  1. We haven’t even played a game yet. This is a concern not an issue. There’s a reason we signed 1000 linemen and have multiple players who can play multiple positions for scenarios just like this. Concussions are always concerning but in today’s game everyone gets them. I don’t think there’s a team in the league who wouldn’t of signed Morse, maybe not everyone pays as much as we did but that’s the nature of the beast
  2. I’m actually gonna go Indy over Dallas. Think Reich can really get the most from that team and they are extremely talented across the board. I hate the cowboys but I think with their weak division they’ll have a good record and some home games
  3. I think there’s enough depth to get a consistent rush this year. Between the Phillips boys, now Oliver, Hughes and Murphy.. and I know Shaq Lawson “can’t get sacks” but he’s actually my pick to have the best season since he’s playing for a huge payday. We can always throw Lorax in to help, Milano can get pressure when asked and edmunds absolutely has some pass rush chops. With a strong secondary there’s zero reason these guys should not get plenty of pressure
  4. With all his injuries he’s an old 30 something now. Hate to trade for an older tackle who is super expensive and injured a ton. I don’t follow the redskins much and am too lazy to google but I know the last couple years Trent is always hurt missing games or playing half games or still playing hurt
  5. Just my opinion but I think he may move a lineman for a later pick like he did with Carolina for that worthless tackle we had. Truthfully I don’t think anyone else has any real trade value. Nobody is going to trade for McCoy. If he’s not washed up he should stay. Even if he is washed up he’s been a bit of a leader here and you risk hurting the locker room which McDermott considers extremely important. With the 4 backs or even 3 if you consider Yeldon gone, plenty of carries to mix around for those 3.
  6. Plus they just gave him an extension didn’t they? Maybe I’m wrong I thought I read they added a year or two to his deal. Wow that was really good. Seriously if I typed it up my “idea” for how the season would play out would be eerily similar to what you typed
  7. I think zeke will sit out longer. His health and impact is FAR greater than Gordon. He has more leverage in my opinion. Not saying he’s the better back but he’s definitely seemed more durable and reliable. We’ve seen Elliot dominate and takeover games at times where Gordon to me just seems kinda just above average and stat stuffing when rivers is dominating a game. I think the chargers could replace Gordon’s production much easier. But the cowboys are a complete cap disaster too. Guess we will see who budges first
  8. It was a magical season mahomes just had. I’d like to add Andy Reid is an offensive scheme genius as well. Mahomes had an entire year to sit and learn. Then stepped into an already elite offense with possibly the best set of weapons in the league. And the craziest part to his magical season is almost everyone stayed healthy and played almost every game. I don’t want to discredit what he accomplished however the hype that he’s already a top quarterback has blown out of control. If buffalo drafted him, he would of been thrown to the wolves almost immediately or fans would of rioted and we probably would of seen a bit of a different quarterback and stat line. Not to mention the possibility of getting shell shocked and loss of any and all confidence. KC is an interesting team to watch this season to see if they can duplicate the success from last year. I am sure Reid has cooked up a ton of new formations and shifts. If mahomes can throw for 4000 and 40 this season I will jump on that top 5 quarterback bandwagon. I’m still a little skeptical of him though.
  9. I agree Gilmore took a ton of flaming in his time in buffalo. Some deserved he sometimes had the look he wasn’t even trying or paying attention. Reminded me of a kid playing outfield in baseball chasing butterflies lol. When Gilmore is on though he’s an elite level corner. He showed that here that’s why the pats paid him. Belichick knew he could get more focus out of him. And it was money well invested for their defense
  10. These guys are always tricky about this stuff. On paper that projection don’t look bad, but they always throw us curveballs. Might see Marcus Murphy sneak in as the 4th back and backup returner and McKenzie cut. Lot of different ways it can go. They seem to have a very high value on special teams which I don’t for the most part. Kickoffs are basically dead and punt returning is not what it used to be. I expect a curve or two with the final roster that leaves us scratching our heads.
  11. I liked his game in Green Bay. Big loss for them even with all their additions. He will be a good pickup hopefully in the NFC.
  12. Appreciate the sarcasm. I had a little paragraph typed out being a cocky jerk back towards you but I’ll choose the high road and just say I’ll agree to disagree. Enjoy your day sir/ma’am
  13. I watched most of his games last year, he’s not the same QB anymore. Stats stats stats... google away. There’s a lot more to games than the stats. Brady can’t throw deep anymore. He was dangerous cause he would kill you on short range and dump offs but you had to respect his deep shots down the field. His running back had 8-900 of those yards. They made the playoffs and were a good team last year because they were a pretty dominant run team. They have completely transformed from years ago.
  14. The Pats are 100% a running team now, at this stage of his career Brady is a glorified game manager. Butttttttt he can turn it up sometimes in crucial spots. For the first time I actually think they’ll fall off this season.
  15. Not from me. Unless buffalo wants to go get a superstar kind of receiver I’d prefer to stay away from everyone else. Hurns had one decent season when Bortles threw 50 times a game and Allen Robinson was healthy. Other than that he’s been completely unreliable
  16. I don’t think I would like abolishing the divisions and just having 2 conferences. But they are waaaaaaaaay overdue and realigning the divisions. Personally I don’t care if they keep us with New England but I’d rather get rid of Miami. Makes no sense to have them in this division. A lot of divisions don’t make sense regionally anymore
  17. What an ego.. I can see him doing an ocho cinco kinda thing later this on. Probably change his name to “best ever” so the announcers have to call him that
  18. Not sure what they got going on at OBD, they just signed another offensive lineman for whatever reason
  19. I don’t think we sweep the fish and jets. Got to guess at least a loss of those. But got to expect some wins we wouldn’t expect on paper either
  20. Without playing a down there’s zero question the bills line is better. That’s probably going to be the difference maker for both teams records. Going to be hard for Darnold to throw or Bell to run behind their line. Defenses are pretty evenly matched and stacked for both teams though.
  21. I can get the points and debate for the top 4 but nobody who watches or follows football would ever agree crowder is better than Beasley. That’s gotta be a joke right
  22. Gore has been one of the most durable players in the league for a very long time. It’s not like he’s our top guy for the position. He’s a luxury and dependable and he’ll be there if we need him later in the season. Like a clutch pinch hitter in baseball. More than likely just giving the guy a little break and getting the rookie some extra reps
  23. This is my absolute favorite thing before preseason. I am genuinely excited to read these things each year. Not so much for the bills as the whole league. I agree ours last year wasn’t that good. Oh this year though they have some fun ammo though. After reading the cardinals that’s hard to beat. Great job deadspin
