RIP... I think I'll watch Enemy Of The State as tribute. CO problem? I should hope not. A detector is $20. I have two running.

Public service announcement.... Duff's at Eastern Hills Mall makes a very good pizza. It's not Buffalo style, if that's your thing.

The football trifecta and where do the Bills stand?
boater replied to Sweats's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sorry. The is no Bills Trifecta. It is Allen alone, a one-fecta. -
I'm going to vote for someone who turned out to possibly be the Bills worst draft pick ever, Tom Cousineau. Check out the names here (wikipedia): Cousineau was selected first overall in the 1979 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills, who acquired the pick as a part of a package of five draft picks from the San Francisco 49ers in a 1978 trade for O. J. Simpson. However, he never played a game for the Bills. He instead signed with the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes, who signed him for double the money originally offered by the Bills. Cousineau became a star for the Alouettes, becoming the Grey Cup Most Valuable Player in the 1979 season. He only played in four games in his third season because of an elbow injury while the Alouettes collapsed. In 1982, Cousineau wanted to return to the NFL, choosing to forego two optional years with the Alouettes. The Houston Oilers attempted to sign him, but the Bills (who still held Cousineau's NFL rights) matched the offer. Cleveland Browns owner Art Modell had long been interested in signing him. As a result, Cousineau was traded from the Bills to the Cleveland Browns for a first-round draft choice (14th overall) in the 1983 NFL draft, plus a second and a third draft choice in subsequent years. That first-round pick was used on future Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly. Due to his disappointing NFL career, Cousineau is considered to be a draft bust.

Mara and Tisch looking to sell a minority share of the Giants.
boater replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
When you resale your stake of ownership, you'll get a ROI. But at other times, you'll only get cash profits when the majority owner is in the mood to dish out. -
Are retail and restaurant workers getting ruder?
boater replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
Ruder... yes. Don't even get me started on the tipping expectation everywhere, including take out. My rule of thumb: if I have to stand to order, you aren't getting a tip. -

boater replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Who would want to be a minority owner? You lose a big chunk of your cash for nothing. You might get profits when the majority owner is willing to share. You have no say in operations. You only get the vanity of being an owner, that's some expensive vanity. -
Untradable, at least for anything of value. But there are worse things in life than having Milano as a healthy starter for us next year, so I'm not crying in my beer.

That "as much a chance" is an unfounded leap of faith not supported by history. The Bills and other teams new coaches, more often than not, fail to move the needle.

Steelers approach Jags about a Trevor Lawrence Trade
boater replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
"This directly from the horses mouth in the Jags organization." That kind of leak is uncool in the club of NFL GM's. I bet the Steelers are pissed about it. -
Fire McDermott and you stand the likelihood of hiring the next: Kay Stephenson Hank Bullough Gregg Williams Mike Mularkey Dick Jauron Perry Fewell Chan Gailey Doug Marrone Rex Ryan All those coaches were going to lead us to the promised land. Hiring the prodigal son football coach is child's play, anyone can do it. What's wrong with Pegula that he obviously doesn't see that.

Bills Hire Ryan Nielsen Senior Defensive Assistant.

Are you alluding to Babich or McDermott, being the Chef that needs to be changed? -
This GDT is full of Bills bashing, and they aren't even playing. I guess the GDT crowd can't help themselves.

74.. too young to go. RIP coach.

Jerry Jones, you screwed us all! There is a special room in Hell for owners who pay big bucks to mediocrity. They screw the entire system up.

Here is a good video analysis from a pilot, of what we know so far: Did the helo do a right when he should have done a left? -
I will be a guest at a friend's house in Williamsville, NY. As a guest, I make it a point not to go over the top in yelling at the TV. I used to monitor the GDT on my phone but I quit that because there is a funk there.

FWIW... the Bills v. Ravens game may have been the Superbowl.

Didn't Hollins recently say something like "You want the rock, you gotta block"? I like that mentality. Or maybe a poster here said it...LOL.
