  1. Baker isn't great, but with his shoulder healed up, good weapons and the right coaches, he'll be decent. I'm not sure why he gets so much hate.
  2. He's been far better than any of the IOL on our roster, but I suspect that hip injury has ended his career. Perhaps Torrence will be even better. I sure hope so.
  3. Spot on IMO. I do think our OL can be better, but they'll have to prove it. I'm excited for Torrence's potential. McGovern, not so much. My hope is that Edwards will return to pre-injury form and unseat McGovern. He was slightly above average in LA at one point.McGovern only got a starting job last year and Dallas let him walk because he was subpar. The Bills are gambling that McGovern and Brown can develop into decent OL. Otherwise they look to become career backups.
  4. Florio says the Chiefs have traded for him. Translation: We need to pay up and sign Hopkins if we're committed to winning the SB. I know we'll have to pay for it in the future, but do you want the Lombardi Trophy or not? The ante has just been raised. Are we in or are we going to fold?
  5. My concern is that he might play much better for a fat contract, then hit the snooze button once he gets paid. Will he be the next Darius?
  6. So has a jury already determined his guilt?
  7. Saffold had a great career and was one of the top Guards in the NFL, but injuries took their toll. Am I allowed to bring that up here or is only hate allowed?
  8. What's this nonsense about not being able to play video games past age 13? I'm 67. I have lots of grandchildren and I play with them whenever I can. My wife likes video games too. I also love to read and don't watch TV. Don't like my choices? Too bad. The Chinese Communist Party limits game time because they don't like games either. Maybe you should move there. Just don't criticise the CCP or you'll go to prison.

And nothing bad happened to the 2023 cover guy, as he was.... well, not alive 🤔 This is silly. How is there "serious hate" and how is 93 overall "somewhat low?" 🤣 That leaves only Mahomes & Burrow ahead of him, which is pretty much how most people see it. If we weren't Bills fans, some people would say he's too high. Jalen Hurts is an 89, ranked below Dak Prescott, Lamar Jackson & Justin Herbert. If they rated him any higher, there'd be people raging about how overrated EA has him (which some already do). I don't care about his awareness rating though. He does fumble more than other QB's, and he LEAD THE LEAGUE in turnovers last year for all QB's... He's still a 93 overall! That's not "serious hate" by any metric. Read my post more closely. Better yet, put he game in spectator mode and use the CPU Skill slider "SIMSLIDERS". Set the game settings to 15 minute quarters and the play countdown to 13 seconds. You'll see what I mean. He's an absolute horror show. My son won't even play Madden any more online because of the absurd fumble rate. Yes he fumbles too much, but 4 or more times per game? For example, Kyler Murray ran 4 times fewer than Allen in 2022, but fumbled almost twice as much. His "Carrying" rating (A player's ability to avoid fumbles) was something like 12 to 16 points higher than Allen's. Clearly that's bias at work. 5 minutes ago, Buffalo716 said: He’s literally one of the most over powered players in the game when controlled by a human True, if you always slide or go out of bounds when you run with him. Plus, when controlled by you, that automatically overrides several of his triggers that make him cost the team wins.
  10. I doubt it. It's quite clear that there's serious hate for Allen at EA Sports. Despite a somewhat low 93 overall rating, there are several triggers which make him a serious liability. For one, his awareness is far too low causing him to make a lot of bad decisions. While his rate of fumbling is far too high, in Madden, his fumbling is absolutely ridiculous. Additionally, his pocket presence is "paranoid", causing him to panic far sooner than in real life. I once ran a simulation game in spectator mode and he fumbled 3 times in a sequence of just 8 offensive plays including 2 fumbles on 2 consecutive plays. His Madden avatar , despite his leading the NFL in turnovers in 2022, is a far cry from reality. I always have to go into the Bills roster and fix the most obvious errors to get a more realistic performance from him. Otherwise the Bills massively underperform as a team. I fully expect the same nonsense from the Madden raters in Madden 24.
  11. Statistics show a high positive correlation between gun ownership and gun deaths. In other words, more guns means more gun deaths.

I don't believe American liberals are the left. In fact, the only time lefties have been on the corporate media recently is when they were being interviewed by Tucker Carlson. MSNBC and CNN trask lefties as a matter of policy. Today's liberals aren't even good at being liberal. They support censorship over free speech. They support every war that comes along. They support lockdowns and mandates. I can support traditional liberalism as defined by John Locke who would be appalled by today's liberals.
  13. Based on last year, I'd say 11 wins. However, last year was pretty bad on the injury front. It wasn't just losing 3 all pro caliber guys on D, but so many guys missed time and were never 100%. If we can have better luck, add 2 to 4 more wins. 10 hours ago, frostbitmic said: None of the Bills, Chiefs or Dolphins will win the Super Bowl. Since the London games began in 2007, only one team that played in London went on to win the Super Bowl that year. That team was the 2007 Giants. ----- That 's purely coincidence. Sometimes stats are just numbers with no causal relationship.
  14. More aggressive means more big plays in both directions. You just hope that the lion's share of them help the D. As far as AJ Klein as starter is concerned, I think his physical limitations make that an undesirable outcome. Bernard has much better speed and has added bulk. Williams' is one of the fastest LB's if not the fastest in the NFL. Seriously, he has WR/CB speed. I'm hoping one or both of these 2 younger players emerges as a great matchup LB with AJ as his mentor. That would be ideal.

