With the emergence of some of these young receivers and the progress they are showing not sure why we would fire the receivers coach? And why Culley? Cause his resume doesn’t look good? We have seen some progress from Allen which is what we want, so fire his coach because why? He’s never coached a quarterback room before? Seems to be doing something right

Man I hate seeing Allen run so much and take the beatings but dang he’s exciting with the ball out there. Can’t believe such a big dude can move that well and have the arm strength he has -

Definitely cheering for another monster Allen game and shutdown defense. 5 sacks from Hughes and picks for white and Poyer and Hyde. Let’s go Buffalo!!! -
How Beane can turn the Bills into contenders in 2019
Rc2catch replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So basically the article says to sign/trade/draft all the top talent available. Should be easy doubt anyone else with tons of cap space want any of them. Sounds kinda like our posters here. Sign me up for AJ Green for a 3rd and 4th round picks. Eifert is elite for 2 games a year. All that said I’m all for adding talent to the roster. Gonna be a crazy few months -

Why do a mock before the season is over? Before free agency? Before the combine? Love may blow out his acl working out for teams then POOF your mock is in the trash lol im just playin but seriously.. too early for all this to be posted on here. We got games to play and players needing evaluating

I gotta think that Gurley can carry the offense for a win in the cold. But Trubisky has those games similar to allen where he scrambles and runs like a madman and just makes it work

Josh Allen has become the leader of this football team
Rc2catch replied to Rufridr101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn’t crown him the leader of the team yet for sure.. But I’d give him maybe the “spark plug” crown. He does seem to command respect and he for sure seems to get the team fired up -
The way I see it, next year is his final year of his contract. You still try to sign/draft a #1 tight end. Until someone takes that role there’s zero reason to cut clay. Nobody is going to trade for him. There’s just no reason unless we HAD to get rid of him which we don’t. We may not like the contracts of guys like clay, Murphy or shady but it’s pointless to cut them or trade them for junk. Absolute best case scenario next season is younger players we acquire from draft/free agency at those positions push for the starting jobs making the 3 mentioned above either pricy backups or rotational pieces. Its not like they need the cap savings next season. Someone like clay could do just fine as a rotational player or spot starter for an injury. Gotta think they want more production from the tight end spot in this offense and will focus on improving that

Kelvin Benjamin's Replacement: Take 2
Rc2catch replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t know how much panther football you watch, I don’t think I would want Funchess. I have never been a fan of his there. Theres likely to be other free agents available too once teams start trimming for cap space. I wouldn’t hate it if they signed him he’s still young and can possibly get better, but he’s gonna be expensive -
Bills fans thoughts on our meltdown this year?
Rc2catch replied to Ice bowl 67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Pack seem to have all the pieces on offense to have success. And this year Aaron Jones looks like a good running back which was always the knock that they couldn’t run the ball. I’d say they don’t run enough for success but I haven’t watched more than 3-4 games of theirs this season. As others said I’d say it’s more the division has gotten better and putting too much on Rodgers. I like Pettine as a coordinator, but only so much you can do with injured or limited talent. Trading away Dix was a mind blower for me, when there wasn’t anyone even half established to replace him. -
The illegal block in the back seems to be the biggest killer, especially for the bills. Every dang punt it’s called it seems. I don’t support being able to crush someone from behind when they aren’t looking but if you even touch them it’s a penalty. Holding and illegal block have to make up the majority of calls on punts, gotta be a way to modify it some

Brady don’t look good this year. He isn’t the same as years past. Gotta think this is his last chance at another ring. It’s been said before but his game is looking ugly this year. With the weapons they have 3-4 years ago he’d be league MVP, this year they are a run team. If the run game stalls they look ugly.

He has shown a weird knack for eluding guys I would not expect such a big quarterback to have. I’m extremely impressed with his running skills.

Trade for Sean Lee in the off-season
Rc2catch replied to Rufridr101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lol so cut Murphy cause he’s expensive and injured a lot to sign a guy who is a concussion away from retirement.. love this place some days. Let us know how it works out on madden for you -
Bills have released Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes
Rc2catch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Happy they made the move. KB has been terrible all year, Holmes was supposed to be a special teams ace and that’s been the worst unit. Youth movement continues on -
I did read it, but you’re creating a hole to fill right back in. What do they need the extra money for? Keeping him doesn’t stop them from signing any free agents or drafting anyone. It doesn’t hurt the team at all the keep him around even if it’s rotational depth.

I’m sure it’s a little difficult to discuss now even in office for them, as you’ll need to see who is re-signed and who are surprise cap casualty cuts. I fully expect a lot of “who is that guy” signings along with some mid tier guys. I don’t think even with the cap space they’ll target the top available guys. We need a bulk of signings in free agency so I expect a lot to be signed, just not the top dollar guys. They seem to favor low key guys who respond to being coached up. Of course maybe that’s changed some now with foundation pieces they seem to have to build on.
