Allen declines invitation to play in Pro Bowl

Maybe Edmunds can replace him as an alternative. 🤪 -

Denver hiring Nathaniel Hackett as HC
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes he was. -
Let's not kid ourselves. We were never really a #1 defense. And other then the last few games, the OL was bad. I saw Ingram throw Spencer to the ground like he was 100 lbs last Sunday. The Jags loss destroyed our season. We host 3 playoff games if we don't lose to Jacksonville. I don't know if Fangio is the answer. It's not likely McD switches to a 3-4. But if Frazier leaves and I'm praying he does, we somehow need better pass rushers and a more aggressive style.

Who is the best pass rusher we can get or available via trade
LABILLBACKER replied to Fred Slacks's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree, just keep signing young offensive weapons as we wait for Kelce to eventually retire. Just prepare for arena football every time we meet. -
Beane anticipates Cole Beasley being back next season

I like the way you think. Keep McKenzie as your slot. He's younger, faster and cheaper 2yr/8M. Barrios as our returner would be amazing. Then draft another wr as Hodgins will probably be gone. -
If we're facing these clowns every year, we better get some consecutive home games. Maybe welcome them in 2024 when Kelce retires.

We're #1 defensively against everyone except KC. 80 points in the last 2 playoff games. Yea that screams #1.

When does KC come to Buffalo during the regular season? 2039? What the hell is the NFL doing? Ya mean what should've been the SB.

“We can smile today because we have Josh Allen”
LABILLBACKER replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I see him getting close to 40tds (passing) and 5000 yards next season. He will be the MVP and we will likely go 14-3. More focused and no loses to teams like Jacksonville. He's a little more than elite. He's a generational superstar. That's why last Sunday hurt so bad. -
Haack Likely 1 and Done in Buffalo
LABILLBACKER replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pretty ironic my first ever Bills game v the Jets and I'm watching our punter maybe have the worst game I've ever seen in my entire life. How about we go back to basics and train our backup qb to hold kicks. -
Should the Bills extend Edmunds?
LABILLBACKER replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
This should be the strategy. Make a trade and get a good CB or OG. Unless someone offers a 2nd. I just don't know if a 3rd is enough? -
Right, Ed played great last week. One of the few defensive players who did. We basically have to build a front 4 around him.

Beane anticipates Cole Beasley being back next season
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Uh oh, he used the "he's still under contract" reference. That guarantees he's gone. I like Cole and will always appreciate his clutch 1st down catches but age is slowing him down. Not to mention all the vax distractions. I think McK takes his slot spot. And both Sanders & Cole will be gone. We'll likely draft another wr. -
Perfect comparison!

Are we overplaying this team's chances had we won?

Until KC drops 30+ on them. -

Does anyone on this board think Jim Kelly is better than Josh Allen? JA17 is a generational qb who just played 2 of the most perfect and amazing games in Bills history. And he did it without 6 HOF players. So to answer the OP's question, NO. -
Urban Meyer - "Worst experience in my professional life“
LABILLBACKER replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly. Our entire season could've been different if we only rout a team we should've annihilated. We would've had KC at home. And even KC players admitted playing the Bills at home would have been a struggle. Losing to Jacksonville is like that missed extra point that you just know will bite you in the ass down the road. -
Because in high leverage situations Sean McDermott wets his pants. We saw it in Houston. We saw it last year. Hell we saw Marv do it 4 straight times. It's not all on the players. Coaching matters. An intelligent defensive coach rushed 2 or 3 because he knows Mahomes has to get rid of it Immediately. So the OP is right. Our all pro safeties are playing on the warning track. And our front 4 are basically rendered useless. It's 5 on 5.

Looks like the call to squib may not have made it to Bass
LABILLBACKER replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
How does Bass not know what the situation is and at least ask someone (Farwell, McD) what's going on? Losing a monumental game like that to a mental breakdown between coaches and players is inexcusable.