Justifiably if there is issue with Allen's health (shoulder, elbow) as a fan base we come to his defense. As we should and given his level of play when he is healthy. You and others have previously referenced Brown's injuries, lack of a true recovery, and continued concussive ( to the body) nature of the position he plays. ...and generally from a lot of us he almost gets an "F' you, be better or be gone." I like the moves Beane has made on the Oline. However, I am hoping that Brown can at least get back to what he was his rookie year, when healthy. If he doesn't that is too bad, because he did so much imposing of his will that first year. However I am very much pulling for him, because he is one of our guys, because he's done it before, and because of the disadvantages he has experienced caused by his injuries, especially at that position. Maybe we could cut him a break and see. Go Bills. ------------ Why do you want Brown to play like he did in his rookie year? He was terrible. He's never played well. I do think his athleticism gives him a chance to be OK, but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe this is his year. 7 hours ago, machine gun kelly said: As always Donuts, you’re more eloquent than I. I agree. I’m not indicating Brown gets a permanent pas nor am I inferring you stated that point. He has a full of season, OTA’s, mini-camp, training camp, and preseason games. I expect he gets back to the bruiser adding from his raw power his rookie year to a more complete RT this year. If not, we tried and moving on. I felt the same on Knox and he delivered in year 3. His year 5 needs to be more like year 3 than 4. I don’t know why he want targeted, but I suspect the sudden loss of his brother probably was a deeper problem than we know. I’ve heard as we all have heard maybe the brother took his kid or he OD’d. IDK and it’s non of my business. Im just hopeful Dawson is more at peace at whatever took his brothers life and he is 100% Bills and Football this year. I appreciate as always you’re comments. ------- Dawson had a back injury last year. I believe it happened in camp. I bet that was his biggest problem.
  16. I don't get all the hate for McDermott, but HC'ing performance is judged by the performance of others and I can't honestly say that we've ever had the best roster in the NFL despite rumors to the contrary.
  17. 25 minutes ago, MikeSpeed said: I am pretty optimistic this year. When McDermott took over the play calling duties when the defense was struggling before they did improve! The pessimistic points seem very trivial. I remember that San Diego game well. Our defense was getting obliterated in the 1st half. McDermott took over in the 2nd half and the D played lights out. I'm excited to see what he can do.
  18. So much depends on Josh. He does things no one else can, but makes too many mistakes. Still, I remember a year when Joe Namath threw 6 interceptions against the Bills at War Memorial Stadium. It was the only game we won and the only one the Jets lost as they went on to defeat the heavily favored Colts in SB3. Josh just needs to find that level where he's doing enough, but not pressing. I also think most people underestimate the value of a great OL. I hope Torrence and Brown can have great years. That will really help all parts of our offense. And then we'll hopefully have Von back for the playoffs. That will help the pass rush as well as providing a spark to the whole team psychologically.
  19. I know he's not a skill player, but considering how weak our OL was last year, Torrence may have the biggest positive impact of anyone new to our roster this year. Love this pick!
  20. Brown may be a smidge better overall and he's certainly the better athlete, but Shell is a better pass protector.

PFF typically ranks Edwards in the 60s - a solid backup. (Yeah, I know, it's only PFF). They rated our entire OL in the 60's last year except for Dawkins. That's why I've been clamouring for OL help and loved that Torrence was still available at pick #59. If Edwards returns to form and Brown gets his head out of his you know where, it will make our offense better than ever. I should also add that they rated Saffold in the 40's which is cheerleader territory. 20 hours ago, TBBills Fan said: Knox. Why would that be a surprise?
  23. He can run all he wants. He just needs to slide or get out of bounds. Able all, he needs to wrap up the ball a lot better than he has been. There's no excuse for all those fumbles. I understand that some will happen, especially in the pocket when he's holding the ball up and looking downfield. Once he takes off though, he needs to hold that ball against his body like a RB would.
  24. I have 2. He overpaid both Lotulelei and Conner McGovern. Neither of them are very good, but they got paid like they were.
  25. I say at home vs his old team, the Broncos. They want him 100% for the playoffs and have no reason to rush his return and risk a setback.
