  1. Glad you guys are so forgiving. Personally I'm pissed that it took this long for him to realize his zone scheme was not going to work well with this personnel. Why would you want to scrap the #1 run game scheme? You want Tyrod to be more a pocket passer and use the middle field with more timing routes, fine. But leave the run game alone!
  2. It's easy to look over things when the team is winning because well, they're winning. If you're a Bills fan you'll take an ugly win over a competent loss any day of the week. 17 years of futility will do that. I'm glad we won but there were a few miscues we all see. The one that stood out to me was the long completion to Holmes down the side line. If Tyrod throws that inside it's a walk in TD but it ended up being a toe tapping difficult catch because it was outside. FG instead of TD, more points left on the field. Still glad we won.
  3. This should end any speculation Shady would be traded or released. The guy is special and he's bought in.
  4. True. I can't think of a RB this season that has gotten to the sidelines for big gains yet. But of course everyone looks for the sexy sack numbers. Bills we're Top 5 with Pettine and Schwartz and no post season to show for it. Let's try McDs approach shall we.
  5. Pump the brakes on the Jax D please: 6th in yards/game; 2nd in points/game; 1st in total sacks; 2nd in INTs; tied for 1st in forced fumbles They've beaten Indy which along with Cle are the worst in the league. Houston before Watson. Baltimore, another awful team. And Pitt, a quality team that Jax caught on a Big Ben bad day. 5 of their 10 picks came in that game alone. They've lost to the JETS! Got smoked by Tenn and LA. Their run D is terrible which is why Marcell was acquired. I'm not hating on Jax, there 's a lot of young talent on that teams D and it helps playing in that division as well. Bortles will continue to drag that team down when he be forced to carry them, and it will happen.
  6. I would guess because if we kept him on and he got another failed drug test he would see a 10 game suspension. If you think it was hard trading him while clear how hard would it be to trade him on a 10 game vacation? It's not like a trade wipes out any suspensions. Jax took the contract, that was the main objective. Time to move on.
  7. Who did the Seattle game last year? Now that was bad!!!
  8. True. I was looking at it from an " off the field" perspective. Glad to hear he got his head right.
  9. Maurice Clarett? A healthy Matthews, DT, Pryor and Z. Jones and Streater back in a week all of the sudden doesn't look bad and would be an improvement for what could be a playoff push. Oh, and give Reilly a shot as well darn it.
  10. ---------Agree∆∆∆∆∆∆ And TB. We need more pressure up front to take the burden off our secondary.
  11. I see only Hyde, possibly T. White. Clay was on his way before the injury. Haushka, maybe?
  12. I can see Belicheat pulling off a Bobby Wagner for James White and a 6th from the Hawks. They always seem to pull off some ridiculous one sided trade when their in need.
  13. Seems like we say this every week for every game. Biggest game? No. It will go a long way in determining if this team is a viable playoff team. Who would have thought the Bills roster as constructed would be competing 7 weeks into the season with 4 wins. I'm sure they would have taken the depth of positions like WR and LB a lot more seriously.
  14. God no!! He's awful and has no heart for the game. Got paid and checked out. Sadly, he's most likely better than what's left on the roster. But without competent safety help he's useless and Poyer is out.
  15. --------------- Starting WR? Statistically? Probably not. But I have no doubt he'll turn it around. He has the talent and game tape to back it up. He just needs a 7 catch 80-100 yard game to break out of this funk.
  16. -------------Considering the quality of their still players and the points we left on the board coupled with how bad the D was at times it's a miracle they won that game. Perhaps the culture is changing along with our luck.
  17. The Dolphins are in no position to overlook no team. Their D is good but still have many flaws and are fortunate to have 4 wins thus far. Don't be surprised if the Ravens win.
  18. It's just his way he motivates himself. He's been solid as a rookie but does get beat on occasion as most CB's do. Case in point he got beat on that Evans TD though he had good coverage but then comes through big time with the punch out of the ball and fumble recovery. But he only remembers getting beat cause that's how his mentality is wired. The guy is so technically sound it takes a perfectly placed ball to beat him as he doesn't have many brain farts.
  19. This game futility has been all on TT. He's had open receivers he can't hit and is throwing too hard and low. His tentative running cost a 1st down and possibly a TD or minimum FG. Awful decision not to throw that ball away and walk with 3. Terrible.
  20. As long as I can remember this team is so BAD!!!! at recovering balls on the ground. Almost like its covered with a deadly virus!
