Sure but their backfield overall is quite inept (Ingram included) and I see this as a nice gesture to Ingram to go back to his old team and be a backup on a competitive team.
-
as if Ingram even helped the Texans backfield, Cooks ...

From what I observe and read around the league, there is somewhat of a widespread shortage of good guard play out there, even amongst starting lineups. Lots of teams have zero good guards and very few have 2 that are above replacement level. Teller hurts but those things do happen.

22 cases against him. let me ask this simple question… Are these 22 cases all part of one claim ( like a massage parlor or something) or are some of these separate and unrelated to each other? If the answer is that some are unrelated to each other, I don’t see him ever seeing the field again in the NFL.

The Edmunds Report - Week 6, Bills v. Titians, 10/18/21
34-78-83 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have heard Turner critique Tremaine before as well. Turner is pretty much always spot on. Atleast for the last 3 years. He just usually made sure in the past to state that people's critique of Tremaine was overblown for prior seasons (which is true, but maybe he was defending him a little too much?). I am in line with Badol's point though that this year is significantly an improvement for Tremaine, and really the first time he's showed this aggression and burst in his game. Once I began to see it in Tremaine's play this year, it immediately made sense what Badol was trying to point out before... -
All-22 Grades for Bills/Titans (The Athletic)

looks pretty damn good in these plays where he was part of the action. Shows the same aggression and burst we've seen in previous games this year. He truly is playing different this season than ever before, and he needed to be. Hopefully it continues! My review would have had Hughes, Tre Day, Edmunds and Phillips as the 4 best performing players on defense in this game. -
The Edmunds Report - Week 6, Bills v. Titians, 10/18/21

I am going a lot off of Erik Turner's film review and my recollection of the game... The LB's honored the run first on play action plays, and thus were sucked in a bit naturally. Those passes across the middle were mostly between 10 and 20 yards. Corners were trail technique on the routes to the inside it looked like as well. Safeties were just a hair late coming down. I saw even the corners biting on the PA all night as well at different times. -

Those WR's getting open over the middle in the 2nd half were past the drop point of the LB's... So your point is a good one in general, but not necessarily a detriment on the LB's in this case. The Safeties and Corners needed to pick up the slack there. -

It's great to see Tremaine playing at a higher level with consistency this season, and being way more physical. This organization really is starting to show a nice track record of developing their players. Six games is more than a blip at this point and that's VERY encouraging. He's been one of the top players on this defense this year! consider down and distance? -
Can't wait until the Bills offense finally starts clicking
34-78-83 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m just not going to worry about the offense that has averaged over 30 per game and had to play in 30mph gusts, 25 mph gusts and 2 torrential rain storms in 4 of its 5 games played. -
I predict the Chiefs will be in the playoff mix still by the end of the season. But is sure is nice to have gotten past that hurdle (no pun intended!:) )

Are Passer Rating and QBR Obsolete?
34-78-83 replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Once there is a rating system that takes into account the offensive scheme being run, the wind/rain, and the ability to make the proper read and throw the ball accordingly on a play by play basis (along with the other usual measures) somebody please let me know... 🙂 I'm thinking there will never be such a thing so it will remain subjective. -

ELO ratings - https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2021-nfl-predictions/quarterbacks/ and LOL, Trubisky is still the 2nd rated in the division -
Other guy was right. While you are correct the company can wipe your phone once you are registered with your company's O365 / intune on it, they CANNOT see your text messages or other personal items not included in the O365 suite. Its not a "your company may not, mine does" thing. It's literally not possible.

Bridgewater played yesterday. Or are you saying he got hurt again? I don't think he did.

10/10/21 Gameday SNF Bills @ Chiefs Postgame Thread
34-78-83 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
The roughing the passer on Oliver was just a weak as the Clark driving Allen to the ground roughing, as Oliver was blocked low into the QB, and the play was just as impactful, along with the holdings you mentioned. Don't forget about the Trey Day PI when both players were hand fighting and the pass sailed 5 yards out of bounds. The Bills were definitely on the short side of the calls last night. -
This ^^ There's only one football out there. These are good problems to have.

Tremaine Edmunds named AFC Defensive Player of the Week
34-78-83 replied to nato7412's topic in The Stadium Wall
Best 2 games of Edmunds career so far are this past one as you mentioned, and in the AFC Wild Card game vs. Houston , Jan 2020. He was a monster in that game! -
report- Empire State Development downtown stadium proposal
34-78-83 replied to loyal2dagame's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pretend? We're talking about stadium parking here. What kind of tool would I have to be to hide facts to make a point about stadium parking? Take my comment with the given that it takes some time to get out of there no matter where the stadium is, that better? Generally we are out and on the 90 in 20 min from ECC. -

While that's true (I don't tailgate at all but am a season ticket holder) we enjoy the multitude of parking options (we park at ECC) and the variety of exit options that OP offers. I don't feel like that would be the case down town, would it? I foresee tons of traffic congestion. I realize other cities deal with it but I haven't been to NFL games in other cities. -
The Bills can be "firing on all cylinders" and getting wins and still have struggles throughout the game in various areas against the really good teams (like KC). These are not mutually exclusive things. Do you watch the SEA vs SF, PIT vs BAL games ever when both teams are good? There a boatload of mistakes and successes on either side throughout the game. These are not bounces of luck or ref calls typically, they are good opponents who are also getting paid and the teams know each other inside and out.
-
A road game at the loudest Stadium in the league doesn't factor in for you in the HEAD area? I'm with you on the head vs. Heart thing overall. Defense and special teams prowess is nice for sure but the KC offense cannot be stopped in most games for 60 minutes. And their D isn't going to just keep sucking in all likelihood. This is an experienced playoff roster.
-
didn't catch you on the national narrative thing....got it the rest I stand by 100% - Beat KC and nothing else matters. Don't worry though, in this case there's pretty much no way they can win unless he plays really well, so we won't have to worry about this Miami game comparison.
-
your personal terms really set you up for disappointment. QB's often struggle on the road in hostile environments like Arrowhead for at least part of the game. If the Bills win this game PERIOD, and Allen is not injured, its a massive MASSIVE plus for the entire team regardless of anything whatsoever. The whole "if we win and Allen is just ok sadface" thing drips of becoming out of touch and jumping the shark as a fan. You're better than this. Take a breath. Winning AT KC is huge and I dare say somewhat unlikely.
