  1. Very strange isn't it? I think part of it is just that fans are used to the running game being the Bills top priority and needing a top 10 rb stud in the stable. 26 and 20 are doing quite well based on what they are asked to do in this offense. Both offer a lot of well rounded traits although neither will typically outrun a corner (so what). 26 still managed a 50 plus yd TD. They both pass protect extremely well too. The few failures at times in running the ball this year has been about allowing defenders to penetrate and stop them in the backfield. JA is about to secure a massive chunk of our cap and its going to likely be 3rd round pick, rookie contract based backs for the foreseeable future. And thats just fine! Our offense (and the league for the most part) is about passing the ball.
  2. Lmao cut him!!! The world that you must live in to make a point like that in an all pro play ob for that corner. Let it go man he is REALLY good for a 4 th round rook. Period
  3. Do we still want to replace Gabriel Davis?
  4. That’s fair but all I am saying here is they give us all we need in this scheme which is built Around our qb spreading the ball around 35-40 times per game in most cases. They don’t hurt our cap a bit either and in the big picture that is going to be huge. They are both plenty productive
  5. Ummm? maybe read it again? If it isn't obvious, my thoughts would be unique for each affected person based on what we know about said person and thats what we know about Kroft. He's a plugger, a selfless player who knows sacrifice in his role, and is a brand new dad, likely on high alert for safety related things.
  6. "I wonder if the Antonio Williams call up means they aren't happy with Singletary or Moss and want to see what Williams can do. " That’s straight up nuts. Both backs have been productive most of the year, and good blockers in the passing game when called upon. Playing out their roles exactly how the team appears to want them to. When they’ve struggled to run this season it’s been because d lineman are 2 yards deep in our backfield
  7. I’d bet that Kroft WAS diligently following all protocols. You don’t just get Covid from hanging out with crowds. He is a stand up, hard working, follow the rules to a T kinda guy from all we’ve seen. Your thoughts here are pretty short sighted
  8. That's a good one! I was thinking Steve Young '88 to '89 but that's a better one I think.
  9. LOL. he said after one of Josh’s “off” weeks ( TItans maybe) that wasn’t really that off , that you could not improve accuracy from what you were at coming into the league. I don’t know if he’s said much since then. But he said this THIS YEAR is the most funny part for me
  10. But Terry Bradshaw told us this was impossible!
  11. Gotcha yeah thx... I think Allen would be much more vague or less confident sounding about it based on his typical responses
  12. Not sure if you interpreted what I said the way I intended. Also not sure what you mean there...
  13. “We” being the key word. Anyone want to bet against the likeliest outcome being what Josh implied? Josh is a very tempered and calculated interviewee. He’s not gonna say something like this Willie Nillie. If he did, it would be the first ever example of it.
  14. As silly as it may sound, the most likely outcome on Cole will be what you heard from Josh Allen’s comments and positive tone in his conference today. Chance to play Sunday but not likely. Much better chance to be good by the playoff game. Players have a way of revealing without revealing.
  15. Holy crap the shade on G Davis in this thread is puzzling. He's displayed good, strong hands for most of the season, knows every WR position's role on the offense to the level of a vet according to his teammates, has made plays in the role his been given in the offense (3rd / 4th WR option) and has a good number of TD's. He's also been a good blocker on the outside. I think the Bills make it very clear that he is an important piece. Also, he is not a quick, route master type such as what you see in Bease, Diggs and JB. That doesn't make him suck. Craziness, I say.
  16. From NFL.com : Here’s a breakdown of how each team’s opponents are set: Six games against divisional opponents — two games per team, one at home and one on the road. Four games against teams from a division within its conference — two games at home and two on the road. Four games against teams from a division in the other conference— two games at home and two on the road. Two games against teams from the two remaining divisions in its own conference — one game at home and one on the road. Matchups are based on division ranking from the previous season.
  17. Its allowed in NYS. I've been on fanduel for 4 years now. There was a short time where it wasn't and was then remedied within a couple months I believe. You just have to stay in tax compliance with net winnings.
  18. It's a trap really. At this point in his development, there is no real "best way" to defend JA. It's more of a "pick your poison" at this point. That's the upside that Josh revealed as early as year 1. That when he's on, there is no weak area of his to attack, and you have to defend the entire field.
  19. He’s actually been playing extremely well for about 4 weeks straight now
  20. Wha wha wha whaaaaatt?????? That was an absolute thing of beauty. Perfection. Reminded me of the PATS in Brady's prime.
  21. Stats can really only be compared against other stats during the context of the season they are part of. The Bills D has gone from awful early on to slightly above average in the 2020 league, statistically. I tend to judge by watching the actual game and understanding what the plan is against the opponent of the week, and knowing who is playing and who is not, and then follow it with watching film reviews. That's just me. When arguments are all based on points and yards and other numbers with no meat (ie. talk about whats happening on the field), it really shouldn't sway an argument much. It's more of a piece of information that could be used within an argument to help prove whatever the point is. Simms does a good job of analysis based on what is occurring on the field.
  22. The other massively encouraging thing about McD is that he has shown time and time again the willingness to grow and change (ie. data analysis based game day decision making, cutting the chord early on a "mistake" player, ). He is developing just like our QB is.
  23. To me, both are worthy HOF'ers. It's not down to one or the either either, so that's convenient. With a gun to my head I'd choose Faneca because he was the best or top 2 in his position for a very long run.
  24. Shaw, you are one of my favorite posters. Regarding the Josh point. Josh's following abilities easily make him a top 5 QB in the NFL today. - avoid the rush - extend plays - throw on time and on target with both velocity and touch sometimes even while under contact or off his base - read defenses and make adjustments - run the ball for large chunks of yardage in both scramble situations and designed runs - utilize the entire field on any given play, making the defense stay honest or pay - operate an offense with no running game balance - lead his team on game tying or leading drives when down Watch more of the all 22 breakdowns and compare to his peers. Cover1 does some really good ones that break Josh down weekly. Here's a fun look at the season so far for Josh : Josh's season to date
  25. 2 - Steve Christie 12 - Jim Kelly (17 is closing fast though!) 20 - Joe Cribbs 34 - Thurman 40 - Rob Riddick 56 - Sam Cowart 67 - Kent Hull 78 - Bruce 83 - Andre 97 - Cornelius Bennett
