  1. Could've just put this in the multiple AJ threads, all good though. You'll learn as you get flamed and your rep count goes up. To your point, we'll never know the extent of his injury. I do know this, if I was on the injury list and in line for my final contract would I rush back to a winless team that just benched my QB that I'm in sync with? Maybe a change of scenery to a competitor would of helped the healing process but it was not to be. Maybe a target for us in the off-season though this upcoming draft appears to be WR deep.
  2. Pretty sure he played in the Philly game where he had 3 carries for 19 yds. at 6.3 a carry. Seemed pretty healthy and under utilized to me.
  3. Considering everyone knew he was a raw project coming in he is 11-8 as a starter with minimal talent his 1st season and has shown marked improvement in his 2nd as talent gradually gets infused on the roster. I'm not convinced yet of Daboll's abilities as an OC but hey 6-2 is 6-2. This is what the plan was from the beginning. We have been pleasantly surprised with the season so far. Any level headed Bills fan realizes we've been gifted with a favorable schedule and unlike teams of years past they have taken advantage. As the Jets and Browns are coming to realize you can't buy a quality team. Management, draft competence, cap awareness and chemistry builds a champion caliber team. This most likely is why no trade was made last week. This regime will not get looted for a temporary bandaid player. Complete rebuilds take an average of 3 years under stable management. As inconsistent as Josh has been he has shown progression from last year. This is a predominately draft built team with quality mid level FA's sprinkled in. Regardless of how this year finishes I expect more improvement next season and a deeper run. If this group stays the course and if JA continues to progress we may very well see something special the next 5 years.
  4. Didn't they say he's been arrested 3x during the game?
  5. Don't have to convince me. I love me some JP and hope we retain him. If I were McBeane I'd be ironing out a deal right now.
  6. The 3 he got on Mary-ota in the 1st half in Tennessee really helped that tally. ?
  7. SF has plenty of sex appeal! I'm still staying outside the city limits though. ? I hear you though. Last night on SNF they mentioned the opposing QBs against the Pats this year have a combined for a total of 10 wins. Didn't bother mentioning Josh has 6 of them. God forbid. Did we set it up that way? Are the Pats and Niners making apologies? We're 6-2 and trending towards a playoff berth by only Week 9. When was the last time a Bills team can say that?
  8. All I'm saying is the Bills shouldn't be upset about being an underdog against any team currently. They've played to the level of their competition all season and we're starting to see they really aren't that much better, maybe marginally on talent and coaching. I'm glad we're 6-2 because that at least shows we're beating the team we're supposed to. Browns like Philly are a desperate team right now and I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills lost. Upset, yes but not surprised.
  9. What part of their play justifies them being upset being an underdog? At least the Browns can say they beat the Ravens.
  10. This team reminds me of the 2017 Jaguars. Very good D, suspect QB and favorable schedule they rode to a 10-6 record and an appearance in the AFC Championship game. That season they had some stinkers like losses to the Jets, Titans 2x, Cards and 9er's (they weren't good then). Plus some close wins against mediocre teams sprinkled in. Difference is they did have a few quality wins as well. Still feel if we had a different QB instead of Taylor we would have won. Point being, just get to the playoffs. Hopefully a home game. It's a new season, everybody is 0-0 and as the Jags proved 2 years ago anything is possible.
  11. Fire him? I'm hoping they give him an extension and GM duties.
  12. To my count, 5 It was embarrassing and potentially costly.
  13. Actually we did. Hasn't worked out as well for us though. Gore couldn't break a 1 yard run on 5 different chances. And RBs have been running through our D line like ? through a goose.
  14. Wow! You'd think they'd at least mention that out of the 8 wins the QBs have had before this game against the Pats that Josh has 6 of them. Not to mention the only competitive game they've had to this point. Blatant disregard.
  15. Roman would take our RBs and Josh to an elite level.
  16. How the heck are their receivers getting so open? Dabol better be taking notes.
  17. Man he made Van Noy look stupid right there.
  18. IIRC wasn't Brian Cox a Patriot on their 1st SB team? Never cared for Spikes, even when he was on our team. Rodney Harrison was a complete douche. If he and Edelman procreated they would make the perfect anus.
  19. Totally agree with this assessment. If we get by this game we should be home free looking at minimum 10-6.
  20. They should be able to neutralize Baker but I have a Chubby feeling Nick is gonna have a career day if the Run D doesn't tighten up.
  21. That throw on the run was money though.?
