  1. I'll never understand the support for Edmunds. What he's supposedly the best at is pass coverage. Yet 114 and 106 passer rating when targeted these last 2 seasons. He peaked in 2019 plain & simple. And you just can't pay a guy 12.7 for these multiple flaws that have been discussed dozens of threads. Trade 49 if you can and give Andre Smith all of Tyler's playing time. Keep Dotson for depth. I have no clue what to do with Klein?
  2. Ankou really impressed me in the few opportunities he had. He was a solid play at UCLA. Maybe rotate him with Phillips while you look for a better 1T.
  3. Well this will be the year we get younger and cheaper. Replace Levi and that 9M with a rookie 1st round CB2 like Booth. Or I can see them trading Edmunds for an impact corner or front 4 player. White, Milano and Taron are going nowhere. If Poyer doesn't restructure a team friendly extension, he'll probably be gone after this upcoming season. Neal sticks around on a sub 2M deal. Guys like Cam, Jaquan are probably gone. Dane has earned his spot for the time being.
  4. First you say 95 out of 100, then 90 out of 100. So in other words probably 50-50. You're also forgetting if its kicked high enough and the returner decides to let it bounce on the 15 or 10, the coverage team can jump on it for an onside recovery before it bounces in. There's alot of things that can go wrong for the recieving team (Hardman).
  5. From now on I draft offense and trade picks for PROVEN defensive players. Don't let McD make anymore defensive selections. This strategy worked brilliantly with Diggs. Good Lord keep doing it. And don't be afraid to go all in like the Rams. So many 1st round picks bust anyway.
  6. Beasley is almost 33. He gives you zero YAC. And he can't return punts or kickoffs. Berrios led the NFL in combined returns. He's faster and younger than Beasley and would help our abysmal YAC in the slot. And finally he'd probably come at a slightly less cap hit.
  7. I agree, we need to prepare to score more than 42 points in order to advance past KC. #1 defense's are overrated anyway.
  8. We'll give you Edmunds and a 6th. You give us Barkley and a 4th.
  9. Hope he enjoyed his one moment in the sun with the hail mary.
  10. Totally agree. Other then a couple plays, he was pretty invisible this season when he did play. Save the cap hit and cut him. Harry can hold down the fort till we draft a stronger 1T.
  11. I go a step further. 80 points in our last 2 playoff games w/ KC. We'll never be "built to beat KC" until Kelce retires.
  12. It is a combo. An extremely over ranked defense supported by an over-rated defensive HC. He had a 16-0 lead in Houston. A 9-0 lead last year and the game winning td from our heroic qb, only to fail miserably all 3 times. See a trend here?
  13. 2 years of playing KC in the playoffs. Gave up a total of 80 points. Our spectacular #1 D held them to only 42 points. At least the Cincinnati defense was smart enough to keep Mahomes in the pocket. Last year Tampa simply bull rushed him into panic situations. There's no one on the planet that can convince me we ever had a #1 D this year. Not with all the garbage qbs we faced. Our D wasn't battle tested and it showed v. KC. And as much as Frazier bores me, McD calls half the plays so the bulk of the blame goes on him.
  14. Take notes for next years SB Bills. No Vegas shenanigans.
  15. Every single thread on this board morphs into something else. Happens all the time. Don't worry we'll cut some cap fat and Beane will hopefully replace probable cap casualties like Sanders, Beasley and McKenzie with better, younger and more productive weapons for Josh.
  16. Tre played the entire KC game last year and we lost by 2 tds? And giving up 80 points to KC in consecutive years hardly screams good defense. We need a better pass rush, whether you want to admit or not. And yes McDermott epically failed this team in those last 13 seconds. He had 3 opportunities to win that game and butchered them all. Unfortunately the season was probably decided in Jacksonville.
  17. So in other words just like a regular season game. Listen, if the pro bowl is going to snub a qb like Josh yet invite a mediocre player like Edmunds, I'm out. It's basically pointless anyway with the added 17th game.
  18. So true. He needs more speed and aggressive structure for his defense. A little less zone and a better pass rush would do wonders.
  19. What's absolutely nuts is Bass has successfully performed that exact pop up to the 10 yard line probably 15x this season. And maybe the return guy (Hardman) panics and calls a fair catch. Obviously Sean's defensive scheme was a disgrace on those last 2 plays, but as SVP said on espn that night, "I'd give up a 20 yard return to shave off 5 seconds all day". Pure stupidity by Clappy.
  20. We've seen the last of Levi. I'm almost 100% sure we draft Tre's counterpart @ 25. Wallace was commendable yet usually unspectacular. He's worth no more than 4-5M and that's generous. Of course the same could be said for Edmunds.
  21. This team has no returner right now and I don't think they want to stick Micah on punts long term. I like Berrios or Patterson. Whoever has the lower cap hit.
  22. We don't have the money anyway and even if we did we need to find a real pass rusher. Not this nonsense like Murphy or Addison. I would love a 4.29 wr like Hill but those aren't available.
  23. He absolutely made the right decision. Decompress and tell the pro bowl to go fish. I'm sure he had a great time playing those amazing courses. He's definitely got golf chops.
  24. As the OP said, Isaiah just doesn't come close to having the change of direction or quickness occa Tyreek type. Plus I think the Bills are looking for a returner and we combo. Which clearly due to ball security, McKenzie & Stevenson are not.
