  1. Of all the position groups, OL is BY FAR the weakest both on our roster and league wide. We'll be lucky just to sign a depth guy there. I strongly disagree. There is a league wide shortage of OL talent. Many guys that are starters wouldn't have even made a roster 10 years ago. Just look at the OL's from last year for the Bengals, Colts and several others.
  2. Because they are going to get pulverized behind that OL.
  3. Petermann has had the best preseason by a mile, but unfortunately, against the other teams' 2's and 3's. I don't want Josh anywhere near the field until he and his OL are ready.
  4. BPA if it's top 5, but hopefully that's our starting probowl LT for the next 15 years. Quality OL are almost impossible to get in FA, so the draft is the place to get them. It's much easier to find help at WR in FA than good OL starters. I expect a big shakeup on the OL.
  5. I was thinking the same thing, but I will be a little surprised if he doesn't get another shot if he's healthy. I disagree, but you're right. That would be a surprise.
  6. LOL 15-16 wins gets 2 votes! I think those are protest votes, eh?
  7. It seems there's always a player or 2 that gets cut from the Bills roster before the regular season that was unexpected. Who is your surprise cut. More than 1? None? I think there won't be any big surprises. They would normally cut a couple guys on the OL after a disasterous preseason, but we have no replacements. I wouldn't be surprised to see a new OL or 2 after the cut downs, though. I also think a LB or 2 could be added for help with depth. I expect all 3 QB's to make the roster because they know that the risk of injury there is very high.
  8. Well, he just scored a TD on the only good passing play of the game for our offense. I guess that's something.
  9. I disagree, but who the heck knows with all these young players in key positions? Maybe the light will come on and Allen and Edmunds will be killin' it in November. Right now, they look pretty raw, though.
  10. I think this is the best answer so far. Right on the money.
  11. Hopefully QB. With the addition of a solid CB on the right side (Will it be Davis?) you could add the secondary to that list. Other than that, I agree. Others areas may get better as the season goes along such as LB or WR, but I don'[t expect a big jump anywhere in 2018.
  12. He's nowhere near as bad as people seem to think. I'm not saying he should be a starter, but some people talk like he can't even play football because of that game and the blizzard bowl.
  13. As a human being -- yes. As a football player -- no. What the bleep is up with this guy anyways? Why is he acting like such a fool in public? Doesn't he know that he's embarrassing himself?
  14. Richie has mental health issues. He needs help coping with life. Football is not a concern for me right now. I'm not trying to be funny either. He really does need to seek professional help.
  15. Their ground game is going to beat us in the regular season meeting too.
  16. Not if they are smart and wait until Allen is ready and has something around him to work with. Also, we'll have a ton of cap space to work with after this season. Patience.
  17. I agree. We will have 2 high draft picks -- probably a top 3 to boot. We will hopefully get some OL help in this draft. I say that because it's easier to find decent WR help in FA if you have cap space because teams just aren't likely to let quality OL go when there are so few to go around these days. We also have to get help at CB, LB, DT along with several OL positions like both G spots and C. Draft a LT, move Dawkins to the right side and replace the entire interior of this OL.
  18. We didn't sell the ranch for Nate Petermann and whoever plays behind this OL is likely going to get hurt. Josh Allen already came within a hair's breadth of sustaining a concussion in just 1 half against a starting defense. Let's try to keep him alive, shall we? I know many are excited to see the rookie, but wisdom >> impatience. Let's not screw up Allen for future years.
  19. No way. We will have a top 5 or even top 3 pick in the next draft and 2 picks in the top 37. I'm sure we can get a great pair of day 1 starters if Beane gets it together.
  20. No the sky is not "falling". It is "fallen". Don't worry. We'll have lots of extra cap space next year. Hopefully they won't sign any backup caliber players for solid starter money like they did with Lotulelei.
  21. We should have made that trade. Allen came with no guarantees and what else we got? OBD asleep at the switch.
  22. We may not be the 32nd best team in the NFL in 2018. Maybe. Sorry, but that's the best I can do. I think 3 or4 wins is our ceiling.
