I hope Tremaine Edmunds has an unbelievable season. Then, I hope we Franchise tag him and trade him for a 2nd-3rd round pick. Or, let him walk and hope he gets top 3 money so we get a 3rd round compensatory pick.

Let's say hypothetically OJ did kill both Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman ... Does he deserve peace? Think about the parents of Nicole and Ron. Think about them, themselves. They never get to spend another day on earth. If this were purely a football thread, I'd say yeah, he's a wonderful football player. But we seem to be talking about his character and his mental state, so I don't particularly hope he's relaxing and happy given what he allegedly did.

Ok… so 4 down linemen, plus Edmunds down… that’s 5 D-Linemen. I assume you would want at least two linebackers (Dodson and Milano) and two Safeties … which leaves two corners. That means you’re taking Taron Johnson off the field. So, you think our best defense is: 5 DL 2 LB: Dodson and Milano 2 CB: Elam and Jackson 2 S: Hyde and Poyer Do you see any issues with that against a team that might want to pass?

So… you think that Edmunds would be an upgrade over Von, Groot, Basham, and Epenesa and we should put him in at 4-3 End … because you’d rather have Dodson, Bernard, or Specter at ILB? Why would we downgrade two positions for absolutely no reason…

I actually don’t think he handled it well. A lot of subtle comments like “it felt like a fluke” and “it was 10-10 if you take away the explosive plays” makes me feel like he still isn’t fully owning the loss. I guess you can’t expect him to be truly humble, but you could feel the internal struggle and his dad and agent hyping him up like “this was their super bowl” probably shows you where his ego comes from. On a related note, I would hate to have a player on the Bills do a postgame show with his dad and agent and air out all his dirty laundry after games.

Personally, I loved beating the Patriots twice last season and not punting either game. This one is fun though because it was the only game on TV, it was the first of the season, and nobody has anything else to talk about for 48 hours.

I really can’t stand comparisons between two different sports. There are 5 guys on the court in Basketball … one guy has way more impact on every game than in Football outside of the QB position. You can literally win a championship with just two incredible guys.

Honestly, would love to see Moss inactive and activate Shakir. However, McDermott isn’t gonna trust Cook to take a big % of snaps until he proves he can handle it … and week 1 he proved that he can’t yet.

I'm trying my best not to think about the expectations or put any undue pressure on the season and just enjoy it. We have a young franchise QB and several other young studs. This won't be our only year. My intent is to enjoy it. Nothing more or less.

To those who are somehow complaining about this contract and saying "we could just get [X player]" How old were you the last time the Bills had a Tight End as good as Dawson Knox? It aint easy signing 25 year old, talented Tight Ends in the open market.

Probably worth noting that Kelce is getting paid $1M more per year at age 32 and his contract grows to $18M per year by age 36. Dawson Knox is 25 years old. Something to consider before you go reach for the tissues, BullBuchanan.

I’ve liked Shenault since he came out of the draft, but I can tell you FOR SURE we wouldn’t want him. He complained a lot about not getting thrown the ball and when he was thrown the ball, he had some terrible concentration drops. Bad locker room guy + drops in critical moments … no thanks. Coming off an All-Pro season where he's currently the 20th highest paid safety at $9.75M/Yr ... You don't think he'd want to be paid at least top 10? Top 10 is $13M/Yr. Harrison Smith is 32 years old and making $16M per year, by the way. All of this is a moot point because Poyer isn't holding out and is fine to play out the season. It would be a panic move and isn't necessary.

I agree that the Bills need a positive distraction prior to the beginning of the season... but is giving a 31 year old Safety a huge raise the best way to do that? Personally, I want to see Poyer play out his final year, then decide. Let's not get desperate when we don't have to.

Just had a random thought… If the Bills cut Araiza, there’s a good chance they could stash him on their practice squad until the details are fully vetted. I doubt another franchise would be willing to put him on their practice squad or active roster, given the horrible optics. If there’s a good enough chance that he DIDNT do this, that might be a preferable options vs keeping him on the active roster.
