  1. As others have said, Carolina and Denver are two of the best D's in the league. Jets D is more middle-of-the-pack, and we churned out 408 yards of offense. Still, I do think we will struggle on that side of the ball and it has nothing to do with coaching and/or Taylor. The talent at the receiver position is subpar and will limit our explosiveness all year long.
  2. No doubt in my mind that this same collection of defensive players would be 28th or worse if Rex and Rob Ryan were still on the staff.
  3. I was a 5-11 guy, but now I think we win a minimum of 8 games. I've got Jets, Dolphins x2, Los Angeles, Cincinnati and Indy in the win column. And I like our chances against Oakland and Tampa at home.
  4. With this defense, I like our chances.
  5. I felt that way even after last week. Team seems so much more disciplined and tough compared to the Rex era.
  6. Great throw and catch.
  7. I'm torn. Would like to move on in survivor, but I hate the Pats
  8. Gonna kill my survivor pools but I still love it!
  9. Patriots and Dolphins going down. Bills will be in sole possession of first place at end of day.
  10. Gritty work here. Loving it!
  11. Fun game. Hope we can close it out. A win would feel like the start of something special under McDermott.
  12. Pathetic play calling last two series!
  13. Neither. Tyrod had to throw that ball inside to lead Zay away from the sideline and the underneath coverage. Zay seemed to stumble or slow a bit which made it a very difficult catch. Instinct is to always lay blame but sometimes things just don't sync up. It is what it is.
  14. Feel the same way. Good game. Agenda driven posters make these threads basically unreadable.
  15. I thought Tyrod looked fine down the stretch. Questionable PI and Jones drop killed us.
  16. Ahem. I stand by my prediction.
  17. How is he going to massage his groin with a broken forearm?!?!?!
  18. The Saints are terrible. There is no way that they beat the Pats. Patriots, Belichick and Brady are at their best when they have a chip on their shoulder. They will figure it out and rip off wins in 13 of the next 15 games. I'd be willing to bet on it.
  19. Keep in mind that LA/Orange County has quite a few pro and high level college teams to support. Lakers/Clips, Dodgers/Angels, Kings/Ducks, UCLA/USC. So it was folly to assume that two crappy NFL teams playing in crappy stadiums would immediately succeed just because it's the NFL. LA is a Lakers, Dodgers, Kings and USC football town. That's it. Hell, even UCLA basketball has a hard time filling Pauley Pavilion and they're the most decorated college team in history.
  20. That game was the peak of the K-Gun offense. We started that season like an absolute steamroller, but by the end of the season teams began catching up to us ever so slightly.
  21. Doesn't bother me. It was a week 1 home win against what was largely considered one of the worst 2 or 3 teams in the league heading into the season.
