  1. I'm not sure about a flag fest as you say but I wouldn't be surprised if they turn a blind eye here and there on questionable dirty plays like on Hauschka last year and possible late hits on Josh.
  2. God I hope somebody posts these picks on a Jets message board. The responses would be comedic gold!
  3. Very possible, but most likely in goal line situations. Don't expect Bell to break off plays of 20-30 plus yards to pay dirt against our D considering he hasn't played in over a year.
  4. One performance isn't going to make it. Josh has to show sustained improvement before these asshats reconsider their views on his game. It really does seem a lot of these ANALysts are rooting for him to fail.
  5. I see your point but I'm optimistic. One has to think with the additions made to the line and receiving corps that Allen has to improve, and I believe he takes the next step in becoming the QB this fan base has been waiting for. Then the detractors can apologize?
  6. Sorry, that mantra belongs to and I believe patented by Ryan Fitzpatrick.
  7. Wow, that FA list of WRs is either older or underwhelming. I'd easily replace Murphy with either Daniels or Irvin. Lots of good CBs to be available.
  8. How about one word for all his critics since being drafted? What's the one word that comes to their mind when Josh ends up representing the Bills perennially in the playoffs? How about, "apologetic"?
  9. Wouldn't necessarily say that. KC has a lot more talent than we do and Shady will not be a focal point there. He's in a position to have a very good, not great year. His elite days are past him but he is more than capable of backing up and spot starting if needed.
  10. I'd be happy just seeing a run game that is so effective that defenses can't predict when Josh "has to" pass. I'm tired of seeing pass formations on 3rd and 2 or 3rd and 3. If defenses can't pin their ears back on a pass rush Josh is going to be dangerous, especially with his feet.
  11. Hasn't Barkley held for place kickers in his career?
  12. The only thing I proved is how rare it is for a 3rd string QB to start 15 games in a season. But as I mentioned IMO he was 2nd string?
  13. Really dude? Bradford was the starter going into the season before he got hurt and Keenam took over. Bridgewater was gone before the season even started, but yes, TECHNICALLY he was the 1st string QB before he got hurt in training camp.
  14. Nope..... When was the last time a team that had to resort to their 3rd string QB for any prolonged period made the playoffs? If at any time we need to use our 3rd string QB for any reason outside of mop up duty the season is lost.
  15. He's not getting cut. Dolphins are tanking this year and their best bet to put forth the worst product possible is to keep Kiko on the team.
  16. Love Fitz! He's one funny mofo! Fitz doesn't necessarily make a team better or carry them on his back but given sufficient talent around him like in Tampa he is quite capable of impressive play.
  17. I'd say cut the guy but only Daboll knows the extent of his usefulness in the offense. Personally I don't see it. When he was acquired the big deal with him was his blocking. Meh........
  18. Anybody watch the video at the bottom with Tirico, Dungy, Florio and Harrison? While the first 3 express good things coming including possible playoffs Harrison takes it upon himself to disregard the Bills and Allen. He states not enough talent, poor O line and Allen's reckless running. Even jokes to Florio after he expressed positives on the Bills, " I thought I smelled alcohol on you!" How this scumbag of a player is taken seriously as an analyst is mind boggling. I submit for your viewing pleasure. https://www.nbcsports.com/video/will-steelers-offense-remain-elite-without-antonio-brown-leveon-bell
  19. To be fair the Pats do sport 2 or 3 extra defenders on the field during a game,... unfortunately their uniforms are striped.
  20. I knew his preseason woes were nothing but a smokescreen. It looked like he wasn't even trying, just punching the ball instead of snapping the leg through the kick. Pretty sure we see our "Hausch Money" kicker back to his money ways this season.
  21. 11-5 is our ceiling. 12-4 is our vaulted ceiling 13-3 is our vaulted ceiling with sky lights.
  22. He may not be a starting caliber talent but a quality back up QB in the NFL can carve out a very comfortable living and make more in one year than the average person makes in 30-40 years. Matt Moore is the first that comes to mind. I'm sure once he came to grips with his limitations and what he is capable of he embraced it like you said.
