  1. I know Trent Murphy is still not 100%. Will he still get limited snaps with Lawson ailing? Davis was a probowler. Now he can't even win a starting job? Is it his health? Maybe past injuries have caught up to him. Does anyone know more?
  2. Josh isn't ready for this. He has the worst OL in the league and very little at WR. I suggest tempering expectations. He may turn out OK, but it's very unlikely that he'll find much success this year.
  3. We'll be 0-2. Other than that, nothing. There aren't going to be any major roster moves.
  4. Why do people think McCoy needs to be replaced? He doesn't. What we need to do is keep all of our draft picks and draft a LT and C in the top 2 or 3 rounds because teams won't let good OL walk these days. As far as Dez is concerned, he is an older version of KB. He might help a little, but not all that much.
  5. The one we draft in the first round in 2019, followed by our next starting C and RG. Move Dawkins to RT and start Teller at LG. We'll have enough cap space for a starter to replace V Davis and a WR or 2.
  6. Trade down and draft SEVERAL offensive linemen. Sign the best speed WR and CB you can get in FA. Teams don't often let good OL walk these days unless they need a QB.
  7. 2 picks and 2 TD's. 200 yards. 20-17 Bolts. Shady will have a good game. The Chargers are weakened up front with Bosa out, but they'll still get a bunch of sacks.
  8. One year into a total rebuild from top to bottom for the entire organization? Sorry, but this is not the time to jump ship and abandon what we all should have understood was needed years earlier. Maybe we can wait and see what they do with all the cap space and a couple more high draft picks before we grab the pitchforks and torches. Geez, I can't believe I'm even having to say this. I've criticized the organization when homers said we'd have a great season. Now I'm having to tell the haters to get real. SMH...
  9. UGH !!! Stop making this about religion. I don't care if the guy is a total nut job. He's a terrible QB. We already have NP to fill that role.
  10. Sadly, people don't understand that we're rebuilding and couldn't fill all the holes in the roster in a single offseason. I agree they didn't have the team ready last Sunday, but if they show any progress before December that would be a positive.
  11. It's called "rebuilding". New team president, GM, entire personnel dept, new coaching staff, roster turnover will be close to 100%. We aren't going anywhere this year. Be patient. This was necessary.
  12. I just want Josh Allen to stay healthy. He's already narrowly escaped a serious concussion. We're just starting year 2 of a total franchise rebuild from top to bottom. We'll have a top e draft pick and almost $100,000,000 in cap space in 2019. Patience.
  13. I think this qualifies as the least surprising news to come out of OBD in a long while.
  14. So what other positions should they not have addressed in order to address multiple weaknesses on the OL? QB? MLB? CB? DT? DE?
  15. Everyone screamed "Blow it up! Rebuild from top to bottom!" Now that they got their wish, all you can hear is"OMG! They blew it up! Fire everyone!" Newsflash! The only talent still available is the dumpster dive variety. The cavalry is not coming. We're rebuilding the roster from top to bottom. We'll need another year. Stop complaining. It won't help anything.
  16. Let's not rebuild entirely with past their prime players. Besides, the WR we're missing is the one that can stretch the field, so tying up all that money with Dez would be counterproductive. Other than that, available talent at this point is all the dumpster dive variety. This was never going to be a good season 1 year into a top-to-bottom rebuild. The rookie QB is far from ready anyways. No surprises here, though I honestly expected NP to play a little better than that. Allen probably won't fare any better for a while. He sure didn't look ready last Sunday. Hopefully he will be sooner rather than later. Next year is a realistic expectation for him.
  17. We're 1 year into a total rebuid starting with an entirely new coaching staff, GM, scouting dept, team president and roster. Certainly this 1st game was worse than we all expected, but hardly a major shock. Where were we supposed to get this new OL, WR corps, DL, LB corps, QB and CB who come ready to play in 1 offseason while in salary cap purgatory? Obviously the turnover has just begun. You all knew we had to bite the bullet and go through this difficult process. Yes this team sucks right now and better answers are half a year away. Geez, I thought I was the one that was too negative.
  18. There are plenty of good WR's in the NFL. Quality OL are rare. I think the OL will be MUCH harder to fix, OP.
  19. If by fluke you mean we won't lose by 44 points every week, you are correct. We'll lose by half that many most weeks.
  20. The underlying assumption here is that our HC lacks character so he keeps a bad player to appease his ego and doesn't care how it affects the team. Show some spine and just say what you mean. And for the record, this team has a lot of problems, but this is not one of them. What we lack is talent, not character. That said, KB needs to stop the infantile trash talk and get his own act together.
  21. It was a jest. Just saying that everyone comes under the microscope after a loss like that.
