  1. Every team can look back on a draft with regret, but man, a lot of good players got passed up after TJ. Wilson Sanu Hilton Cousins Foles M. Jackson J. Norman A. Morris... to name a few...
  2. We resigned Phillips, we got Hughes and Star and Murphy and Lawson and Yarborough and Harold and H. Phillips. We're talking about drafting Oliver or Wilkins or Gary. On top of that we're trading for Clark. Just wondering? Is anybody concerned we've done nothing as far as our LB corps is concerned?
  3. No way is that enough compensation. Jets gave up (3) 2nds (37 and 49) and one this year to move up 3 spots last year. Granted it was 6 to 3 for a QB but you have to think most GMs will use that as the starting point. I'd love to get Williams btw. If Beane pulled that off this board will look to exorcise the witch within him.
  4. Thats a tough one. Gun to my head, I'd have to say ?. Would we be losing THAT much talent wise taking Oliver or White if available?
  5. Too bad... Tolbert and Benjamin missed out. They could've used this beautiful gym.
  6. Offense......... Unless Williams, Oliver, Allen, White or Bosa are still on the board! Then pick one of those.
  7. This is going to be the longest two weeks ever?
  8. In terms of speed and route running, yes. Brown weighs in at least 225 and has much more of a solid build physique wise. No doubt he'll excel at the NFL level and is probably the safest bet amongst all WRs in this draft. In no particular order I like AJ, Harry and Campbell
  9. Impressive. I can see the comparisons to Bell. Very patient, waits for the blocks to develop. Good speed also. Think he'd be rated higher, what gives?
  10. ?All good. Sanders looks like he could be something special if not a very competent starter. Patrick looks to be a short yardage chain mover, goal line type back. Tough to bring down, decent vision but looks to lack long speed. But you're right, wouldn't be mad if we got him in the 6th or later.
  11. Wow man! Just wow! Can't get one by you. At least you got the Thomas connection? It's lite humor dude, wasn't meant to be seriously accurate, but Bravo anyway?
  12. Last time a touted RB named Sanders was drafted he became an all time great HOFer. He also sat behind another NFL great before he had his chance to shine. Coincidence? I think not......
  13. No. He'll catch on somewhere, but the hope of ever seeing a big money contract is history. He'll be relegated to 1 year "prove it" deals until his career ends.
  14. It's not his hands that bother me, it's his smallish build. He gets tremendous separation but I'd worry about some safety cleaning his clock. Just watch his ( or Murray's highlights for that matter) and you'll see no one is ever close to him. He'd be the perfect WR for a QB having trouble throwing receivers open.
  15. I still remember the commercial he did chasing the chicken in a Brett Favre jersey. Hilarious!!
  16. Oh I agree with you, I'm just going by their mock as those players mentioned are still on the board after the Bills 3rd round pick.
  17. I like Allen as well. But...... Ximines/ Edge Isabella/ WR Ridley/WR McLaurin/ WR Samia/ DL Montgomery/ RB are still on the board and would also be good picks as well.
  18. McBeane is not taking STs lightly this off-season.
  19. Dareus is the pro I've seen most compared to Williams by many pundits. Oliver because of similar size and attributes has been compared to a John Randle type.
  20. OPs Post: Whether Beane trades down or stays put I can see him bundling some picks to move back into the end of the first to nail his 2nd must have. Yeah I understand that part. The OP does mention staying put at 9 which would obviously require more appealing assets to get back in the first. The option of trading down is the obvious one.
  21. Would love to see it. Unfortunately for us 7 of our 10 picks are 4th round and later. So if we are going to trade up back into the 1st they're gonna have to sweeten the pot. I understand ?'s are found in the later rounds every year but I can't see any team accepting what we have as payment. No way can we stay at 9 and trade back into the 1st without giving up future 2020 picks in the process.
  22. I'd like to think Allen would have eventually become the Allen we saw after the injury. I do see the logic in a roundabout sort of way though. Kinda like Mo Lewis should be the Patriots MVP back in 2002.....
  23. I really don't know how I'd respond if Hockenson was the Bills pick at 9. He good, but is he #9 good? Mixed emotions for sure. Kinda like watching your mother in law back off a cliff in your brand new Mercedes Benz.
