  1. Because of the recent NFL rules that favor both QBS & WR's, it's stupid for a team not to take full advantage of crossing routes. In the old days receivers going over the middle were destroyed. Now if it's a zone read you can still go crossing route without the fear of targeting. Part of the reason our YAC is so pathetic is how few crosses & screens we call.
  2. Thanks Hap, great story. There's a ton of good players out there. Unfortunately it's the negative sensationalism of the media that insists on the constant bad stories to get eyeballs & advertising revenue.
  3. Listening to Keyshawn here in LA is like nails on a chalkboard. He thinks he's an authority on so much. And because of his Jets background he rarely compliments Josh or the Bills. At least Max Kellerman and Cowherd are much more objective regarding Buffalo.
  4. He's like Bates. Dotson and Smith need to be given more opportunities. Stop this ridiculous obsession with Edmunds.
  5. I'd sure like to say farewell to Frazier.
  6. The only thing Rosen had was a deeper ego.
  7. My top 5 in order of projected production would be: 1. Linderbaum 2. Davis 3. Booth 4. Williams 5. Elam
  8. Dean is good but it will require someone giving us a 3rd for Edmunds. The league knows Tremaine and that's going to be a tough pitch.
  9. And I'd be very happy with any of those 5 players. Williams would take the longest to be impactful.
  10. I guarantee you the league tweaks the OT rule in the playoffs. An opening TD drive can be matched by the other team. Then the game instantly becomes sudden death on the next score.
  11. If we go CB which is still the most likely pick with Tre out, it would be Booth or Elam. Obviously Davis would be the only 1T target. Linderbaum as your IOL. And Williams as your longshot (acl) WR. We're definitely not wasting a high pick on a LB till next year, considering we're stuck with Edmunds.
  12. Bebbanburg has a crappy defense....
  13. I like Davis alot. His size and quickness is undeniable. Hopefully make us forget Star real quick. I think if Linderbaum falls to 25, he becomes the pick. If he's gone and Davis is still there you gotta get him. Booth (CB) and Jameson Williams (WR) would also be considerations.
  14. Well we may not agree on Edmunds but we sure agree on this excellent point. So incredibly pissed over Sean's mental breakdown on those last 3 plays.
  15. This final 5th year (contract year) for him will determine everything. If Beane cannot find a trade partner we'll have to sit back and see how he plays. I just don't see him having that breakout season we've all been patiently waiting for. And it will cost the organization an expensive 12.7 to get some closure.
  16. Kupp would've probably had his way with Levi. The Rams Dline is for real. But I think Josh would have taken off when needed. It would've been a great SB. I think Burrow could get sacked another 9 times Sunday.
  17. Come on Hap, that last 13 seconds of coaching was about as depressing as a funeral.
  18. Like Kenneth Walker III alot. He's projected late 2nd round. If he runs around a 4.45 he might go early 2nd?
  19. Dressed in all black in honor of coach McD. You could hear the pain in his voice.
  20. Perfect game followed by a no hitter. You're never going to see 2 consecutive playoff performances like that again by any qb. Take that pain and channel it into next year.
  21. Yeah, we've got a special one for years to come. Now if the coaches can just stop being stupid?
  22. Booth, Linderbaum or Davis. Any of these 3 would probably be Immediate productive starters. So I'd be happy with one of these.
  23. Exactly. Play Gabe and Isaiah more and call more crossing routes and screens. Beasley basically gets tackled Immediately and Diggs isn't much better. Knox is not bowling people over like Kelce. We absolutely can't be dead last in YAC anymore.
  24. From an offensive standpoint I count it as a step forward. Other than a couple offensive letdowns against Pittsburgh & Jacksonville, Josh really blossomed. We saw another level of improvement in Knox & Davis. And the most exciting development was probably the last few games of the season where injecting Bates and featuring Motor helped our anemic run game. I think adding Dorsey, Brady & Kromer will only continue the advancement. Defensively we may have had some statistical #1 rankings but it never felt dominant. The young DE's just didn't pop like I was hoping. Edmunds ran around doing what Edmunds does which is pretty unremarkable. I liked the way Ed played but after him the front 4 was kinda meh. Our safeties may be getting older but are still the best 1-2 duo in the NFL. Losing Tre was brutal and I'm hoping if Levi leaves we draft his counterpart. I think the biggest step back was coaching. We always have that mid season lull where we lose focus. This year was no different with the Jags embarrassment. The coaching especially in-game HAS to improve. We can't EVER witness that 13 second meltdown again. We owe that much to Josh playing basically 2 straight perfect playoff games. Figure it out Sean.
  25. I jumped off the delusional 49 bandwagon after his 2019 season. He's been gradually less impactful ever since. And I guess the biggest irony regarding Tremaine is the fallacy of his great cover skills. His qb rating when targeted these last 2 seasons are 114 & 106. We have to trade him while we can still get a 2nd or early 3rd for him.
