Found him: https://images.app.goo.gl/ce1YS3KjzaG9ovcA7 just a quiet dude who wants to chill. Let’s honor him and/or just let him chill.

It's sad to see this guy turn into a punchline. Clearly he still loves some of our favorite players and he had all the talent in the world. Try not to forget: - His brother was murdered during Dareus's time on the Bills. - His father died when he was 6. - His mother was too sick to care for him and his siblings, so he lived with his coach, who was later killed in a car crash. - His mother then died when he was 20. It's tough not to hate him after he underperformed such a big contract, but the guy had a tough life and it clearly got the best of him. Important to keep that in mind, because I'm only seeing fat jokes and hate in the thread.

Giants prepared to release CB Bradberry (now released)
Rigotz replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fast forward a few weeks: -Fully healthy Tre White -Likely the best #2 CB we’ve had in McDermott era -Dane Jackson as depth -Taron Johnson Where does Bradberry fit in? Salary cap is a limited resource… I would rather get a cheaper vet CB and save the rest in case we get an injury in camp… or even use that money on a Dawson Knox / Jordan Poyer extension. Bigger needs, in my opinion. -
Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia
Rigotz replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was reading The Draft Network’s scouting report on James Cook to see why he was ranked so low. They only scouted 3 games but noted that 2021 vs Clemson was his “worst game” … so I watched highlights of that game and came away… impressed! He broke a huge run, made some great pass block reads, made something out of nothing on several well-fitted runs. See the video below — I walked away from this very encouraged, given the scouts hated this game. Maybe we stole one with Cooks because he was unfairly labeled a change of pace back? -
Rd 6, Pick 180 (1): Punter Matt Araiza, San Diego State
Rigotz replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m loving this thread. On a serious note, Punt God has two added benefits outside of punting: - He’s a backup FG kicker if something happened to Bass mid-game (a luxury most teams don’t have. - He’s easily the fastest punter in the league if we want to do a trick play. Looks like someone doesn’t know the rules. Teams can protect up to 3 players on the practice squad. -
If, hypothetically Beane was right, and the Cowboys were going to take Elam…. holy crap what an amazing call. Elam was the best corner available and Booth clearly didn’t pass medical evals. For those not worried about Booth’s sports hernia surgery, it’s the same surgery that kept Kolby Listenbee from ever playing a snap with the Bills after they drafted him.

Are you referring to KC, who traded their best offensive weapon and used the picks on defense? Just making sure…
-
Its incredible how everybody laughs at comp picks, but then complains when we trade away a 4th.

A few of these comments feel like “wrong Josh” and I’m here for it
-
Would love to see it, but I can't see Ed betting against himself and locking in a below-market deal right now... and if he's not willing to do that, it doesn't make sense to do the deal from Beane's side.

Please use the search bar on the top right corner of the message board. There are maybe ten thousand topics on this. The difference is they add some content other than just "lets talk about Tremaine Edmunds." Pick one of those and just reply to the thousand page thread.

Would you still like JA if he was on another team?
Rigotz replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Several of my friends who are Jets and Giants and Patriots fans like him. He’s a genuinely likeable dude. We’ll see what happens if he wins a couple SBs, but for now, he’s awesome and there’s no reason not to like him. -
This was a really good idea in 2019

So.... I don't know if he's leaving out this information intentionally to prove his story, but it's pretty blatant. #1) Tre White was drafted in 2017 at #27 overall. We had decent depth behind him. That contributed to why the Bills focused on other needs. #2) Tre White played all 16 games his rookie year. He played 98.6% of the snaps his rookie year. #3) See above. McDermott did the exact thing with a Corner that Buscaglia said he doesn't do.

So... your assumption is that because a third star WR hasn't come forward publicly and said "I want a new deal" ... he's not going to get one? I'll bet your house that he gets one. Stay tuned on this thread when it happens and I'll be happy to feed you some crow.

