  1. At the stadium, we saw the deep pass play to Mecole as a drop. Was that truly not the case?
  2. Trying to adjust for steady 30 mph winds with gusts might have had something to do with a couple of those throws as well. It affects the touch passes more than the rifle shots.
  3. How is this an active thread?
  4. Yeah nah. Other opinions aside and appreciated with all due respect, I think Marino got it right on the 2 deep plays he talked about with KC. Again, struggling player, not living up to expectations, etc etc. All that is true, but I’m sticking with Joe here. . It matches what I saw. 5. From Joe Marino after reviewing the film of the passing game: "Unfortunately, the two uncatchable passes that I charted in this game were both on deep balls to Coleman on reps that Coleman actually had separation. On the first instance, Coleman had his man stacked vertically with inside leverage, but Allen threw the ball out of bounds to Coleman’s outside shoulder. The other was severely underthrown, and the defensive back swatted it away while Coleman had to turn around for it despite having vertical leverage." This was in line with what we saw live. But then again, Keon is the whipping boy of TBD, so carry on with making him seem ridiculously useless, instead of what he is, a struggling and so far under-performing young player that gets utilized oddly.
  6. 💩 we've made deadline trades like 3 out of the last 4 years
  7. especially a massively overrated one
  8. This is all we can ask for as fans. Its encouraging to know. The Bills can't make the other team pull the trigger.
  9. I've heard that a lot this year, and even thought it myself a couple times but film review has consistently shown him playing pretty well this year.
  10. For them to be split even is obseen , and shows just how ignorant fans are across the league
  11. I hear ya. Just meant for a dt he’s definitely not fat
  12. not to mention Oliver isn't even fat, but hey, fan forums encourage BS! Now Big Phil on the other hand....
  13. yep and they have for ages. My life time steelers fan friend laughs every year about it since I can remember (he knows Tomlin is actually a very good head coach). I'm with Happy Days though on the point that they are like the drought Bills and need to take their medicine and crash out (but not that they need to fire Tomlin). By the way, the steelers fans hated Bill Cowher too.
  14. Some rando report has absolutely nothing to do with Beane. Once you realize or understand that, maybe it'll reduce your angry response emoji to just 1 instead of 3. Part 2 - Myers is not a slot WR although he has played that role. He has played high percentages outside as well.
  15. Thanks that makes sense! I'll still count them for my evaluation of Max.
  16. @HappyDays - I wonder why Carl Jones said Max wasn't targeted in his little blurb about his video clip when he was clearly thrown at 2 times? (both incomplete)
  17. Wasn't the missed time at Kentucky due to like an infection even?
  18. We all know at this point that a true boundary Wr is needed on this team. The issue with the "data" presented idea that the WR's are NEVER getting open is that all you have to do is look with your own eyes, and you'll see that while yes, it is true that they are often struggling to get open, there are ALSO times where receiving options ARE open. There were no less than 3 times yesterday where Coleman came open (by a significant amount) on his route. I actually saw him used on a crosser! I almost passed out. Moore also came open on a number of routes, one that Josh missed him awfully on. There were other examples of this as well. Watch the game back (even the regular tv cast shows these) if you don't believe me. In the case of yesterday, Josh missed these open options. He needs to be better too. And yes, overall, the receiving options we have typically are lacking good separation.... I thought it was also interesting that when Mitch came into the game, he threw 2 passes and completed them to "NFL open" receivers that were only open by a half yard or so. Largely this is a WR problem yes, but NOT entirely.
  19. of course its very natural for a young player to get like 500% worse at tackling from one season to the next?
  20. right probably a lie by the team or a conspiracy... much more plausible! Not
  21. That would be ideal! Just reacting to the hot takers
  22. so Rapp... while never more than an average starter, had a missed tackle rate last season of around 3 percent. THIS year we have found out that he's been injured (knee) since training camp and this season he has a missed tackle rate of around 25 percent. And the conclusion is that Rapp should never see the field again for the Bills this season??? That doesn't make sense... Again, I understand that even at full capacity he is a replacement worthy player. But we should be careful what we wish for. If he heals from this injury and gets back to his 2024 form, is that better than an old Poyer? Might be. We know its better than a healthy Hamlin. Dramatic conclusions are more fun, I get it, but...
  23. Jet motion running plays have been an effective part of offensive football at all levels for many, many years. That's not disputable. I was upset with the attempt to give it to a tight end, who is not a typical ball handler, so I am with you there. I was also upset with not going with our QB or star RB to get 2 yards in 2 plays on a more simple run play, so I am with you there. Beyond that, you are reacting to results in a tiny sample size. We've seen the Chiefs win games with the same play.
  24. That's a very interesting flyer we could take. Sure he's a big injury risk but probably wouldn't take to much to acquire.
