground.
  9. 1. Allen falls to 12 and they take him keeping all their picks, adding two LB's, a C/G, and a DL 2. Rosen gets past the Jets and the Bills deal to #4 or #5 giving up 12 and 22 but keeping their day 2 picks 3. Their top QB is still available at # 2, and Bills take their shot giving up 12, 22, and next year #1, still add a LB and C/G
  10. 32 GMs were wrong about Brady, some as many as six times Draft is a lottery and entertainment. At least Kiper admits it. Pete Prisco is the guy I cant stand when it comes to draft coverage and grades
  11. My guess is “accuracy issues” has more letters in those two words than the total number of plays 99% of this board has seen Allen play.
  12. 1. Trading Jason Peters - I don't care what they received. He was on his way to a HOF career. 2. Not trading down and taking Whitner 3. Almost every trade up this team has made - Watkins, Troup, Losman, Zay, TJ Graham, McCargo
  13. If Darnold #1, the Bills don't trade because I think the Giants will take a non-QB. This leaves Allen, Rosen, and Mayfield, two of which will be available at #5. If Allen, #1, the Giants don't trade because they will take Darnold.
  14. No. That title goes to the Ryder Cup. When I watched golf, we had to listen to two years of drivel about who was going to be the captain's piack. And then listen to non-sense about how the pairings make any difference. Dumbest competition in sports with the worst fake drama.
  15. I have no issue with that and then see what AJ and a new OC can do. Still think they swing for the fences but AJ and 6 high draft picks is a reasonable way to go. No thanks. If they got Allen at 12 I would be perfectly happy trading out of the first round and give up 22 for another second this year and next year. A player at 22 or in the top 10 of the second round are just as likely to succeed but at a significant discount.
  16. Wet dream Allen is there at 12. If so it will be an absolute homerun. If Allen is gone, then you take best defender on the board at 12, maybe trade down a few spots if you can instead, and then take Rudolph at 22.
  17. Hated CJ pick. Also wanted Bulaga. I did not think much of Clausen but would have been fine with trading down and taking him late in the first or when he made it to the second round taking him there. Hated the Troup pick as almost everyone said he was a fourth or firth round guy.
  18. Tampa. They should have been better last year and they got the player I would have traded back up to get - OJ Howard. If Nelson slips to 7 they will grab him. If not they will daft a CB.
  19. The OP is right and wrong about the Giants. Yes if they want a QB there is little chance they will trade out. However if they want to add pieces around Eli, multiple picks is the way to go. Barkely is a RB and though probably the most talented player in the draft he is still a RB. That is a position that can be filled easily later in the draft or on the cheap in FA. I would be shocked if they stay at #2 and take Barkely. Nelson and Chubb are much better choices for the Giants or even a top OLB like Smith or Edmunds one of which is sure to be available at #12. So if the Bills want to get to # 2, they either give up 12,22, and next years #1 or they find a way to get to 6 or 7 and then make another jump to 2. The reality is the Giants control the Bills future. Best case scenarios are the Giants take a non-QB which I don't think they will if Darnold is on the board. Or the Jets take Mayfield and Rosen is still available at #4. Last best case scenario, Allen falls out of the top 4.
  20. Going from 12 to 4 is a whole lot different than 12 to 2. To get to #2 it will take 12, 22, and next years #1. To get to #4, I think you could give up 12, 53, and 65. That still leaves 22, a second, and a third this year and next year's first. I would be perfectly fine with 12, 22, and 65 for #4 if Allen or Rosen are still on the board. That still leaves two seconds, a third, and next years #1. In fact I think that will be the deal made but it will be with the Broncos at #5 again if Allen or Rosen are still there. If the Giants take a QB, it will be LB at #12 and Rudolph at 22.
  21. No Rex should have kept Schwartz and just be the HC. He would still be HC now if he had not changed the defense. He was fine with the players and with game management. 2015 they had top 10 offense and Rex's defense got worse every week. Losing A. Williams hurt but it was the scheme that destroyed the defense.
  22. OG Nelson looks like a sure bet to be a perennial All-Pro. Said the same thing about DeCastro and if not for early injury season he would have been All-pro his entire career. Many things can happen. Some players just don't fit the correct defense. What if the Giants did not have a NT and they switched LT to a 4-3 DE?
  23. Rosen is second choice after Allen Best case scenario for Buffalo, the first three picks are Darnold, Barkely, Mayfield
  24. Allen, Rosen, then Darnold. You could talk me into Mayfield over Darnold as well. He turns the ball over and does not do well in a crowded pocket. See 2017 WSU game when some of his linemen were out.
  25. Two. If the criteria is multiple pro bowls. Allen and Rosen. If the criteria is SB wins then one. Allen and Bills 2021.
