  1. All I know is our rookie coach got us 8 plus wins in a year which fans and pundits thought would be a 4 win max season. Even the most seasoned vet QB outside of Brady and Brees and Rodgers would have a hard time getting this offense to 8 wins and last I checked they weren't available. The defense as of late hasn't done this team any favors either.
  2. One of the all time favs. Used to love him doing the Bills games during the glory years. Enberg had a very sensual, passionate approach calling a game. The way he'd pump up Kelly, Reed and Thomas during a game would require a shower after it. RIP Dick.
  3. The Jaguars prevailed over the Seahawks because Seattle lost both of its star linebackers. They beat the Chargers because Los Angeles made so many mistakes. Jacksonville had just one legitimate scoring drive in that contest. The Jaguars have otherwise beaten lots of bad teams, except when they lost to the Cardinals and nearly went down to the Browns, holding just a 10-7 lead in the middle of the fourth quarter. They're overachieving, and they're likely going to make the playoffs, but they'll lose in the postseason right away and will win just 3-4 games next year once things stop going their way. Losses to juggernauts like the Titans, Jets, Arizona and Raiders. Soft division and schedule. Good year for them no doubt but they are not there yet and Bortles is well, Bortles.
  4. Top 5 picks for the last 10 years better lead to a talented roster. Add an owner who wants to win and will spend to do it and you have a winning trifecta. Soft division and a favorable schedule. Losses to Tenn, Ari, Raiders and Jets. If the Bills get in I honestly can see them beating them. Bortles has played well as of late because the D takes the heat off. Also he's basking in the glow of having a child as he and his wife had a child this past weekend ( I work in the Jacksonville hospital where they registered). I see good things in their future, but not this year as far as SB is concerned and Bortles is not the answer.
  5. Cincy cause we're a better team, unfortunately the offense went MIA. The Chargers game comes to mind as well. Not starting the guy who got thus far was stupid on McDs part, especially in the thick of the playoffs. Jets, not so much. They're better than most think and we were going in on the road on a short week against a division rival. Thanks schedule makers!
  6. I love the way he subtly tugs on the players jerseys altering their routes and slowing them down. And he gets away with it so often you'd swear he's a Patriot. Seriously though, this draft pick was a home run. Top CB for years and a 1st round pick to boot.
  7. OPIs don't physically hurt players. Unless of course your name is Gronkowski.
  8. I don't know. I was still steaming over the no call on Charles Harris hitting TT in the knees late after the ball was thrown a couple of plays before and the blatant face mask on Shady that was also not called.
  9. Having a Top 3 draft pick every year for the past 10 years will do that.
  10. You know something, you're right. Why in the world didn't he acquire guys like Antonio Brown, Drew Brees , Le'veon Bell and Luke Kuechly? He sucks!!
  11. Ok, you didn’t say spectacular, fair enough. But apparently its obvious you’re impressed with his Cleveland resume for whatever reason. If McD puts up 3 consecutive seasons averaging 6 wins you know what he’ll be called? Former Buffalo Bills coach McDermott.
  12. Anyone would be blind not to acknowledge what B.B. has accomplished. Maybe the greatest HC of all time ( personally I like Walsh) All I’m saying is that it wasn’t done overnight. He didn’t win his first SB til his 7th year of being a HC. McD in time may bear the same fruit. Maybe not. He’ll have 7-8 wins in his rookie season. He’s got a bunch of picks next draft and a good eye for talent.
  13. Dude? Where in your response does any of those accomplishments ( outside of the 11-5 season and playoff appearance ) seem spectacular to you? Outside that one playoff season you’re hailing and praising a HC that averaged 6 wins in 5 seasons of coaching. You know what, Belichick is a genius. Not just a genius, he’s possibly a Jedi master. He has everyone believing that he came into this world with a Lombardi trophy in his hand.
  14. Did you miss the part in the first sentence that states HC? Yeah he took them to the playoffs, in his 4th season. He averaged 6 wins a season the other 4. He went 5-11 his first year with the Pats and then got Brady. How about giving McD the same opportunity.
  15. Belichick was 6-10 his first year as a HC. Didn’t accomplish much of anything until Brady and a little rule bending. How about we give McD a chance to get “HIS QB” before we pounce on a guy who’ll probably finish with more wins in his rookie campaign than B.B. and more than anyone gave him a chance to win with this mediocre roster.
  16. I ordered my Takeo Spikes 51 home jersey right after that game and still sport it at the bars on game day til this day. Big fan of his when he was in Cincy and was so stoked when we signed him. What a player he was.
  17. Eh, I thought at the beginning of the season Zo, Kyle, and Wood would be gone and we'd still have Sammy, Darby, Gillislee and Dareus. We have no idea what McBeane will do.
  18. The idea is sound, it's the compensation that's off. The Bills will still be able to get a QB they like but if there's someone their enamored with they might swing for the fences.
  19. I guess people forget how Tyrod stopped Atlanta from a go ahead score with a goal line stand. It was Tyrod that punched the ball out on the recovered fumble against TB that setup the GW FG. Who can forget Tyrod making all those INTS against that Raiders. And last but not least that beautifully read INT Tyrod made against KC to ice the game. Man! The guy gets no credit around here.
  20. Hardly the worse O-Line in the league. Its the same group that led the league in rushing 2 years in a row. True, Taylors running ability skews the numbers in a more positive light but still impressive nonetheless. Its the zone blocking scheme that has caused the issues in the run game. Same old Bills sticking square pegs in round holes.
  21. Yeah he's really killing it against the Browns as they hold a 3 point lead going into the 4th quarter. SMH... Old Dareus will come around soon, I'm just glad they were willing to take on that contract. Good riddance. Until they get a QB they're the same Jags with more optimism in the fan base.
  22. Have you seen the rest of their schedule? @ Minnesota, Saints, @ Arizona, Eagles, @ Seattle, @ Titans and SF Can easily lose 4 or 5 of those. Feel good story no doubt but lets not crown them just yet shall we.
  23. Not bad at all. I have the same Takeo Spikes 51 jersey.
