Here is something positive---Joe Brady made a successful running game adjustment during the game. Why is that notable? Because Brady is a quarterbacks/passing game coach by training. Despite that, he had the wherewithal to diagnose and fix a running game problem mid-game. The run is important to him. Contrast that to Ken Dorsey the famed QB and QB coach--the running game was a secondary importance to him. His fix to everything was more Allen/Diggs. Dorsey was all about the passing to the neglect of everything else while Brady is the well-rounded coordinator.

Are there non-pivotal moments in football? I kinda thought the whole game was important.

I hope Khalil Mack isn't especially motivated to show Buffalo what they passed on.

I don't care how bad the Chargers are, I'm still anxious about this game.

Yeah, this was a great pickup. Beane is underrated. Rasul Douglas was another great pickup. And Beane's draft picks are starting to pan out: Cook and Kincaid come to mind, but others as well.

An oldie. The entire cast of "Family Affair" in the 1960s. Buffy, Jody, Cissy, and especially Mr French.. all of them--detestable.

We think. We have no way of knowing at all. Fournette hasn't faced game-time intensity and contact since last year. Who knows if he has the burst, strength, and reflexes still. That's why I'd like to see him play Saturday. Better we learn what we have ahead of time rather than experiment in the playoffs.

I wish the Republicans would do something about Obama Care. I just shopped the exchange for a 23-year-old's policy. It was $400 a month with high deductibles. Outrageous. Affordable Care my azz.

Improvement needed by Bills - Special teams

I'd wait until the off-season. Sam Martin is settled in as holder right now. I wouldn't want to disrupt that chemistry this close to the playoffs. -
Improvement needed by Bills - Special teams

I'm not normally a "fire him" type of guy, but I have to say: we need a new special teams coach. 12 men on the field, and KO coverage lapses come to mind. And the Bills sorely need a speedy return man. They got nothing. When Hines is recuperated, will he have his speed back? I don't know. And Matt Araiza would be a nice upgrade to Sam Martin. Almost anything will be an upgrade to Martin. -
Now can we stop getting reports of how well Moss and Singletary are doing, as if we shouldn't have let them go?

Bar Bill, Danny's and Polked Yolk... you're doing things on my TO DO list--and I LIVE HERE. To be fair to myself, I live up North and don't make it to that part of town often. Yes: cheers to an injury free game and I hope you have good rain wear.

2023 Playoff Bills better than the 2021 Bills?
boater replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall
By most fantasy sites, the Bills defense ranks in the middle of the 32 teams. Not good. Not bad. I'm afraid that won't be enough. Not enough for a deep playoff run, maybe not even to make it to the playoffs. I will be more optimistic if they hold the Cowboys down. PS: McDermott better hire a DC next year. Being DC waters down his attention span in other critical areas. -
It’s Dallas week and the Division is on the line!

I wish Micah Parsons hadn't mentioned Allen being on the cover of Madden. I thought we put that curse behind us. That was a shrewd move. Advanced psychological warfare. That SOB. -
Agree. There will be two new safties. I'm not sold on both Cam Lewis and Tyler Rapp. They may start one. I know they aren't going to draft a starter... so what fruit can be found on the FA market? Beane was kicking the can down the road with safety, now he's forced to deal with it.

Al Michaels out for NFL playoffs on NBC in move he wasn't expecting

He is 79? I didn't know that. He looks pretty good for his age. I gotta agree though, his broadcasts are on the sleepy side. Must be because he's 79. -

Yeah... can Dallas stop Allen from running? Allen ran straight into the line a few times in KC, but his TD run was epic the way he carried tacklers into the end zone: https://www.buffalobills.com/video/bulldozer-josh-allen-carries-tacklers-on-a-six-yard-touchdown-run-bills-at-chief Spy... doesn't use of a spy use up a LB who could otherwise cover a zone or player? It seems to me having a dedicated spy would create mismatches that the offense could exploit. I don't know, spies do seem to work against Josh.
