  1. I fully expect at least 10-6 given the influx of talent to this roster... But the only way they take that step is Allen progressing. The key in my opinion is we are going to see a nasty run game this year. I expect all 4 top backs to see playing time. McCoy keeps dancing Gore will get more carries, if he slows down they’ll sprinkle in Yeldon and at some point we’re gonna see Singletary, ya know the slow guy... he’ll be out there juking people out of their cleats too. I 100% expect Daboll to run a nasty run game mixed with play action
  2. I think the receiving group looks amazing honestly. They all bring their own unique thing to the team. I do think it’s gonna be Brown Foster Beasley Zay Roberts then whoever wins 6. But I don’t think it’ll be McKenzie Roberts is our returner, but I think he’ll also get used on the offense similar to McKenzie last year with jet sweeps and screens etc etc that kinda “weapon” The rest will surely have a heck of a battle for that one spot.
  3. Let’s try this in 2-3 years... Ya know after they actually play in the league. i like the Singletary pick, but I don’t know jack squat about most of those guys other than some highlight footage
  4. This really shouldn’t be a question.. Beane absolutely is picking up the option or extending him long term unless like someone else said they really don’t like him. He’s improved every year, and he is young enough that maybe he hasn’t peaked yet. Either way it’s zero risk really to keep him around. I’m in the crowd of sign him up for a team friendly 3-5 years extension while his value is low, just in case with the added talent on defense and offense he produces at a higher level which can skyrocket his price next year. Beane says he’ll use the money to lock up the current talent on the roster this is the first real kinda test along with jerry what they do. Beane seems to have a knack for getting players/agents to sign contracts which gives buffalo a lot of flexibility to get out of those deals with little penalty so I would not be against signing Lawson 3-5 years longer the way Beane structures contracts
  5. I’m taking Fitz 100% You know where he went to school? That man is smart. In all seriousness I would take Fitz over the others as backup, as he’s the most capable to come out of the pen and get you some wins in an injury situation. Not to mention the guy has played for 1000 coaches and teams now he knows how to work a playbook and offense and apparently is quite good in the locker room
  6. I have seen him play, he’s had a couple decent seasons... Just don’t want them to sign him up long term. So do Murphy and Zo, when healthy. As I said above I just don’t want a long term deal with him. A one year prove it is ok, anything more is a waste in my opinion as they can probably match Ansahs production in the rotation
  7. They really hit some potential homeruns on some of those late picks and UDFA guys. I am not looking forward to cut days they’re going to have to part with a lot of talented players. I can already see the Brandon Reily treatment on some of these receivers on the board if they’re cut or sent to the practice squad. Kind of cool to have so many options and guys to root for success now
  8. After this season there will be millions of options between draft and free agency. And of course there could be options before the season depending on cuts and practice squads. I wouldn’t hate the signing, unless they gave out a multi year deal.
  9. I don’t see what he brings to the table that sets him apart from Zo, Murphy and Lawson. They can get the same production from their rotation that they’d get from him. I’d rather see them grab a younger guy hungry for a shot like philips last year than spend millions on Ziggy. Best chance is a one year prove it deal and he actually stays healthy and makes an impact, I would hate to see a multi year deal though
  10. I can’t believe this guys still being talked about this much on here, receiver was not a huge need and definitely not as much as some make it out to be. D.K. might very well turn into a great receiver but they just didn’t want him. Doesn’t make it a bad decision, we’re already breaking in a ton of new players on offense. If they feel we’re a receiver away from a serious run I’m sure Beane will pay the price to get one. The team is setup nicely, to the point they can spend a lot of draft capital and make a huge move if they need to or someone becomes available. This season is not going to make or break on a rookie receiver
  11. This is the stuff that is wrong on this board. We are not pro scouts, to discuss or debate things is one thing, but stating them as fact is silly. You cannot possibly KNOW he is at best average in the nfl before he ever plays a down. Plenty of guys come out of those rounds as solid contributors and you’re judging they lost the draft off 2 picks? Or the fact they gave up extra chances at hits on low picks to get those 2? You can’t lose a draft before the players see the field.
  12. No not necessarily. He can have a worse year than last year and sneak into the playoffs and suck it up ala tyrod
  13. I picked the first one, but even more important than record and playoffs is Allen’s growth, I would rather see him take the needed steps to be an elite quarterback than back into the playoffs as a run heavy team with minimal quarterback play
  14. I wouldn’t be opposed to moving a player and late pick for Rudolph. It would have to be someone the coaches think can’t make the team though, Croom, One of the offensive linemen or something. I wouldn’t touch the defense or add anyone I think they’re going to be lights out as is. We keep stressing pass rush but with the addition of Oliver and Hughes playing for a new contract I think we’ll be good there. Between Murphy and Lawson and Zo I think we’ll be pleasantly surprised at the rush they generate
  15. Anderson is just fine as QB3, let him stay on the practice field throwing balls to receivers and running offenses as opposed to standing with a clipboard. He’s there for more than just the quarterbacks, who do you think is practicing with the rookies and showing them the playbook and where to line up and make adjustments? I’m sure if he just wanted to coach they would of already brought him back as a coach. He’s better off as one of the guys and an equal as opposed to an authority figure
  16. LT Dawkins LG Teller, Feliciano C Morse RG Spain RT Nsekhe I actually don’t think Ford is a lock to start, and there’s no rush for him to, this coaching staff loves a veteran and definitely likes the kids to earn their spots. If he starts it’s because he’s already approaching all pro status as a rookie
  17. Fans are hungry... Who we cutting trying to add receivers and ends?? This is a tough team to crack now. Not sure what I’m missing but the squad looks pretty impressive to me.
  18. I like them all equally. 5 players all who can make an impact this season if they’re needed to play. Obviously Oliver has the elite potential but all the guys picked have super high ceilings
  19. Nothing I read says spikes at all.. like not even close. Did you just pick a random name?
  20. They’re thinking all out battle, cream rises to the top and best man wins across the line. Morse is the only 100% given for his position. The beauty of it all is most if not all the free agents can play multiple spots. Going to be a difficult cut down this year as some pretty good players won’t make this team
  21. Stop stat reading.. my goodness.. The game is played on the field not in stat sheets. The guy we’re getting isn’t the guy on the stat page. He’s fast, can block and catch, if he’s utilized in the game plan he can be a HUGE weapon.
  22. What the crap, they picked a receiving tight end who isn’t a blocker? I kid I kid, great pick. That’s the shifty move tight end we needed
  23. I like the Singletary pick, short dude and defenders can’t see him behind the line, so his quick juke frees him up
  24. Don’t look at the numbers, go watch him play. Ignore his height and weight and 40 times. Just watch his tape
