Danielle Hunter, DE, the perfect trade candidate

His scouting report is pretty impressive. Would McB dare go DL 3 years in a row? -

Star- the best ability is availability Tremaine- we can do better for less money -
Totally agree. I think if Knox becomes a yearly 9-10 td guy, I could care less about targets, catches or yards. Guys like Kelce & Kittle are used like WR1's. 6-8 might be a little low. I'd sign him to 10/yr with incentives.

Proven players like Diggs will always be more valuable than 1st round picks that half the time result in busts. Trade the picks, the Rams were right. -
Article - Six free agents Buffalo should target

26 yr old Berrios who basically led the NFL in returns. And he could get separation in the slot. If you could get him on a 3/16 deal, I'd do it immediately. We're not guaranteed keeping Beasley, McKenzie or Sanders. If Ogbah wants 15.5, I'd rather pay Chandler Jones 17. Corbett could be had for maybe 9/yr? -
Gabe Davis on Richard Sherman Podcast

I just think the coaches somewhat struggled a little determining who the best player is. Who's the best Dlineman, not sure so let's do a rotation. Why did it take so long to identify Bates as a better replacement? Seemed like it took forever to finally realize Peterman couldn't cut it. Do we play Brown, Sanders or Davis. I know let's do another rotation. Singletary or Moss? Let's do a rotation. When the coaches finally figured it out that Bates was an improvement, he played and excelled. Same went for Singletary & Davis. -
In hindsight, what’s your worst “hot take” on TSW ever?

Gee Doc, I'm sorry it wasn't cold enough to meet your regulatory requirements. You completely missed the point anyway. -

John Brown took targets from him in 20. Sanders did the same in 21. Just frustrating to watch this organization take longer than most to properly evaluate their talent. Look at Bates. -

Stop dicking around with Gabe and lock him up as our long term WR2. -

1. Wanted Rosen over Allen 2. Was probably a little too rough on Kelsay & Edmunds 3. I too wanted Watkins 4. Selfishly wanting a dome before finally going to Highmark and seeing with my own eyes what an amazing outdoor experience (albeit cold) it was. -
Kareem Hunt: Cut candidate. Possible 2022 Bill?
LABILLBACKER replied to filthymcnasty08's topic in The Stadium Wall
This very well might be the case. I'm sure they'll do their due diligence. And if he's not a target we can draft Hall on a 5 yr rookie deal. -

Do also love Breece Hall. Hey, we have choices. Even the process has to have a purgatory? Players can change and be productive. Maybe not AB, at this point he's kinda a lost cause. -

LABILLBACKER replied to filthymcnasty08's topic in The Stadium Wall
So there you go. The Bills aren't completely opposed to the idea of obtaining a player with some issues. Listen I'm not advocating McB to go out and sign a bunch of serial killers, but if the player has shown remorse and made the effort to change like Hunt, then Hell yeah. Guys like AB are probably beyond help. -
Completely agree. We have a very good defense, just not elite. I'm not going to get into the #1 ranking debate. I forsee Levi leaving and with Tre's return delayed, this will probably force our 1st pick to be CB. If we can get a 2nd or 3rd for Edmunds then I'd do that Immediately. We're stuck with Star but I could see us drafting a Travis Jones in the 3rd? He could compliment Harry. I see all 3 of Addison, Hughes & Butler gone. I wish we could afford Chandler Jones but that's probably not feasible. Go more snaps with the young guys and see what you have?

We should extend him now before his price tag goes well beyond 10-12M/yr. Draft a TE2 like Greg Dulcich from UCLA and get Dawson locked up before he has another 9-10 td season.

I'm tired of waiting around for the "All Choir Boy" team to ever win one. If it takes a couple gangsta's, so be it. -
Walter Football Mock with the Hot Take on our MLB

I'm so exhausted discussing Edmunds. His list of deficiencies far outweighs his strengths. And there's no way he gets extended. He'll either be traded or play out his contract year. -
PFF ranks Milano best in pass coverage

"It starts with me"....."I'm not going to go into it"...." we didn't execute".....later -
I don't know. We sure punted alot in that last Jets game. Haack will tell you all about it. If I could lock up a punter possibly better than Moorman for 10yrs and it only costs me a 5th. Josh isn't pitching a perfect game every week. Like the Gordon, Jones & Phillips picks. All good value probably.

As much as I would love to eliminate the "bend don't break" style that we've seen dating back to the SB years, versatility is very tough to accomplish with a cap in place. When we play a Tennessee or Indy we need certain specific players to stop the run. When we play a top qb we need an elite pass rusher. And when we play the weaker teams that we dominated last season by 10+ points, we can simply run our standard scheme with is all-inclusive. I'd love to have the luxury and cap room to have specialty depth players that are run steppers or qb disruptors. But that's not realistic. We're at the mercy of McD making the proper scheme adjustments based on our offensive opponent. I was screaming for a 5th Dlineman while Taylor was completely destroying us. It never happened.

PFF ranks Milano best in pass coverage
LABILLBACKER replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not married to analytics, but I can't ignore it either. PFF (if you're into their formulas) says: Milano's overall grade 69.7 and Edmunds is 50.4. And if I was to use common sense and what I see game in game out, these numbers might be somewhat accurate. There's no way Tremaine is worth nearly 13M. I don't care what they ask of him.
