The schedule is usually updated late in the summer. It's just one of those quirks that makes TBD loveable. But if you absolutely can't wait:

When you have a whale of a contract like Josh Allen's ($55mil AAV) on your roster, you are limited in the number of other big contracts you can dish out. Beane has said as much. If the QB was Fitzpatrick or some other JAG QB, I suspect Beane would invest more in the RB position--because he would have the money to do so. But the QB is soaking up $55mil a year and options are constrained. Cook might get $10mil from a team in 2026 and that team will not be the Bills.

Allen throws three interceptions.... Rocky's coach was right: women weaken legs. QB play is all foot work 😆

The jury is out on whether the voodoo of void years works. Philadelphia has used void years extensively, I'd like to see how their situation looks a year or two from now. I half expect bad things for them.

Dude has probably been going to the local Wegmans all Spring without people bothering him. I know I wouldn't recognize him. -

I remember Josh eating the turkey leg on national TV after the win. I imagine Jerry Jones head exploded when viewing that. -
"Bishop isn't tough enough" "Kincaid is too skinny" May and June are dry times at the TSW watering hole.

In Executive years... he's just a baby. That's the age senior executives hit their stride. He has another 10 years left in him. -
I honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. But also in my thoughts are the ones left behind. In my time in the service I am grateful to have never lost a battle buddy. But at the Veterans clinic, I know many who have lost buddy's and they take Memorial Day really hard. It isn't BBQs and picnics for them. Their lives are full of Survivor's Guilt and second guessing. My thoughts are always with them on Memorial Day. I also remember the families and loved ones left behind. They had a loved one ripped away from them, usually in a violent manner. Their heart may heal but it will always bear scars.

Possibly moving back to WNY: northtowns or southtowns?
boater replied to Ned Flanders's topic in Off the Wall
For me, it was an age related decision. Snow removal is fun and games until you are 65-ish. After that it becomes a burden. I liked the real estate and lifestyle in the Southtowns better, but since it was a house that I planned on being in until age 75 or more, I chose the Northtowns with less snow. Even with the decreased snow in Amherst, I find wrestling with a snow blower at my age to be an unpleasant experience. I have sidewalks to clear and the town is quick to fine* people who don't clear snow--so I have no choice. * they don't fine you per se, the town will actually uninvited come clear your sidewalk for you and charge you a couple hundred bucks for doing so -
One of those awful years yielded the #1 overall draft pick which ended up being Bruce Smith. Silver lining.

Sign him....? Every time you sign some marginal old goat player veteran you are taking away a roster spot from a developing player. The Bills have some nice new young blood I want to see on the roster before Davis.

I don't think the Bills like the plan either, but it's a plan born out of necessity. They just don't have the funds for a play maker. Beane has pretty much said that.

Football, sure if he was in to it. But I would push other sports before football. I would push rowing the most. That's a lifelong sport (and also where the scholarships if that is your thing). Peeps in Buffalo have a fantastic resource in the world class West Side Rowing Club. Also, lacrosse. Just because that seems like fun. There are also scholarships.

Good stuff. Here is a more specific link to the video: You can also watch the classical version, also great:

Oof. Rough neighborhood. Game day traffic is going to be epic. I get vertigo just thinking about being on those upper decks.

No running back was selected. I kind of expected one in the 4th or 5th. And poor Joe Brady. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.

I wouldn't be shocked if Beane traded up in round two. He has a stash of nine more picks, they don't need that.

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
boater replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Speed... we haven't had much of it, so this is a refreshing pick. This will be fun to watch. For the old timers, 40 yard dash times: Don Beebe: 4.25 (he claims a 4.21 in a workout with the Jets) Max Hairston: 4.28 I knew Beebe was fast, but not that fast.
