Bills ended the season as the #1 team in the NFL based on FPI

Rams - opening game of season Bills / Cowboys most likely
LABILLBACKER replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup....we have the superior QB. They have the mega market. No way it's us. I could see the Bills @ Rams being a MNF game mid season. -
Our defense always seems to come up short in the playoffs
LABILLBACKER replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frazier sucks....always has and always will...he was a terrible HC and half the time McD has to intervene. His conservative philosophy and rotation doesn't work. The Buffalo Bills have historically never had clutch defenses dating back to the 90's SB's. Look what Donald & Miller did last night. And now that we have maybe the best qb to ever play in Buffalo, we have to depend on dumb & dumber to find a real defense. -

I'll never believe in analytical nonsense again. Our legendary #1 defense has given up 80 points to KC in the last 2 playoff games. Taylor shreds us for 5 tds. Our coaches probably get a -8.6 for situational awareness. Any team that loses to the Jags doesn't deserve squat. Josh Allen is the only thing at 8.6 -
Rams Team Building Strategy Will It Be Duplicated or a Rareity
LABILLBACKER replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
As far as giving up 1st & 2nd round picks for proven impact players, I say absolutely. But that still doesn't navigate us away from foolish coaching. -
What needs to be done to get us here?
LABILLBACKER replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kupp can get double teamed like tonight and still win the mvp. Diggs getting doubled in KC disappeared. Love Stefon but next season is the time to step it up. -
Bills will win the Superbowl next year
LABILLBACKER replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree. Josh & Co. give me hope. McDermott and his in game coaching terrifies me. -
One fricken win for Bills nation. I don't care if it's the 10 year plan or sell your soul and all your picks to go ALL IN. Just one fricken Championship. Josh is way too talented to go the Marino route.

An elite pass rusher A speed receiver Win the close games Better situational head coaching -
Not surprised at all with that outcome. Brady and the home team Bucs winning the SB. Followed by the home team Rams and their 5.5 billion dollar showcase stadium. All those late flags were expected. The NFL has choreographed outcomes before. Nothing to see here.

That basically was the Super Bowl.
-
Number 1 picks that usually bust. The Rams did it right. And the Bills need to continue with how they acquired Diggs. Use top picks on ESTABLISHED quality players. Stop hording your picks.
-
Exactly, these run plays are worthless. Rams 16 carries, 23 yards.

Good to see the best NFL crew is just as bad as the worst. Garbage refs

Both teams look mediocre. Thanks a bunch Seany.....

Danielle Hunter, DE, the perfect trade candidate

14.5 sacks and 21 TFL's. Yes please. What's his latest health report? -
Marv and Sean had great players. They both preached character, culture and process. But when the rubber hit the road and you desperately needed some brilliant "in game" strategies or decisions, they were not there. Did Marv learn from his mistakes after SB25? Did Sean learn anything after that Houston game? The answer to both questions is no.

How bad is it for Lesile Frazier?
LABILLBACKER replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall
They have to know Mahomes has to get rid of the ball at 2 seconds. Rushing 4 and even 3 would be such a stupid and wasteful decision. So why not double down and do it again. No pooch and back to back deep "prevents" definitely will define Sean McDermott's legacy. -
Sean McVay considering stepping away from coaching?
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah with that voice he'd be the Beth Mowins of the NFL. -
Sean McVay considering stepping away from coaching?
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
He definitely knows tomorrow is everything. This organization has pushed all their chips to the center of the table. They're kinda like the Lakers. Win now or you're screwed for the next several years. -
McDermott will be unsuccessfully trying to "walk back" his terrible coaching decisions in that last 13 for the rest of his life. Let's face the facts. Sean is an amazing players coach who thrives at culture & process. But as a clutch "in game" strategist he might as well be Peterman.

If he wins tomorrow he could have a very lucrative career in NFL broadcasting without all the stress.- 107 replies

If Star wasn't so useless this wouldn't even be an issue. And Harry's nice but hardly elite. I know this incessant picking of high DL players is getting old but unless you think we can ever outscore KC in the playoffs, I don't know what to do. We can turn Josh and this offense into arena football and win games 49-48 every week? I don't have the answer? I'm just so sick and tired of seeing our defense fail in the playoffs.
