I'm on record giving up 12, 22, and 2109 #1 for the Giants second pick overall. I make that trade in a sec for Allen. I pause for a moment but still make trade and take Darnold if Browns take Allen. I would not give up two # 2 for OBJ. He will cost too much and they have too many holes in the front 7.

Bruuuuuuce!!!! #2 on all time best #1 picks
Dadonkadonk replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OJ should have been 3rd. He was far better than Aikman and Bradshaw at his position. OJ is in the conversation for greatest RB of all time. Those two aren't even close. Mario Williams is also too low. Probably ten spots too low. -
What would you grade the 2017 draft?
Dadonkadonk replied to Bing Bong's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watson and Mahomes haven't played a half season combined. I would grade it B+ based on Trey, Dawkins, and the 2018 Number 1. Giving up day two picks after successfully moving down on day one prevents me from giving an A grade Trey is a top 5-8 DB in the league and can get better. A+ Jones is a bust so far. He may turn it around but as of now he is a bust and they gave up an extra pick to move up to get him. Terrible. D- Dawkins looks like he can handle the LT spot. He was above average but not great. B- (B+ player but slight downgrade again as they gave up an extra pick to move up) Milano wouldn't start if they had any decent other LBs. Peterman will be out of football in 2 years. He lacks the arm to play at the NFL level. -
Do all the #1 QB's in the draft want to come to Buffalo?
Dadonkadonk replied to Punt75's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bruce Smith never spent an extra moment in Buffalo. I worry more about SEC kids that have never spent a moment outside of their small shithole towns in Mississippi, Arkansas, or Louisiana. They are coddled in a SEC University town where even a white police officer won't mess with them. The cultural shock from the deep South to a city of decent size is far greater than going from California to a small NFL market. Any NFL star will get media exposure, especially a QB. The national media talks about winners and the extreme losers. Buffalo has been neither for nearly two decades. -
Agreed. Not even close. Would need to add a 2019 Number 1 and maybe Gronk

Good attempt. I just don't see Giants taking any QB except Darnold. If Cleveland takes him then the Giants will take Barkely in your no trade scenario. I understand Chubb at 4 over Barkely and good for you for going against the grain. I don't see Barkely making it past 4 unless the Browns trade out to Bills. For the record I see Allen either first overall or dropping to Bills at 12. Wyoming product in NYC just doesn't fit. Next worry is Denver at 5 where Allen may make Elway pause for a moment. But in the end I agree Elway will take Nelson or the top DB on their board.

Who is your second favorite team?
Dadonkadonk replied to Misterbluesky's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I always liked the Chargers or Seahawks as a second favorite. I appreciated the 49ers but never really liked them nor any other NFC team growing up. Part of it was I couldn't stand Pat Summerall calling NFC games. I liked Fouts, Winslow, Kreig, Zorn, and Warner. I'm on the west coast now and my kids are Seahawks fans. -
For all who want to trade up so bad

If we were to trade up, when would it happen?
Dadonkadonk replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Giants aren't trading until Cleveland picks. If Browns take Allen the Giants will take Darnold. That leaves Rosen or Mayfield for the Jets and Barkely for the Browns at four. It is the Bills worst nightmare scenario. If Browns take Darnold, I think there is a good chance the Giants trade out of #2. The Giants don't control the draft but whatever they do at #2 will have franchise changing repercussions for multiple teams. -
If they get Allen at 12 Beane will be GM of the year. But he will be long gone by then, likely first overall.

Who had the strongest arm in NFL history?
Dadonkadonk replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Elway George Vick Bledsoe Cunningham Current Flacco, Rodgers, Stafford George was a very good QB for two teams. Threw too many pics but also made throws others could not. -
None of These QB's Should Get the Hype
Dadonkadonk replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does OP know Kelly wasn’t the first or second QB taken and not the Bills first pick? Does OP know there was real debate between Leaf and Manning and Bledsoe and Mirer? -
Manning and Wilson won with defense. They were below average QBs when they won. You can argue Peyton was worst starting QB ever to win a SB his final year in Denver In that scenario Cleveland takes Barkely and Denver takes Rosen. If Denver passes on him then need to trade with Colts to stay ahead of Miami and Arizona Completely agree

DRAFTING TOP 5 QBs NOT REALLY A "CRAPSHOOT"
Dadonkadonk replied to theRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
50 % succes rate and at least 3 high picks to get into top 5 They better be right or McD will be gone before 2020. -
Allen is the best. Hope Darnold, Rosen, and Mayfield fool the others
-
Why Kirby? Next year is next year. Why give up picks this year when they can rebuild the front 7 and get a QB. AJ, Shady, a better defense with an aging Brady will surely keep us in contention for a playoff spot.
-
Perfect scenario is to sit at 12 and have Allen fall. That wont happen. So trade 12,22, abd next years #1 for #2 and take Allen. That still leaves two seconds and two thirds for the defense.

McDermott: NFL is a “drop-back league”

4th may be the highest we can go.
Dadonkadonk replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only hope is if Giants take Barkely Yes. You are overvaluing Eli. NYG easily can go QB. Theeir roster is terrible so best move is to trade down. But if they think Eli is done they may draft QB. -
THE GREAT DEBATE: Was Mario Williams A Good Signing?
Dadonkadonk replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Had they lwt Whaley hire Hue Jackson and kept Schwartz, Whaley would still be the GM, and he would have had another chance to get a QB. Rex destroyed the team.
