Sean in my book will always get an A+ for being a players coach and administrator of all things process & culture. But as an in-game tactician he gets a solid C. Crap like that 13 seconds can never happen again.

Pounding the table for Christian Watson at 25
LABILLBACKER replied to Vickveto's topic in The Stadium Wall
In January this kid was a 6th rounder. Talk about improving your draft stock. I'd move up in the 2nd but he'll need to put on some muscle mass. Curious what his 3 cone would've been? He does have that long stride speed. -
Flat out the best interception I've ever seen watching 50+ years of NFL. He was not even in the frame when the ball was about to be caught for a td. He literally came out of nowhere. Ridiculous play.....

Whaley had his shot and he failed. Time to move on.

Josh is going to get 2-3 mvps in his career. I'm not worried about that. It's the Lombardi that haunts me. -
I would feel 10x better getting Walker @ 57 if it meant we landed a quality CB @ 25. I like Breece alot but not at the expense of getting a CB with Tre out. We're not getting to 12-13 wins without our defense stepping up.

Video: Von Miller Behind the Scenes of Free Agency

Von's dad is a legend. You don't go cheap (16-17) on a HOFer. He'll be the first NFL superstar to win a championship with 3 different teams. Just remember what Reggie did his last 6 years in Philadelphia. This will be a fun ride. -
Bates & Settle will start. As others have accurately mentioned Tre will start the season on the PUP. We'll likely find a 1 year stop gap veteran CB (Haden?) to compliment the one we draft early. We desperately need a wr with speed, yac and return skills would help. Drafting Araiza in the 6th or Stout in the 7th is important considering Haack's struggles. A mid round diamond in the rough RB would be nice too.

Yes, Jerry was a warrior and gave it his all despite constantly getting hosed by the refs. He'll be missed and will always have a spot in Bill's lore.
-
Yeah guys like Velus Jones or Kyle Phillips (UCLA) would be nice slot/ return guys that wouldn't cost you an early pick. Also CB Zyon McCollom (Sam Houston St) looks interesting late.

Hey dopey, why don't you read the thread real carefully. Do your homework. And maybe, just maybe you'll see I didn't bring it up.

If I could've inserted Wagner at 10M this season over TE @ 12.7, I would've been on "soak it in" cloud 9. Still think there's a chance we find a sucker to take him and that salary off our hands. Gotta agree we have alot to be excited about.
-
Yes they will. If we get them on the opener, that will be a fun game. And another expensive ticket at SoFi.

McDuffie is the smart pick and the right pick. He's not only a top 15 player but he's BPA at a position of need.

There's no way the Dolphins would pay Tyreek qb money if they knew Tua was throwing to him. Something is in the air. I smell a dil do...... -

It's possible or maybe Brady cuts a deal with Miami if he's not thrilled with Bowles? Gronk has made no decisions? Who knows....if AB comes back you might as well have hard knocks film crew prepare for Tampa. -
Watson has gone from a 5th round wr to early 2nd. I've even seen a few mocks with him late 1st. Still I like Dotson and Williams the most if available. Phillips in the 4th would be a steal.

All I know is Bowles sucks as a HC. Something tells me Brady will retire again after this season. -
Off Topic guess Lamar’s new contract

Yea but his skillset is still one dimensional. That's why I think they wait this out before making a huge investment. He'll still probably make 95+ million over the next 3 years. Then he can go the Cousins route. -

He's played in 4 playoff games. He's 1-3 with a 68 qb rating. You know the Ravens are factoring this in. He'll make his $23M this year and likely get tagged 2 straight years. So that will buy Baltimore some time to definitively decide if he's long term worthy.
