Would you hire him after watching those 13 seconds. He was a terrible HC in Minnesota and frankly he's been the same here. He's basically the Tremaine Edmunds of coordinators. I can tolerate physical mistakes. But mental mistakes are inexcusable. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And because of the magnitude of this game, people are pissed and have a right to be. To me last week was the Super Bowl between the 2 best teams and QB's in the NFL. A little word of wisdom to Cincy, just because you beat them in the regular season doesn't mean you're doing it in the playoffs. The 49ers & Rams are nice structured teams but neither Garapolo or Stafford are on the level of Allen or Mahomes. The winner of our game was going all the way. And there's no one that can convince me otherwise.

I think after a 1st round CB, you will see several offensive players drafted. Especially with the extra picks losing Daboll and maybe Frazier. It wouldn't surprise me to see them take a chance on a mid draft DE. I think Rousseau will improve but not AJE or Boogie. Let's say we have 10 picks, I could see 7 on offense.

This is not even close. With Tre being out till November and the possibility of Levi leaving, I'm 100% convinced we'll take the best, fastest CB @25. We'll still target IOL but the play of Ryan Bates doesn't make it neccessary in the 1st round.

If it was a middle of the season game in the 2nd quarter I can see something falling thru the cracks. This was as high a leverage situation McD has ever been in. He doesn't have the luxury of screwing up communication. No matter how it happened. And Tyler Bass also has to have some common sense or if he's not sure, ASK? I think the play call made it to the players but for some inexcusable reason McD & Bass were not on the same page.

How does McDermott not physically call his entire ST, including Bass and scream to them at the top of his lungs exactly what he wants done? Everyone heard it except Bass? Does Tyler need a hearing aid or did he just kick it too hard? He's been successfully doing that pop up kick all year. This play was so screwed up it's incredible how billsy it was.

And this is what's going to happen. Our window officially swung wide open last year. And depending on contract restructuring and hitting on draft picks, I expect it to stay open till Josh is around 37-38. The team we have to beat over the next several years is KC and they're in the same boat as us contract wise. So it's really going to come down to who has better and more contract friendly players around the QB.

Not only would he be a fool but it would be a slap in the face to Josh considering their relationship. Would you rather be Allen's OC or Daniel "future backup" Jones'?

He's far from being on the hot seat as the Pegs love him. But they didn't become billionaires being dumb. They are aware he can struggle with gameday tactical decisions. That is his biggest weakness. If he doesn't clean these mistakes up that warm seat becomes hot.

Sorry New Era, can't agree. What makes this site so amazing is all the differing opinions. The doom & gloomers are welcome and appreciated. The enthusiastic optimists are also equally welcomed for their positive attitude. The goof balls might irritate us but they can also make us laugh. How boring would life be if we all reacted to last Sunday in the exact way. We all vent in different ways. I personally know in my heart Josh and his teammates will someday bring a Lombardi to Buffalo. Windows are funny things. They can open then close then open again. Everyone just be yourselves......

Big Blitz & Turbo both so true. I believe there was a miscommunication between Sean and Bass. And the fact that Tyler has been silent tells me the coaches are honorably protecting him from scrutiny. We'll probably never know the total story. I know the majority of fans are justifiably angry over the inept D on those last 2 passes to Hill & TE. But I'll go to my grave knowing if we could've just knocked off those 5 seconds, we probably win a championship this year.

There's no way 7-8 seconds is enough time to get off 2 quick passes. And as I said several times the squib is the wrong kick. You use the same kick Bass has done 15-20x this year. Pop it up between the 5-10. Allows your coverage to surround Hardman. He's likely not going to fair catch it at the 10.
