  1. I'm not puffing up my chest about the Red Zone D. It's good, but not exemplary. The Red Zone stops were more a product of Seattle self destructing than of Bills D dominance.
  2. This whole affair reminds me of this quote from the internets: "We live in a time where intelligent people are silenced so that stupid people won’t be offended.” I defend Tom Brady. I never thought I would utter those words.
  3. She was a cutie.
  4. I was not aware of this deal. Thanks for the post. I wonder why they require it to be ordered through the app.
  5. Wegmans has high quality sushi.
  6. Speaking of label clothing... I have this tip: Adidas has an official store on eBay and the prices are very good. https://www.ebay.com/str/adidas?_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l161211 I bought a $20 hoodie from there and really like it. It is steps above the quality you would get from Champion or Hanes.
  7. "Sal’s prediction: Bills 30, Seahawks 24." Pretty ballsy of Sal. I hope he's right. I foresee a closer game than that. That is my memory of visiting Seattle. The rain isn't just a cliche, it's real. If I lived there I would buy a bunch of Goretex waterproof apparel and give the middle finger to the rain, like I do with the snow here.
  8. The homeless problem there is bad and not improving. Aggressive panhandlers are a problem.
  9. I'm so old... How old are you? I went to Seattle for business about 1996. I did a presentation off a flipchart easel (way before PowerPoint) to a hostile audience. It was a nice place then. I understand it has gone downhill since.
  10. Now, you have gone and done it. Here we go....
  11. I was going to say maybe the Offensive Coordinator let down Daboll. But that isn't true, it turns out Daboll is doing the offensive play calling. So he can't blame their ills on anybody else.
  12. I didn't read all four pages, so forgive me if this is a dupe. Memories....
  13. Kamala just keeps digging herself into a hole. From my morning internet surf:
  14. With the plethora of streaming options, maybe the broadcast thread got overly complicated. It seems there are multiple viewing possibilities for each game.
  15. Do you have something against believing what you read? I read it. There is no shortage of that story line in the media. Here it is if you need a kick start: https://www.google.com/search?q=amari+cooper+drops Does one have to see action in person to believe a stat? If that was the standard for commenting, this fan board would be a very empty place. Besides, who watches Cleveland games?
  16. Harrison Mevis kicks the longest FG in SEC history to upset No. 15 Kansas State: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1513320806250278
  17. Cooper hasn't even played a down yet. I withhold judgment until Cooper plays. Will his drops from Cleveland continue, or will he be rejuvenated due to Josh Allen? Having said that, I forecast that Cooper is going to be very good.
  18. Conflict of interest? By the strict definition, yes. But it isn't against any law, it isn't against any NFL rule, it isn't against any Fox policy. So there you have it. It gets filed under "So What"
  19. As some wise poster has said before me, paraphrasing: "Joe Brady can't use the receivers he has, why try to add a prototype WR1" We don't have a receiver problem, we have a coordinator problem. We could trade for a WR1, but you're fixing a problem that we don't have, wasting capital.
  20. Bleacher Report: Nathaniel Hackett Removed as Jets Play-Caller After Saleh Exit; Todd Downing Promoted Bummer. I was looking forward to Hackett's ineptitude.
  21. You got me on that one. Misery isn't the horror genre per se, but I still find it troubling to watch. Christine is a great movie.
  22. The poll results are heavily skewed. There are scads of infrequent posters coming out of the woodwork to vote--the angry are motivated. Sheesh. We're 3-2 in a season where most of us expected to go 10-7 or 9-8. There are some over-reactive fans onboard.
  23. Misery starring James Caan and Kathy Bates. It was ice cold scary. It shows that scary can be done without special effects--just plain old acting. You don't want to get hobbled.
  24. I guess I am more patient and tolerant of the Bills missteps these last two games. In August, I mentally prepared myself for a 10-7 or 9-8 season, so the recent losses don't jar my emotions. All is proceeding as I expected.
