We lost SB's in the 90's not for lack of talent but mediocre defense and coaching. Same goes for last season. Many sports pundits including guys like Cowherd & Simms said we were one of the most "all around" talented teams in the NFL. Josh pitched basically 2 perfect games in the playoffs only to have his #1 defense and terrible coaching decisions screw it all up. This isn't rocket science. We all saw it.

He should be our #1 FA focus. Give him 2 years @ 34M. We'll finally have a pass rusher capable of 10+ sacks. What a novel idea.

Greg Rosenthal has Robinson ranked #8 in his top 100 free agents. 6-3 runs a 4.47 and redzone threat. It would cost Beane ~16/yr? Intriguing....he's had garbage qbs his whole career? Not sure how I feel about this with the rise of Gabe? Chargers paying a duo 20 each. Stef has to restructure......

I still think Chandler Jones will be signed by us. Addison & Hughes will be gone. Jones & Groot on the outside with AJE & Boogie as depth. The question remains who our 1T will be?

The whole idea of a pressure, a hurry or a hit is worthless if the pass was still completed. Sacks are all I care about. If Shaq wants to come back for a 1 year prove it "league minimum" deal, I guess I could live with that?

Berrios could possibly be signed for substantially less than Beasley. Maybe 4-5M range? The huge benefit besides being younger than Beas would be his value as a FT returner. He led the NFL in combined returns last year. I'm not saying he'd be the perfect replacement for Cole, but it's an option. McKenzie's not guaranteed to re-sign and Stevenson is awful at returns.

I think we can narrow pick 25 down to Jameson Williams, Jordan Davis or the best CB on the board. Kirk would be nice but he's too expensive for a slot wr. Penny and Lawson on very team friendly deals makes sense.

Devonte Adams is probably 99% going to get tagged or extended. Aaron will not let GB lose him. Khalil Mack is 31 and way to expensive (23M) to attempt a trade. This is one native son who's likely not returning. McCaffrey's biggest risk is his injury history. Are you really going to pay a hybrid slot wr that much on a trade. Also unlikely. The 2 players who I think McB might try to land are Chandler Jones & Gronk. Gronk is a native son who has already apologized to Tre. If you could get him for 2/16M, you can protect JA17 by running more 12 personnel. Chandler Jones on a 3/43M would get you as many sacks as Mack for far less. These 2 moves could be done once cap is freed up and contracts restructured. Then draft heavy offense 25....Jameson 57......Hall Mid rounds OL, CB

Play Dodson & Milano then use that 13M toward Chandler Jones. Or sign Wagner to replace Edmunds. You do realize there are other options available.

Agree....sign Berrios cheap and roll the dice on Jameson @ 25. You're not obligated to play him until late this season allowing the knee to fully heel.

I want Chandler Jones more than any FA. But I don't know if we can afford more than a 14-15/yr contract. Put more guaranteed to lessen the cap blow. If Shaq is returning it better be cheap as a rotational player.

Yup, spotrac has him as #1 ranked ILB. The only shot at him is a guaranteed trade partner for Tremaine which unfortunately is highly unlikely.
