  1. Does that "worse" supporting cast include the #2 defense in the NFL or are we not taking them into consideration?
  2. I don't think +6 vs Miami is all that surprising. Josh still needs to put a complete game together. Having a running QB is OK until he gets hurt. He needs to put together a 65% completion rate game and show good accuracy short, medium and deep. He needs to be able to beat good teams with his passing game. Until he does that, we will not be highly regarded.
  3. Shhhhhh! Listen! Anybody hear J Ramsey shooting off his big mouth? Me neither.
  4. Of course I would. Josh still has a very long way to go to get to where Mahomes is and there's no guarantee that he'll ever get there. Besides, Mahomes' natural accuracy is something Josh may never have.
  5. I hope my grandchildren don't grow up to be like him. That's all I have to say about JRamsey.
  6. Perhaps, but when healthy, he is above average. I think that if his health is going to be an ongoing concern, he could be gone. Still, we don't need to create more holes in this roster. We already have far too many.
  7. Josh is not good at all right now. Maybe we can consider this question in a year or 2.
  8. Meanwhile, the Sabres have won 6 straight games and moved up to 3rd in the division.
  9. He's still not playing up to his potential. We can find better ways to spend the money next year. I know our OL will struggle to contain their DL and many will be whining about moving him, but we will come out ahead in the end.
  10. I think this whole 'death of the defenses' thing is overblown. The rate of scoring in the NFL has actually made TD's seem a bit less exciting except for the Bills. They need to bring back the bump and run to save the game IMO. It's just not as fun to watch as it was when I was young. The challenge is gone with teams regularly scoring 40 and even 50 points in a single game. Yawn...
  11. We will also need a couple players on defense, but surrounding Allen with talent is obviously our primary goal. I just don't know who we'll draft because the FA period will start before the draft and no one knows this early on who we'll be able to sign.
  12. Well, if he auditions like preseason Peterman, he'll have a new job. If he auditions like regular season Peterman, he'll be looking for a job in whatever he majored in and probably end up settling for far less like most recent college grads.
  13. He'll be gone by the time we pick. we will 4 or 5 games this season and I believe the Jets and Raiders will pick ahead of us.
  14. Josh Allen's progress is the single most important factor in this team's future success or failure. If sitting him on the bench is the best way to help him, then fine, but Barkley is definitely not our future. He's had numerous chances to prove himself and wasn't even able to make the Bengals' roster as a backup. One good game does not erase all of that.
  15. We will be signing our new starting CB after the season ends. I doubt Levi is the answer, but I hope he turns out to be a surprise.
  16. Good observations. Foster actually did a great job tracking the ball on Sunday -- especially that one he came back for. I hope that becomes a habit for him.
  17. Our OL was ranked around 24th overall a week ago by PFF. This could bump them up by 4 or 5 spots. We still need a new C and OT, though. Maybe a G too. As far as Zay goes, I just hope this game marks a turning point for him.
  18. Zay Jones was the 5th highest graded player in the league on Sunday. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/0ap3000000987958/PFF-90-Club-Highest-graded-players-Week-10 Bills OL given best performance marks as well. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/0ap3000000988090/Ford-Offensive-Lines-of-the-Week-nominees-Week-10
  19. On offense, I want a stud LT (Move Dawkins to RT.) and a speed WR with more than just speed. I haven't given up on Kelvin Benjaman yet. He's still a #2, but it's not ridiculous to think he could rebound next year. Also, we must get a big upgrade at C andopen some competition at WR and TE. Some think Clay is terrible. He's not at all, but he'll never be another Gronk or Ertz. McCoy will be fine with more talent around him, but I'd like to get a power back as our #1 when we move on.
  20. 1. We aren't getting anywhere near the playoffs this season. 2. Losing for better draft position is fools gold. If you're not winning, it only means you're banged up or you just have that much more room for improvement or you've already nailed down a playoff berth and don't want to risk injury. The players are going to keep playing for pride, money or their jobs. If they aren't trying any more, they aren't that good anyways for that reason -- they give up too easily.
  21. Add a lockdown corner opposite White and replace Kyle with a stud. With Shaq and Murphy at LDE, one could be traded. Find Lorenzo's heir and this could be an awesome D. They're already very good.
  22. I say just grab the best young player with the biggest upside. If Milano doesn't make it back soon, we'll need another LB.
  23. Some of our younger players are really making strides. Aside from the last 2 drafts, I'm really encouraged by Shaq's turnaround. He may well make Trent Murphy trade bait if he keeps it up. Lotulelei has been a pleasant surprise too.
