  1. Austin is trash. Quinn would be a nice upgrade from Lawson. Barron? Isn’t he a SS or is he a converted LB now?
  2. Brady threw for over half a G and had 3 receivers over a hundred yards! Both defenses sucked but it made for a high flying entertaining game.
  3. Would love Sammy back at the right price. But we need a credible QB who would target him regularly.
  4. It was a terrible call! That drive was over 5 minutes up to that point and Buffalo was running the ball very well regardless of what the Jax D was doing. YOU RUN THE BALL!! Jax D was on fumes and deflated from an offside penalty that cost them. 1st and GOAL. Running well all drive. I don't care if 10 are in the box, RUN THE BALL! Who do you blame? Tyrod or Dennison it was a terrible call and cost us the game potentially.
  5. They're not playing from home like we are. Guess wrong and it's $800 lost. Not like anyone else was killing it.
  6. KB Zay FA: Richardson D. Thompson Streeter- remember him? Showed promise b4 injury Clay and O'Leary and Shady out the back. That's not all that bad. A quality signal caller can make that group work easily.
  7. Must be a scheme issue then cause this D line has taken a step back in recent years.
  8. eh..... Not like our front line was generating many sacks or QB pressures. No big loss IMO, we need an infusion of new blood on the D line.
  9. Unfortunately no one knows the mindset of Beane and McD and what they wish to accomplish at this point. Heck, they might not even know yet. They have proven themselves, especially McD in pin pointing scheme specific talent in the later rounds such as Dawkins and Milano. Do they trade up for their guy or sign a FA vet? Do they stay put and draft 2 blue chip players like a stud LB, DT or WR? Trade down as you suggest and stock pile players and hope you get quality starters? IMO, I see a FA/Trade (3rd Rounder) vet like Smith or Bradford and draft someone to compete with Peterman. Draft a stud DT/LB with our 1st and trade down with our 2nd first rd pick.
  10. Outside of Gaines and Ansah, not a very inspiring list of difference makers.
  11. Remember these gems? OMG! I can't believe he fell to us. We're getting Ngata! Hello Whitner. OMG! I can't believe he fell to us. We're getting Orapko! Hello Maybin. OMG! I can't believe we're getting Mack! Hello Sammy. Someone always drops, question is do we pick them?
  12. Well if we put ourselves in a situation where we can draft in the Top 3 for 10 years we might stockpile some elite talent. Are they better? Marginally. If we played in that division and had the easiest schedule in 2017 we might have gotten 11 wins. No doubt in my mind they take a step back next season. Watson and Watt will be healthy and Luck probably as well. Plus a tougher schedule will equate to 8 wins if they're lucky. Jags don't scare much, the Pats with the zebras do.
  13. Disagree. "WHEN" Bradford is healthy he is an above average QB with very good accuracy. Unfortunately the best ability is availability and Sam is about as fragile as peanut brittle. Wouldn't mind it but got to have a competent back up and a promising draft pick in the wings.
  14. 1. Godfather 2 2. Good Fellas 3. A Bronx Tale 4. Cape Fear 5. Casino
  15. Why not. From what I hear Daboll likes using multiple backs in his schemes. He had flashes last year and could be productive if used sparingly. Make no mistake, Shady is the workhorse! Jamaal's days as a feature back are over and I'd rather see him than Tolbert anyday.
  16. Agree, If every GM went by Brady's combine numbers he never would've been drafted.
  17. If heaven has a Super Bowl they have the best duo to announce it. RIP Mr Jackson.
  18. Do you really think they'll wait to hire an OC til after the draft to see which QB they acquired? LOL! It's gonna be McCoy or Chud, yeah big stretch I know.
  19. Has McCarron shown anything other than a smoking hot wife? Would you really want to go into next season with McCarron and Peterman in competition for the #1 QB spot? We need a proven vet, either Smith for a little time or Cousins for a lot.
  20. I think we should grab him at 21!!!!! We may not have another shot at him for at least 10 minutes.
  21. I'm not writing off Zay as a bust until I see him play with QB that knows how to throw timing patterns and knows how to hit WRs in stride. I want a QB that will continue our playoff trend. Don't think McCarron is it. Smith or Bradford on a 2 year deal or go for broke with Cousins.
  22. Gaines, Thompson, L. Johnson, Matthews (maybe) Brown- can't cover, slow Humber- not a starter, maybe depth Tate- uninspiring Tolbert- seriously? Everybody else can hit the bricks!
  23. He's not a dominant starter anymore, don't kid yourself. But as a rotational player, heck ya at the right price.
