  1. Everyone basically does now. They want the chance for that 14 point swing to score before half and after half
  2. While I don’t discredit the season he had, it was very impressive. I’m still not sold he’s going to stay in the elite category. He makes some incredible throws we’ve never seen before but he also misses a LOT of plays. Every quarterback does. What concerns me with his MVP season is he managed to make it through the entire year with almost his entire offense super healthy. Thats really rare. I have my doubts he’s as elite without his weapons. Hill was hurt one game and put up insane numbers and caught everything down the field. Kelce was a monster all year long. Between Reids scheme and the health on offense I think helped pad some numbers. I don’t see Mahomes being bad, more along the lines of Russel Wilson. I cant see him maintaining these kinds of numbers year after year and being the best quarterback in the league. I also hate that people think if buffalo drafted him he’s going to magically somehow transform this offense. He would of been mediocre here the last two years. Any quarterback would of. You need weapons in this league.
  3. Barkley no doubt deserves all the honors. Giants might of been 0-16 without him they were so bad. His “stats” could of been waaaaaay more if the giants had a clue how to run an offense over there. I only paid attention cause Barkley was on my fantasy team and the guy had so many games where they didn’t give him anywhere near enough touches. Rather they are saving his wear and tear for a year they may contend or whatever they really backed off using him. If that guy ever sees Elliot kinda touches with a decent offensive line he’ll be breaking records for sure. Mayfield had a decent season but I’m not sure why he gets so much love on here? Cleveland has been so bad for so long I feel like mayfield is getting too much credit for the turnaround. Their other guys helped as much if not more, Chubb caught fire, Njoku looks like he’s gonna be a decent tight end, Landry made tons of plays for them as much as I hate to say it, garret looks unblockable. They have quite a bit of young and hungry talent. Not dogging on mayfield he played quite well but the team was the reason for success where as Barkley was similar to Allen carrying the whole offense on his back some games
  4. I never understood the mock stuff. It’s like playing the lotto. The odds are so insane of any of these things going down. I cant get into this stuff much until at least after the combine. Not that I put much stock in the combine but that’s when things start shaping up
  5. I agree I thought he played quite well. When healthy which wasn’t much this season he had good pressures consistently
  6. I would not personally want him. Might get flamed for it but I’d rather just keep Trent Murphy. Same player to me only ziggy would cost a lot more
  7. I see zero harm in keeping McCoy and letting him finish out his contract year. With that said they do need to add some talent to the position and they could easily grab a decent back in say the 5th and ease him in to take over for McCoy. Now dropping top dollar for say Bell or Hunt I would think is silly, to me anyways those are not elite runners and more scheme specific guys who had success in their former teams scheme. I don’t think bell has the same success on say Arizona or Miami. That would be a waste of resources in my opinion. If shady had multiple years left I would probably want him out after next season regardless but it doesn’t hurt to keep him this year. If people think he’s just done and ready to retire that’s insanity. He has some gas left in the tank but he’s not a top 10-15 running back anymore for sure
  8. The conspiracy theorists may hate it but I think it should only be able to be challenged or reviewed if the officials call for it, like they get in their huddle, Jim says “I didn’t see it the blonde in row 2 has a huge rack” frank says “yeah I was looking at her too” billy says “I was looking for my inhaler I’m winded” then they can decide they need a better look at the play. In all seriousness there’s a lot of plays that happen so fast and so many things for officials to watch for I would rather they be able to decide they didn’t get a good look at the play and review it rather than coaches be able to As for that saints game, I think it’s kinda babyish to see people upset over that one play. The refs did what a lot of us asked that game, they let them play. Both sides got away with murder more than once, the officials for that game really decided to let the teams play and stay out of it. The saints got away with a lot of stuff as well, including the play clock that’s been widely mentioned how many times they ran plays at 00 on the clock. I was cheering for both teams since I can’t stand NE or KC I just want an NFC team to win it and I can cheer for Brees or Woods whoever made it in. But the PI was interference but I actually respect the refs for keeping the whistle in their pocket. They let both teams play hard all game they can’t just decide to change the way they call the game at the end.
  9. You can only fill so many spots. Bodine knows the offense and played at a decent level. It’s not like he was a giant liability or something out there. Was he? You’re confident it’s easy to find a starting and backup center in free agency and the draft? Along with how many other starters? Backups? What are the chances you pay someone 3-5 million for 3-5 years in free agency and they are worse than Bodine? My point isn’t you keep players just for the sake of keeping them cause you have money, the point is you cut players after you have the replacements not before. That’s bad business in my opinion. Opening hopes before you’ve filled any. If they sign say Paradis and still draft another center then sure you can let Bodine go.
  10. This is my feeling on it, the best teams draft and develop talent. If you have a stud quarterback and surround him with hungry guys wanting to make a name for themselves and get better there will be some success.
  11. I can never understand with how many holes the team has already why so many are cut happy. It’s not our money, they have more cap than they can probably spend and why would you want more holes? Bad enough we have starter needs already to fill which is insanely hard as is, why create more depth holes? Bodine certainly isn’t an elite center but he’s more than serviceable and that contract is dirt cheap for a player who can start when needed. What’s the harm in him playing out this year under that salary? We have seen how much it sucks to have street free agent pickups mid season come in and start
  12. This is silly.. They let BOTH teams play all game. They were not calling all kinds of penalties for BOTH teams. I watched as a fan since I didn’t care who won but I wanted whoever won the win the super bowl. New Orleans got away with quite a few penalties as well
  13. I for one am super happy the game news is over a non call as opposed to a bad call. They let those guys play all game long, not fair to single out 1-2 plays when the saints got away with a lot too. It was PI. No doubt about it. I’m happy the refs didn’t ruin that game. They should take notes and let teams play more like that.
  14. That’s quite a raise for one season. Well I guess it’ll be two seasons when he gets it. I am still not 100% sold he’s a yearly mvp candidate or going to be elite, but I will admit he’s better than I have given him credit for. I would still like to see how he performs if hill or kelce went down a few weeks.
  15. At one of the easiest positions to fill with ease on the team I’m not into putting assets into possible issue players. Bell and Hunt can go cash in somewhere else
  16. God bless ya... It’s a loss for me either way since I hate both teams. NFC cheering for me.. I can’t bet on KC or NE
  17. He’s the perfect missing link for this offense. He can make plays and stretch the field. Dont care about his age or what’s left in the tank. Signing him doesn’t change the draft strategy or free agency at all. But he could be a huge add to the offense for a year or two
  18. The closer it gets to the draft the more the run on quarterbacks will go. In a league where you have to have a franchise quarterback plenty of teams will jump in. Although 9 isn’t ideal it’s not a bad spot as others have said with Denver behind. Best case scenario only one quarterback is taken in the top 8, then someone will sell that farm to jump in front of Denver and we can fleece Elway for even more picks if they don’t add someone in free agency
  19. Nope.. I want a extra 2 this year or a 1 next year on top of both those 1’s Gruden can afford it
  20. The only way you’re ever seeing gronk in buffalo is when WWE comes to town and he has to perform ??
  21. This is what I was expecting. I would add I think they will be looking to add some players via trade but not Antonio brown level players. I expect Beane to be active on the phones seeing who is available for some trades. Going to be a lot of upset folks on here when we’re not signing the top 5 free agents for each position we’re weak at
