From what I saw this past Saturday, Rousseau DOES look like the project you had initially thought he was. He's got work to do and a little bulk to add. I feel like he'll be able to hit the ground running next season but he'll only be involved in spot duty this season. Very talented player with a great wing span but he got owned by backup level tackles on Saturday. Boogie looked to be getting consistent push in his reps while in there but of course he is a completely different kind of player.

I am curious to see the approach. Moss and Breida are more suited to it, but there's a chance Singletary can adjust and still be interchangeable between the 3 of them. He's a good pass protector like Moss is so... we shall see.

It tells us for sure that they are staying with the zone run-blocking scheme and not returning to a man based scheme like from 2 years ago. Zone requires the more athletic and lateral movement traits in linemen. Definitely makes it more of a challenge for folks like John to make the starting lineup, along with Singletary (as BADOL pointed out in another thread).

Yep excellent game plan. Kelly was coming back early from a pretty bad knee injury and could barely move or put any lower body into his throws. Thurman was the dolphin killer (and Kenny D contributed too!).

I agree. I've felt like in this camp it would come down to Kumerow vs. Jones for one of the final roster spots. This also would likely mean trying to keep Hodgins on the practice squad (hopefully).

Josh Allen 88 overall. That seems nice until you see there are like 6 QB's ahead of him, including Lamar at 91. They're getting better taking the Bills seriously but have a little way to go.

Nate Odomes was such an underrated corner in his time with the Bills.

I feel like this is a public health related decision and the Bills will again participate in joint practices as soon as next season.

We ruined this kid in the pre-season of his rookie (I think...if not 2nd year) year. Anybody recall?

Well that's just it, exactly. Let's say the Bills in 2021 are 5-10% better in the running game, thus statistically giving more of the offensive total yardage for the season to the running game. Meanwhile Josh is playing in yet another year of the same system, is even better at reading defensive coverages and schemes, and has more continuity with his teammates. Joshes #'s in this scenario likely will be slightly lower than last years overall passing stats. But is Josh a worse QB? Certainly not. In fact he'd be a better QB. Is the offense not even better with the added threat of the running game? Still you will see articles claiming they were all correct about Josh's "regression" and patting themselves on the back. PFF does track some good information, but like everything else out there it needs to be used in the proper context if its going to be used at all for anything other than entertainment.

Very good and consistent player that I rooted for a lot as a bright spot on a "growing" team. Sad to see he passed so young.

Just keep yammering and yelling in to the wind for more or "better" rb's to replace the ones we already have, and don't listen to the sound and well thought out takes by many of us as to why the backs we have are plenty good for our scheme and what the Bills are trying to accomplish on offense. Moving on.

Singletary dropped a pass. He's a plenty good back. 2019 was excellent for a rook. Last year was solid, good ypc considering and often got stopped a yard or 2 behind the LOS, which is mostly out of his control. Moss looks nice too. They play an offensive scheme which most often rolls out 4 WR's on the field and no TE. If not then 3 WR's and 1 TE. Running the ball for the Bills is a matter of creating balance or perceived balance. This backfield group they have is plenty well equipped to achieve what this offense needs out of them.

Opted out after a 15 sack season. This guy would have gone top 10 if he played in 2020. On that alone it’s worth the pick. Big frame too and doesn’t need to grow into his nfl form.
