  1. This is so betarded Stick to Sumo Wrestling Japan This is for football I concede I'm probably not intellectual enough to understand Haiku's or Yoko Ono.
  2. I understand there's a tradition. I was speaking directly to the appeal of a Haiku and why in the world anyone on this side of the Pacific Ocean should give a damn.
  3. I remember something about Haiku's in middle school English class. I didn't understand why we were wasting our time with something so uninteresting. I still can't figure out what makes a Haiku appealing to anyone or in any way worthwhile. They seem REALLY stupid. Change my mind.
  4. Yeah, as long his kids are happy (with no mother, thanks to their sociopath murdering father) I guess that's cool. I would have snorted up a big green loogie and aimed it square at his oversized face.
  5. Isn’t it curious how people see things so differently. My wife and I both love Steve. I was going to take her for a taping. It’s done locally and a close friend of mine does all the video stuff for the show. I can’t tell you why, but I hate Jack Black and Jimmy Fallon. Many people love them. So it goes. Is the white dude Mitch Trubisky?
  6. Allen's woman is hotter than anything those two have had and Mahome's brother is an @-hole. End of discussion.
  7. Agree about the all reds. Looks like one a dem union suits a prospector from an old cowboy movie might have worn. That said, they did look great in the blizzard against the Colts.
  8. Yeah, I like the 7:15 start. I can handle it ending before 11pm. I'm often at work by 5am (beating Atlanta traffic and a few hours of no interuptions). Thursday I left work around 10:30am, took my usual mid-afternoon snooze, and then took Friday off to sleep in while visions of superbowls danced in me head. So glad the west coast can enjoy the Monday night games, but other than those in which the Bills have played, I've hardly seen any Monday nighters in years. I'm usually snoring on the sofa by 9:30.
  9. We beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead then lost in overtime after not getting the offense back on the field. They don't scare me. The Bills are better than last year, and the Chiefs are arguably weaker without Hill.
  10. So either I misunderstood what Steratore was saying or CBS has a contributing former official getting paid decently to comment on rules, but he doesn't actually know them that well.
  11. Since we’re talking about Pittsburgh/Cinci… The Chase catch for the TD that wasn’t. CBS contributor/commentator and ex-official Gene Steratore stated that as long as it was a completed pass and the receiver’s foot was on the white line of the end zone, it should be a TD, regardless of whether or not the ball crossed the plane. Anyone want to weigh in on that statement? Not sure it’s true. Fwiw, it shouldn’t have mattered-the ball was over the line. Here’s proof. I can’t believe the Bengals coach didn’t challenge. IMO, not challenging may have cost them the game.
  12. I have almost no memory of this game. Strange, as I had traveled from Atlanta to be there. My only memory is that I went to Buffalo with my wife, but she stayed home with my folks and I went to the game with (I presume) my brother. In those days, the season began on Labor Day weekend, which I always loved. I could go spend a few days in WNY, go to the home opener, have a paid holiday, and use few PTO days for that mini-vacation. The NFL start got moved to the week after Labor Day at some point when they figured it was cutting into their TV viewing numbers. But, it's weird that I just don't remember anything about the game itself.
  13. Laid back as all get out. He must have the skill set that Dorsey and McD want to utilize, but somehow, I don’t see his personality (my impression) fitting with the group of characters on the Bills. I sense he’s more of a solitary figure who’d rather just go home than go for a beer with the guys when asked. I guess as long as he can perform on Sunday it doesn’t make much difference.
  14. If they’re behind by 2 touchdowns they’re probably not going to burn their precious minutes chipping away on the ground. Especially if the Bills keep answering with more points.
  15. Well, in fairness there are an awful lot of ‘new fans’ out there who’ve never gotten a Bills sweatshirt for Christmas and are now jumping on the Bills bandwagon like Afghanis on a C-5 transport plane. We’re just getting them caught up.😊
  16. The key will be to let Allen & Co loose, balls to the wall, and get enough of a lead to force the Tit’ns into playing catch-up with a passing game, negating Henry and their run game’s effectiveness.
  17. He’s F-ing Josh Allen. His legs are part of his greatness. I’m amused by hand-wringing ninnies who worry constantly that he might get hurt. They’re like the over protective mommies who are scared their precious babies can’t ride their bicycles without a suit of armor. Josh was probably in the mix more than we’d prefer, but the Bills were setting the tone for 2022 and exorcising the 13 second demons in the process. I believe we’ll see more sliding and running to the sidelines in coming weeks. But when run opportunities present themselves and keep drives alive, I want Josh to be Josh. He’s a big boy. I’d be more concerned for the guy in the secondary. QBs are probably more vulnerable standing prone in the pocket taking a blow from a 300 lb DT. Just hope he’s wearing his elbow pads and pink bicycle helmet when he rides his bike over to his friend’s house.
  18. There was a lot of buzz that the Browns would take Allen with the 2018 first pick. Supposedly their personnel people were unanimous with that choice but were overruled by owner Jimmy Haslam who wanted Mayfield. The stars really did align for the Buffalo Bills that day. Has Beane or anyone with the organization ever publicly stated whether Allen was at the top of their board over Darnold and Mayfield? Truly amazing maneuvering to move into position to draft Allen.
  19. This one is a homecoming in front of an out of control fan base Following a decisive victory over the world champs. Titans may Set a record for most false starts.
  20. It was indeed fortunate and serendipitous that the Bills: A. Picked the right guy B. Denver didn’t trade with Seattle AND didn’t take a QB C. Browns and Jets made very Brownsy and Jetsy choices with Mayfield and Darnold. D. Tampa Bay was a willing trade partner allowing Bills to get to # 7 and ahead of Arizona. It could have gone so differently. Maybe after years of the dark cloud that’s cursed Bills fans, the sun is finally shining on us.
  21. They’re getting it done in a single season and will continue to upgrade in that manner because Beane and McD have created a culture that attracts free agents. The icing on the cake is a QB who is a likeable leader that is rapidly becoming a historical player. Talented players want to join this club and may even sacrifice a greater payday for the opportunity to be on a team that is a legitimate contender to hoist the Lombardi.
  22. Their offense has zero need for the timeouts, so may as well get a preview of what the opposition has planned by seeing how they line up. Then, the Bills can adjust their defensive call or force the other team to go with plan B. the game was already in hand, but they still have their pride and didn’t want the Rams to score. It worked. Bills got the ball back. Victory formation. 21 points differential. unlikely that it could happen, but that can be a tie-breaker come playoff time. (As if…..)
  23. Fantastic news! Prayers and best wishes for and healthy pregnancy for mom and baby. Cheers!
  24. Sean McVay’s record speaks for itself. I have little doubt they’ll remain a contender. They still have great playmakers on both sides of the ball.
  25. Enjoy the lead while we can. Sadly, barring a tie ball game, they’ll have to share that standing with a division rival. 😁
