There is ZERO chance they would give up the compensation to acquire him. Seriously, it is going to take multiple 1st round picks or an elite level player plus high picks. No way buffalo is giving up the assets needed to get him.

I definitely agree it’s time to add some vets to the young core, not sure how Houston fits here though. His pass rushing skills are still above average. If they can see him as a fit and be able to maximize his rushing the passer and not expect him to cover much I would be happy to have him on the team

That’s a really good trade for the jets. For the remaining years on his contract and basically swapping late picks that’s a great deal for them

Oops I mean Metcalf then we go heavy on defense the rest of the draft and hype how our offensive line will be much better after a year of continuity and adding spencer long to add depth. Then Beane saying the year 2 of starting leap for Croom is going to be epic

It can go a million different ways.. We don’t have a lot of picks. You can say 10 all day and be right, but that’s equal to 4 decent players if you get lucky

We have extra late picks. Raiders currently have 4 picks in the top 40 of the draft. Thats a huge difference in talent. Our extra picks more than likely are practice squad level players. Maybe you get a decent hit on one of them.

I get it, but I don’t think they’re as far off as you’re making it. Pass rush fixes the defense pretty fast. One rookie and one free agent can transform that whole defense. I can understand not having faith in their front office though

If the raiders stand pat and use all 3 first rounders this year they could very well add some premium blue chip players and turn the whole thing around. 4 picks in the top 40 will land you some impact players Not saying they will, but they easily could. They also have like 60-70 million in cap space too I think to spend.

I would disagree. Neither team is exactly in good shape, but the bills are still quite a few playmakers away from being one of the worst teams in the league. Raiders are loaded with picks and similar to us not sure if they’re gonna get good quarterback play or bad play.

Why would they though? We haven’t won in ages. Not considered contenders. Media ignores us. That isn’t good for ego players which many of the top players are. Gotta win in this league, especially for teams like buffalo. The casual fans don’t even know were in the league. I live in Tennessee and most titan fans are just casual, they see my bills hat and think it’s the college team. I was in shock when I moved here how many people have no clue of the bills being a professional team, and anytime I say I’m from New York they automatically assume nyc and have no clue where buffalo or Niagara Falls is. In the end though the bills need to win, you can’t be a losing team for 20 years and expect the national media to report on you and top players who want to come help turn the franchise into a contender

The only thing with AB is everyone knew that they had to trade him. Which kills the compensation. His value was at an all time low given his stupid mouth the last few weeks and the Steelers GM saying they were trading him. If it goes through I’m really hoping it’s a round 3 with a couple players attached. Maybe ivory and Zay or something. I have a fear it’s the #1 though.

I hate the move if it ends up being true. Hate it even more if they gave up their 1. Didnt want them to add “that guy” this early in Allen’s career. You know the guy, the one who demands the ball and ruins joshs ability to read the field cause he’s gonna look in his direction first every single play. Hard to argue against adding one of the few elite receiver talents in the game. Nonetheless this could be the biggest move in bills history. Very ballsy if Beane did make the trade
