  1. London has only the 50/50 ball in his repertoire. I'm still 90% convinced we'll take the best CB at 25. Maybe McDuffie falls? Guys like Dotson or Christian Watson could be there in the mid 2nd. I wouldn't lose sleep using some of the 6/7 picks to move up for either of these guys.
  2. I don't care if we're the best team on paper. All I care about is seeing Josh hoist a Lombardi. The best NFL team doesn't neccessary will it all every year. Someday we'll ask our defense to make a heroic stop in a SB. We never saw it in the 90's and we've yet to see it in recent playoff games against Houston or KC. As good as our offense has been historically, it's always been the defense that let's us down. Maybe Von is that final piece that was missing?
  3. It is different than the 90's team. Hard to accurately describe it but alot more of my non-Bills friends root for them now than before. Maybe it's the whole national "mafia" moniker? Maybe it's the arm canon cyborg sent from the future to destroy Mahomey? Whatever it is, the process & culture is working. And it doesn't hurt to have so many down to earth people live in Buffalo. The Cubs finally got one and we will too.
  4. Yes, Tre will lose 3-4 games minimum. It would be utterly stupid to rush him back week 1, no matter how go he thinks he feels. Sign a 1 year vet like Haden and pray McDuffie falls. Cam, Siran and Dane can rotate in to secure things until Tre is more than 100%. A knee setback would be a disaster.
  5. I agree McDuffie @ 25 McCollum @ 168
  6. A very intriguing cb. He's actually rated slightly higher than Woolen, Taylor-Britt and Castro-Fields. His size and speed is impressive. They would have to work on his tackling and aggressiveness. I could see him in the 5th? Still praying McDuffie falls to 25. If he does you sprint to the podium.
  7. You're right. The AFC is now a gauntlet. The Chiefs will slightly drop in their dominance. Niether Juju nor Scantling will strike fear in you like Tyreek did. And the one neutralizing factor for Hill is Tua throwing to him. But..... if by some CRUEL act of God Brady gets traded to Miami, I will just say F-it.
  8. I was basically going to write this exact post. From the Viking game on, it was clearly apparent we had a superstar in Buffalo. Now if we could just find a playoff defense and coaching that doesn't meltdown.
  9. So true. We need a 4.4 cb badly. Tre and whoever will be chasing Hill and Waddle twice a year. At least Tua can't throw deep.
  10. Booth @ 25 Mccreary or Gordon @ 57 Not a horrible idea doubling down on finding Tre's partner. Then find a speed receiver at 89.....
  11. Hill instantly becomes a slot wr with Tua and his noodle arm throwing to him. I thought Kirk's contract was ridiculous until today. There will come a time very soon when we start losing good players one by one. We have to get that first Lombardi soon. No one is immune to cap casualties. It happens to every team.
  12. Now just keep team doctors away from him. And that wasn't even a good game for Josh. This trade will be terrible for both teams. KC will no longer have a speed deep threat. And Tua doesn't have the arm to get it to Hill. Plus Miami will now be cap strapped. Love this offseason.
  13. Completely agree. Use all 3 late picks to move up in the 3-5 round.
  14. We're definitely going after Araiza but not before the 5th round.
  15. First we want these 4 teams to beat the living crap out of each other throughout the season. Barring any weird weather games or difficulties scheming Hill, we should cake walk thru the east. The goal should be 13 wins and home field throughout. Denver might now be the challenge out of the west?
  16. Exactly....and if you told me Watson was going to Mia, then I'd worry. Tua is garbage and it won't take long for Hill to get frustrated and mouth off.
  17. Exactly. The league knows Tua can't throw the deep ball. They'll be forced to just give him bubble screens. And by the time Miami moves off Tua and replaces him, Tyreek will be 32-33. This makes KC that much closer to having no weapons for Mahomey.
  18. There ya go Aaron. There's your #1.
  19. I agree. I'm not going to freak out if we don't go CB at 25. Haden, Dane & Taron can easily hold down the fort. And last I checked we have 2 pretty good safeties to back them up. Plus our pass rush should be improved making the CB's look better.
  20. My first choice is to take the best available CB @ 25. But I wouldn't be opposed to trading back into the early 2nd and draft Breece Hall. Use 57 on a CB. Now you have an extra 3rd for a speed wr and IOL.
  21. I agree. I like both Booth & McDuffie the most. If either of these guys fall, you 100% go CB. Even if we were to sign a Haden or Peterson to a 1 yr deal. Then get your speed wr in the 2nd round.
  22. This pretty much guarantees we'll pick the best CB @ 25 unless Bates doesn't return. If he stays healthy this is a decent pu.
  23. This will be Tremaine's last year in Buffalo. I don't see trade partners lining up for nearly 13M. We'll go in a less expensive direction next year.
  24. His contribution to this team will be as a friend and confidant to Josh. There's about a 2% chance he sees any game action.
  25. Looking at his tape from last season is pretty impressive. And 28 isn't exactly 35 yr old Frank Gore. I could see Duke get 30-40% of the touches. Moss and/or Brieda will be gone.
