I couldn't agree more. Bates basically came in and jump started an OL that struggled in the run game early in the season. All Bates does when he's asked to fill in is perform.

He's still #1 on my @25 wish list, but if we go CB I'll totally understand. And even if we don't draft him we still have plenty of size with Davis(6-3), Dawson(6-4) and Howard(6-6). It's the speed of JW we desperately need.

Miller had 13.5 sacks and 25 TFL's. I'll take the guy with rings. Plus we saved our 2nd & 6th. This is basically a back loaded 3 year deal. Beane did very well on this one.

Finally a legit 12 personnel. Josh won't have to run for his life as frequently. And the run game will thrive. Breece Hall in the 2nd would be sweet.

God I'd love to see Jerry hoist a Lombardi. Considering all the ref crap he's had to deal with. From what I've read, Settle is slightly better than Jones. Groot should be able to step up his game with Von chasing qbs back toward him. AJE just didn't pop this season and I'd try trading him with Edmunds. Phillips, Jones and Boogie will rotate as depth. Please give your top 4 at least 60% of the snaps.

I watched Jack at UCLA. He is a baller and has so much more instincts than we're ever going to see from Tremaine. It's ironic because I think Myles is a 9-10M/yr guy production wise. And I have Tremaine's value as a glorified strong safety as 8/yr. I'm sure Beane has at least inquired trading 49. And I bet they're are very few suitors. I'm afraid we're flat out stuck with him this season.
