2022 Tremaine Edmunds Prediction & Watch Thread
LABILLBACKER replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall
No more excuses with Von, Groot and Settle. If he continues to make tackles 7 yards downfield with few if any impact plays, they'll let him walk. Especially if he's looking for 12-14/yr. -
Barkley is basically a glorified qb coach. I just want to see Blackshear & Hodgins make the 53. Is a FB really necessary?
-
19 is too low for the DT's...everything else is basically accurate. Maybe WR 9-10 range? OL @ 14 is generous.

All we can do as a fan base and community is show the Knox family unending love and support. Let it pour in by way of prayers and any charitable causes close to the family. Bills fans understand what Dawson means to this organization. Now it's our turn to lift him and his family up during this difficult time.

I saw that and started laughing. Von at 93 is silly. He should be 50-60 range.
-
He did not look good out there. I don't think he's making this team.
-
Yeah I don't get all this Kumerow love. I just don't see what he does so compelling on ST that justifies his zero contribution on offense? Just train Hodgins to do exactly what Kumerow does and call it a day. Last Saturday Hodgins reminded me of an extremely taller, younger version of Beasley.

Was that Zach Moss run actually impressive?
LABILLBACKER replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Again his vision is still mediocre. He just ran right into a wall of blockers rather then plant his foot and head left. The only reason he ended up left is because he bounced that direction. He did show an improved burst on those two 5yd runs. We'll see? -
I thought the whole point of signing Howard was for an increased use of 12 personnel by Dorsey. Both Sweeney & OJH look meh. And Wyndermyer is gonzo. I think we'll be shopping the cuts real soon. Right now not having a quality TE2 is a big problem. Too bad we couldn't have put a few pounds on Duke and turn him into a TE.

2023 Extension? (Poyer/Edmunds/Knox/Oliver)
LABILLBACKER replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall
All emphasis should be locking up Ed & Dawson. There's no way they're paying Edmunds what he thinks he's worth. Poyer will be a tough decision either way. -
I think if Hodgins puts together a couple more good preseason games, we'll be saying goodbye to Kumerow. It's mind bogling that this organization puts so much emphasis on ST only to ignore them like the KC game.

Tim Settle looked pretty darn good
LABILLBACKER replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm more excited to see how Settle plays this year than Jones.....Star who? -
Like to see Crowder, Hodgins and Blackshear make it as insurance. I have no clue who that last d lineman will be.

2nd Half thread: Bills vs Colts preseason week 1
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah because that preseason win streak translated to so many rings. Damn you Case. -
NFL reffing focus (roughing the passer/illegal contact)
LABILLBACKER replied to Watkins101's topic in The Stadium Wall
For 20 years I watched weekly the shield ignore holding on the NE OL while protecting TB12. Now it's our turn...all in the cause of good marketing. -
Funny stuff....he looks 5-11....
-
We could've used a thumper last year against Henry & Taylor.
-
That top 6 is exactly what I have. After that I don't care. I think Mahomes is going to miss Hill, Williams & Pringle more than Josh misses Beasley. Herbert will slide up into the 3 spot once Brady & Rodgers retire.
-
I had Edmunds as one of my top 7 wrs.

7 Bills players that are trending up and down (per Joe B)
LABILLBACKER replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not if he kicks it over their heads instead of watching Haack shank a 7 yarder. The short Haack era will soon be over. -
After 13 seconds I too wanted Sean's head on a spike. We were all pissed and emotional. But after a few days and reading some posts from more level headed fans than myself, I realized we are in good hands. McD will learn from his mistake and I strongly doubt he ever makes it again. This team is set to make a SB run for years to come. As we say on the ocean, "full steam ahead"....

Great article. Good qbs can be quickly destroyed by bad organizations. I still think Darnold fell into that hole. Beane had a plan since Day1 on how to develop JA and so far it's worked to perfection. I think Dorsey will add some necessary wrinkles like Cook and more 12 personnel to further extend Josh's ability and protection. None of this would've been possible without McB's vision (process).
