  1. Most private security types are OK. But some, like this Disandro, are over-officious jerks, to steal a phrase from Marv Levy. The dude was way over the line interacting with players on the field. His punishment is very light for the crime. He should be totally suspended for 1 or more games, none of this traveling with the team BS.
  2. I don't get this forum's love for Daboll as Bills HC. He has a unproven record as HC. His OC success could be attributable to luck of the draw--having Josh Allen as QB. At this point in his career, he's a posterboy for the Peter Principle, which is:
  3. Yep. For your jollies, I read your post again. You said: Amok isn't your words, but the bolded passages and your whole post pose McDermott as running amok. I fall back on my original critique of your fuzzy words "from all accounts" and "if allegations are true" and my noting you got the "made him Czar" part wrong.
  4. I look forward to the contrarian feedback from others--people who believe McDermott has run amok with total control of the Bills organization.
  5. The foundation was set in 2017 when both were hired. There isn't even close to enough indicators to suggest that anything has changed since then and that McDermott has morphed into a fully controlling Czar. You do know a "Czar" would run both the coaching side and personnel side? Anyone who thinks that Beane is subordinate to McDermott just isn't paying attention. Or they are seeing just the things that support their world view.
  6. "from all accounts" and "if allegations are true" You are not big on discussing verifiable facts, I see. Not even the "made him czar" comment is verifiable. It is actually refuted: https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/new-bills-gm-brandon-beane-press-conference-sean-mcdermott-carolina-panthers/w5dfu8tam8y51jd21selm3spg
  7. Truth. When he was on the sidelines, Daboll used to blow up at Josh Allen. It's no coincidence that Josh's breakout happened when Daboll moved to the booth. And the conniption Daboll had when Tyrod Taylor called the wrong play against the Bills... I thought he was going to have a stroke.
  8. On my Facebook, 2 hours ago, The Buffalo News: Sean McDermott says support from Bills players was 'clear and much appreciated' In interviews across the locker room, Bills players from veterans to rookies voiced their support of McDermott on Friday, saying the meeting went well. Safety Micah Hyde, who spoke up in the meeting to back McDermott, was adamant that it was a non-issue. That shoots down the narrative popular with some--that he has lost the locker room. I don't know if this link will work: https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/sean-mcdermott-says-support-from-bills-players-was-clear-and-much-appreciated/article_ce393a6c-95ee-11ee-8ef2-cf6d8ef748f6.html
  9. The McDermott 9/11 speech was four years ago. How many of you here can be found not saying something stupid the past four years?
  10. 15 pages of posts in 5 hours. Tyler Dunne accomplished his mission of generating clicks. Three cheers for un-named sources!
  11. The Bills and the Sabres have me feeling blue. The Bills could pull me out with a win this weekend. There's always the Buffalo Bandits or RIT hockey if you want to follow a good team.
  12. I Googled. He's probably earning $20,600 per week on the practice squad. Good work if you can find it.
  13. Yeah. The Special Teams coach, Smiley, is in over his head. He doesn't have the pedigree to be at this level in the NFL.
  14. I remember Steve Tasker predicting them to go all the way.. because of "all the talent on the roster" "Talent" ha ha.
  15. "It’s Chiefs week - and the season is on the line" That's the understatement of the year. @ Chiefs COWBOYS @ Chargers PATRIOTS @ Dolphins We're flirting with having a losing season.
  16. What about Stefon Diggs? Why wasn't he in the game for some third down situations against Philadelphia? He is 30 years old. It's common to lose a step about 31 or 32. There are some exceptions.
  17. Same here. It's pretty depressing. Who thought the Bills would be at .500 and flirting with a losing season.. The Bandits are champions and fun to watch, too bad their TV presence is nil, I'm not going in person.
  18. Captains of Industry? Heh. The point I was leading to: Johnson, Davis, Tepper, Haslam are all running teams that are Class A Clown Shows. They are running their teams into the dirt. You call them qualified, and Kim unqualified? Thanks for the Saturday morning funnies.
  19. Does Woody Johnson, Jets, have this qualification? Does Mark Davis, Raiders, have it? Does David Tepper, Panthers, have it? Does Jimmy Haslam, Browns, have it?
  20. There is evidence of domestic violence. It's all in the hands of the DA right now. The GF can talk until she's blue in the face and it doesn't matter. So the qestions are: What will the DA do? Is he looking for headlines? What and when will Goodell do? This could take months and months.
  21. Heh. I could go for Bill, *IF* he isn't the GM. I don't think his ego would give Brandon Beane the space to operate.
  22. Everyone wants to fire McD, without any thought of replacing him. You have the Madden types who blurt out "back up the Brinks truck for Harbaugh" ...without any thought as to whether he's interested in leaving Michigan where he is King of his own universe, or any thought as to whether he has any interest in tax heavy and snowy WNY. You have the Ben Johnson types...get in line with all the other teams who will fire their HC this season. You have the Daboll types---I hope they're just saying that for laughs. That's a leap of fantasy. You have the "because we have Allen, coach prospects will be lining up at the door" types... Even Frank Reich's name has been bandied by those with terminal nostalgia disease. Reality: you fire McD, it's a complete and total crapshoot as to what will replace him.
