Davis: 2 carries for 1 yard. Enough said. Bring on Gore. -
Coming out party for the D-Line Sunday Night
boater replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope you're right. We're overdue for some pressure on the QB. Beane spent the offseason building up the DL... and so far all we have is a rubber biscuit. -
How very true. I'd bet there is a correlation between someone's tenure as a fan and their appreciation for the team today. Plot: X axis=fan tenure in years, Y axis=how much they appreciate the team as it is today. Thesis: the "Super Bowl or Bust" types, or the "Fire McDermott" types are younger fans who know only the good years and don't appreciate the entertainment provided by the current team. the more patient and appreciative fans are older ones who lived through 4 Super Bowls, and/or the drought.

NY's Draft State Energy Plan is at this link: https://energyplan.ny.gov/Get-Involved/Comment also at the link, is a link to a form to submit your feedback. Many people heard about all-electric new home construction starting this January. What many people don't know, replacing natural gas water heaters, stoves, furnaces after 2030 is prohibited--if your gas equipment goes kaput after 2030, you must buy an electric solution (most likely a heat pump). Many people don't know this and many people don't know the ramifications. For me, a heat pump is a non-option for many reasons I won't detail here. It may be the case for you too. And my gas stove or hot water heater... they can pry those from my cold dead hands. You might also have opinions on: the readiness of the power grid to do this, the price of electricity, the demand for electricity in the age of AI data centers, the ban on what they used to call "clean burning natural gas" etc. You may have all kinds of opinions. Let Albany know your thoughts!

Week 5, Cheats v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
boater replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 31 Patriots 27 Drake Maye is very good, and the Bills defense stinks. -

I suspect even the best fitted knee or ankle brace degrades from natural foot function. Foot motion as precise as punting is sensitive and requires all natural biomechanics. This isn't like Gronk wearing an elbow brace. He could get away with that because TE doesn't require such fine biomechanics. ...just my amateur Kinesiologist speaking...

Bills asking fans to wear all white for the Pats game on Sunday

TMI. This is a family message board. LOL. -
I didn't have a lot of confidence in the promotion of Babich. I'd say his seat is hot. The first question is: a. take action now, in season b. wait until the season is over The second question is: a. keep him b. keep him, but have McDermott do the DC duties c. fire him, hire from the outside d. fire him, promote somebody from within I vote for doing something now--and making McDermott the DC. He has a very good track record at doing that.

They have a name for that, it is called The Peter Principle: The Peter Principle theorizes that employees in most organizational hierarchies automatically rise through promotion to higher positions. However, competent employees will be promoted, but will ultimately assume positions for which they are incompetent.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
boater replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
The shoulda coulda would haves hindsight people. The Worthy trade sucks and our draft pick trade netted the Chief's Mahomes. Frick'en Beane. -
9/28/2025 Bills vs Saints post game thread
boater replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've never seen people so upset and bitter about a victory. The Bills success since 2017 has made some of the fan base: entitled. entitled--feeling that you have the right to do or have what you want without having to work for it or deserve it, just because of who you are. Some Bills fans expect nothing less than a clean victory, just because they are the Buffalo Bills. They squeal like stuck pigs in the face of any adversity. -
Run defense ? Let’s see how it works today.
boater replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Run D is not the weakest point. 3rd down D is the weakest point. (though, run D does suck) -
The Sabres deliberately tanked games to try and draft Connor McDavid. Deliberate losing introduced a cancer into the locker room that they still haven't shaken off 10 years later. Deliberately fumbling or losing is heresy and would scuttle the 2025 season.

Robert Kraft to sell a minority stake of the Patriots
boater replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I may sell a minority part of my house to investors. Need to cash out. -
I miss Van Miller. During the old days of television blackouts, I learned football by visualizing his broadcasts.

This is an unsubstantiated blanket accusation from Saleh. Without any evidence, it is the product of emotional ranting and sloppy intellect. If he had made accusations that did not indict all of an entire coaching tree, he would have my ear. But due to it's flaws, I have to disregard this statement in it's entirety.

Crazy Criminal Case: Albany, NY Double Homicide
boater replied to BringBackFergy's topic in Off the Wall
It's a good day when criminals ***** up. If the reporters were not acting as agents of the Police... the confession is admissible if it was not coerced. If the defense has evidence that the media were agents of the Police, they would certainly play that card and possibly win. Though, I bet there is other incriminating evidence in this case--this guy doesn't seem like a master criminal. -
Yeah. I remember premature high expectations for Kaiir Elam, we all know how that went. (###, I shouldn't have said that, I fear jinxing)

James Cook is marketing the James Cookie. I bought one at Tops for $2.50. It was merely OK. With "praline-coated pretzels, rice crispy crunchies, toffee bits, white chocolate, and red, white and blue sprinkles" it sounded promising. I was looking forward to it based on the description. Review: it is possible to have too much of a good thing (all those tasty ingredients). It was sickly sweet. I liked the pretzel and wish it had more of that. The texture was a bit too crumbly. Definitely start with buying one for yourself, just for the experience, bragging rights, and taste test. You might like it's unique sugary kink, if so, then buy more. I could imagine an unopened package of this cookie in many Bills memorabilia collections, right next to the box of Josh's Jaqs (BTW some dude is selling Josh's Jaqs on eBay for $20 a box plus $9 shipping, it takes all kinds of people in this world).

Kick the dog... he also said ###### once. I have a soft spot for people who speak unfiltered. They seem more genuine, what you see is what you get. EDIT: it's funny that the bad word I said that Brady said, was ####'d by the board software

I got my first pair of hearing aids, they did nothing for me. In fact, they made things worse. I shoved them aside and didn't wear them for a year. Finally, I took them into the audiologist and told her. She disappears into the backroom with them, she comes out later and says "no wonder you don't like them, they are broken." So the whole time I had them, they served as expensive ear plugs instead of hearing aids. Note: the hearing aids were from the Veteran's Hospital, so they were low bidder
