  1. What is with the love affair with Gordon? He is a good, not elite RB. He has an injury history and is not worth anywhere near what he expects. And to give up draft picks on top of that? No thanks. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind having him, just not for that type of investment.
  2. Josh has definitely improved his accuracy but what he has to work on now is his ball placement. Way too many yards left on the field because he's not hitting receivers in stride, balls are high and some are behind. Receivers are hitting the turf after the catch instead of turning upfield because of body position. The big difference is he has quality WRs this season and it's paying immediate dividends.
  3. Russell Wilson comes to mind. Big Ben was pretty good in his prime but is now a statue.
  4. How much more time do we give Dawkins? He hasn't look good either.
  5. Couldn't of said it better. Josh needs more time. Giants pass rush was non existent last week. This week their in Allen's grille consistently. I know all about the Dallas O line, but damn? Maybe a little resistance from the Tackles. Dawkins is letting in too much pressure. Ford is a work in progress and seems better suited to G play Morse and Feliciano are money! Spain holds his own.
  6. McDermott playing for the field goal
  7. McDermott loves this defense so freaking much. Will we ever have a coach that goes for the kill instead of playing back and conservative. Now the Giants D will carry momentum.
  8. What is with the protection for Josh? False starts, rushed throws. Cmon Daboll, dial something up. Gotta stop the conservative BS and it the pedal.
  9. This O line is playing very uninspiring football
  10. This offensive line needs help.
  11. Omg? Halftime show talking about putting D. Jones in for Eli. All kinda agree except Phil Simms. He said wait for it, don't put Jones in against this D and ruin his confidence ? Some good praise for Josh as well.
  12. Zero pass attempts. They didn't have to. Sad...
  13. Totally agree with this. He did not look as bad as many make out. If he has time he will put up numbers. Saquon will be utilized more and their O line pass blocks very well. Not having Tate and Shepard and a gimpy Lattimer works in our favor.
  14. I just looked over the Dallas/ Giants game and quite honestly I think this game will not be easy. Yes, the Giants secondary looks very bad but Eli didn't really seem to have too much trouble moving the ball. Their Offensive Line is pretty decent and gave Eli the time needed. He had some really nice throws and Barkley had no trouble gashing the Dallas D. How they abandoned the run so early is beyond me. Home opener in a must win situation is not a good recipe for us. When I heard about how bad they were I was stoked but they really didn't look bad offensively. Defensively they couldn't stop anything but I think our D will have their hands full even missing some key players on the Giants. Defense is gonna need some turnovers this week and take them out of their run game asap.
  15. Coach: Damn it Corey! All you had to do was blow out the candles on your cake!!!! What happened? Corey: Sorry coach, I couldn't get enough air on it. Coach: Tell me about it Corey! Story of your life son!
  16. ESPN? http://www.espn.com/nfl/picks
  17. Good catch co.springs. The second was obviously batted but at least he acknowledged the unnecessary fault on Josh's part.
  18. Beat me to it! ? Good stuff on the article. I also like the fact that he's the only analyst outside of Buffalo that acknowledged both INT's were off deflections. Everyone is so hell bent on insisting the picks and mis snap are ALL on Josh just to reinforce their agenda insisting Josh is an inaccurate and reckless QB.
  19. I honestly don't see the offensive content. Before ANY draft every prospect has a CHANCE to be a starter. But like mentioned already, if it fires up him and team that's great.
  20. I know game plans change week to week but to me I think they need to really attack the LOS and focus on contain. Eli isn't leaving the pocket. Keep Barkley between the tackles and let the back 4 clean up. Don't need to focus on zone too much until 3rd and long in the secondary since their WRs are sub par at the moment. Spy on Engram, play more man coverage on their WRs and keep Saquon in front of you.
  21. 1 guy straight up, 2 against the spread. Daniel Jeremiah pick the Giants straight up as well.