Deebo missing voluntary practices, wants a new deal: https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player-news/10711781?category=headlines AJ Brown missing voluntary practices, wants a new deal: https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player-news/10711811?category=headlines For the "this is why you don't pay Diggs now" crowd in response to Poyer's actions. This is why you DO pay Diggs now. He's happy, Josh is happy, and it was going to happen regardless.

Buddy… this is either a desperate cry for attention, or you really know nothing about this team. I think you should delete this thread while you can.

Am I the only one who hasn't completely given up on Zack Moss?
Rigotz replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unfortunately, it's this. He's not big enough or fast enough to compensate for his lack of field awareness and vision. He plays with toughness, which I love, and is great in pass pro, but he's 5'9'' 205 ... so he can't just run into guys and move them. He runs a 4.65, so he's not out-running anyone and he's a single-cut runner. He's great at breaking tackles for his size, but he's not elusive, so it's important to have GREAT vision, patience, and balance. He doesn't have that. So ... what part of his game is elite, that makes up for all the other missing attributes? Will the lightbulb go off and all of a sudden he has great vision and patience? I just don't see it, but then again, I think the O-line makes the RB so if our O-line clears lanes, any RB including Moss will look like they "took a step." Edit -- I was curious to see if this was always an issue with him and apparently it has been for a while (2020): https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/zack-moss/VTjtEWlX0s -
Fan Duel ranks the top 10 pro athletes in NY
Rigotz replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you don't think DeGrom belongs on the list, you haven't watched baseball the past 4 years. The CY Young award is given to the best pitcher in the league. It is extremely difficult to win. 2021: Injured after 15 games. At the time he was the best pitcher in the league: 1.08 ERA, 0.554 WHIP, 7-2 Record, 14.3 K/9. 2020: 3rd in Cy Young voting.... 2.38 ERA, 0.956 WHIP, 104 strikeouts (more than any pitcher in the NL). 2019: Cy Young award winner 2018: Cy Young award winner If not the best pitcher in the league, he's easily top 3. I'm not a Mets fan and don't watch much baseball, but I know enough to not embarrass myself with statement like "DeGrom isn't a top 10 NY athlete." -
This was my favorite game ever: https://www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/230907002 Important to remember the storyline. 2002 the Bills had a great offense led by Drew Bledsoe 2003 the Bills kept the same offense, minus Peerless Price, and loaded up on Defense -- Spikes, Milloy, Fletcher, Posey, Sam Adams, Pat Williams, Winfield, Clements. Absolutely demolished the Patriots 31-0. Sam Adams had a pick 6 at 6'4'' 340lbs. We were on the cover of Sports Illustrated the next week. It looked like the 90's Bills were finally back. We know the rest of the story... Josh Reed didn't step up to fill Price's shoes, the O-Line got destroyed and Bledsoe was a statue that couldn't escape the rush. But for that one day, it felt like we were back.

Running Backs drafted in the first round the last 14 years: Najee Harris #24 Travis Etienne #25 Clyde Edwards-Helaire #32 Josh Jacobs #24 Saquon Barkley #2 Rashaad Penny #27 Leonard Fournette #4 Christian McCaffrey #8 Ezekiel Elliott #4 Trent Richardson #3 Doug Martin #31 David Wilson #32 Mark Ingram #28 CJ Spiller #9 Ryan Matthews #12 Jahvid Best #30 Knowshon Moreno #12 Donald Brown #27 Beanie Wells #31 14 years and I see maybe 3 players worth the pick. It's horrible value to go after running backs in the first round and that has been proven time and again.
-
Do we have to pick one in the first round for you to be comfortable at swing tackle? That seems insane when we have zero starting caliber CBs to begin the season and a boat load of other needs.
-
Is this ... sarcasm?
-
So you're OUT on on Brown, the guy we drafted in the 3rd round last year... who started 10 games, and is known to be a developmental prospect.... And you're also OUT on Ryan Bates, who we've seen play a total of 4 games and tangibly made the entire O-line better when he was in, and several other teams tried to sign... Dude. You need to be a little more optimistic in life.
