  1. Basically gonna be a one year minor rebuild where Bills are still good enough to challenge for division then will resume being a SB contender in 2 years. The stark contrast here between Beane and how Russ Brandon would have handled trade is enormous. Beane took high road while Russ would have leaked to every local media personality how Diggs “didn’t want to be here anymore” along with multiple anecdotes on why he was a malcontent.
  2. I’ll gladly admit Edmunds has really upped his game this year and played consistently very good in year 5. That said you can’t ignore that his play was very uneven with few big plays in years 1-4.
  3. Playing only two Linebackers basically all the time where one is undersized and the other is a giant freakazoid that lacks good instincts, has trouble shedding blocks, and over runs the play constantly giving up the cut back.
  4. I thought Edmunds has played better this year, but he was pathetic tonight. Just awful. When he wasn’t getting eaten up by blockers he was looking lost out there. He was like Ray Charles at an *****, blindly guessing which hole to fill.
  5. Trade Edmunds and our 2nd for the Giants 2nd and take Nakobe Dean LB Georgia. You shave 11 million off the cap and get cost control at the position the next 4 years. Not to mention he is probably a better Linebacker than the flawed Edmunds.
  6. Edmunds is an average to below average at times MLB. The Bills thought they could take an athletic freak and turn him into a stud MLB but it just hasn't worked out as Edmunds lacks a lot of the traits of a good MLB. Im sure Beane now regrets the 12 million option they put on him before last year but he probably thought due to Edmunds age, inexperience at the position, and the draft capital spent on him that it was the right move at the time.
  7. Russ Brandon, when not crushing local broadcasting poon, leaked like a sieve.
  8. PFF Grades (For those who put some merit in them) Edmunds 2021: 50.4 2020: 47.9 2019: 60.6 2018: 57.0 Jack 2021: 37.7 2020: 69.1 2019: 45.9 2018: 68.3 2017: 71.7 I honestly don't think either is the answer for the Bills short or long term. Picking up Edmunds option was a mistake as Ive said since they did it.
  9. MLB is a position we need to improve so I wouldn't extend the flawed mediocrity that is Tremaine Edmunds.
  10. Edmunds list of weaknesses coming out of college....Tell me if they sound familiar *Instincts are average and relies on athletic gifts *Can be a step slow to diagnose *Lured by misdirection *Will take random downhill paths that trap him in the quagmire *Patience is lacking *Races ahead of plays and voids his leverage and run fits at times *Needs to add more upper and lower body strength *Average base strength and high center of gravity create issues holding up at the point of attack *Needs to be quicker to punch in order to maintain clearance *Mental busts in man coverage hurt his team
  11. Edmunds' well documented issues and inconsistencies his first 2 years were legitimately blamed on playing a new postion and being 20-21 years old. The sky was still the limit for him if everything clicked. His 3rd season where everything was supposed to come together but didn't was blamed on a shoulder injury. His option was picked up. This year, the 4th year he was healthy but plagued with the same issues again. I think its safe to say that he is who he has shown to be all along and the hope that age and experience would fix his problems is just a pipe dream. Edmunds is a hard worker, a good guy, an athletic freak that can move sideline to sideline and alter throwing lanes with his size. Unfortunately he lacks the instincts, awareness, aggression, tackling, coverage skills, ability to shed blockers, and big play ability that the great mlb's in the NFL posess.
  12. Im blacker than this guy, someone do a 23 and me on Daboll
  13. Edmunds shows flashes, puts a good run of 3 or 4 games together and you think man this guy has finally figured it out, but then he regresses back again. You knew there would be growing pains with him being so young and playing a new position from college, but I think we know what he is most likely gonna be at this point...a great athlete but not a great MLB, maybe not even a good one.
  14. First of all the term hater is ridiculous and anyone that uses it sounds childish and moronic. I don't hate Edmunds, I think he's a good guy personally, thats hard working and a good leader. I just happen to think he's a MLB that is too flawed in certain areas to want to resign him to a long big money deal. His advanced statistics, his pff grades, and his lack of big plays lend credence to my arguments but I forgot I can't have a different opinion on a player than you because that means I think Im smarter at football than Sean McDermott. I guess we will see if he gets that lucrative long term extension that you seem to think is inevitable. I'm not convinced its forthcoming unless we see some improvement next year. Lastly If I think McDermott should have squibbed kicked or kicked it high and short and then not gone into a super loose prevent against KC...does that make me a "hater" who thinks he knows more about football than Sean McDermott?
  15. Lmao...your argument is ridiculous. Nobody thinks they are smarter than Mcdermott or Beane or the coaching staff when it comes to football. I guess I can't have an opinion on any Bills player. By your logic you can't criticize any Bill or want to improve at a position because you are a hater and think you are smarter than the Bills. How dare you think Cody Ford was a bad pick, you think you know more than Beane. You want to bring in a new punter next year, well McDermott thought Haack was just fine, you think you know more than he does. I
