He has shown he can make plays, problem now is there’s a lot more talent around him so his mistakes shine a little brighter than last years. I don’t think he’s a cut candidate at all but I think he’s going to have to earn every snap he sees come week 1 and on.

Then I would say hello to a losing record. Hes not the worst guy in the league, but he is extremely limited and if defenses are studying him week in week out we’re probably in some serious trouble

To be fair without the hold Allen is probably hit before the ball can come out. When he’s shifting around the pocket there’s gonna be lots of holds

This was the guy I wanted buffalo to target months ago before gore and Yeldon. I’m a really big fan of dukes game. He’s never been given much to do besides receiving and he’s really good at it, but the guy can run it too. And of course he’s got a very team friendly contract. I think the browns will miss him and he’ll be the lead back in Houston before long. Miller is always hurt and not always very effective.

I’m definitely watching the receiver and tight end positions. I’m not as concerned with a lot of the other spots. The O-line I expect the best 5 to start the season hopefully and it’s gonna take time to gel regardless. Defense should be top notch. Run game should be awesome regardless of which back is in. The pass catchers though is going to be an intense battle of reps

This is definitely going to be a true committee backfield if singletary is good enough to get snaps in the regular season. Ride the hot hand each game

I fully agree on this, while simultaneously working in singletary with little pressure on the rookie when McCoy gets gassed

I don’t see a loss as a big deal, unless it’s just a total meltdown like against the ravens. That was demoralizing. As long as it’s a close hard fought game I don’t think a loss kills the season or anything. Of course I am expecting a decent win and Darnold to throw multiple picks and bell to be under 100 scrimmage yards

I’m with you on this one. Nobody on the team can replicate the impact Hughes puts on a game. Plenty of guys who would be missed and their backups wouldn’t be able to play at the same level but Hughes and his speed rush is on a whole different level from anyone else on defense.

We all knew when he was signed again he’s not very durable. The beauty of all the free agent signings to pair with the young talent is we’re not depending on these guys for 16 games. As soon as I seen Gaines signed I was hoping to get 8-10 game appearances from him. Which is enough for him to have an impact

I’m on the 6-10 or 10-6 train depending on Allen and injuries
