  1. Great play by Campbell. I liked that call
  2. Remember there are 20+ mph winds today. That's a factor on that throw no doubt
  3. Holy cow. They may need to bench Bortles. He looks like a combination of all of our worst qb play during the drought.
  4. I love O'Leary. He's our Metzelaars.
  5. I never understood why there are so many blocks in the back. Once you lose the angle just let them go.
  6. Jags are smart. Going to try to pound it from here on out.
  7. Christ. These McCoy stretch plays ain't gonna cut it.
  8. Cmon Hughes! Maintain your composure. Good series D!
  9. I'm okay with just protecting the ball those first two series while getting out the nerves. But now it's go time.
  10. Seems ridiculous at first glance, but Gruden is a good (not great) coach, and certainly better than that bum Del Rio. They are paying for a proven commodity. It's a very talented roster and the AFC West is up for grabs for the foreseeable future. He should have them in the playoffs starting next season.
  11. This is what sociopathy looks like folks. Also, about as tone deaf as Rod Watson's recent article.
  12. I'm not too worried. Even if he can't go, he should be ready for our next playoff game in 2035.
  13. Honestly, we are like a crappy version of the Pats. Just plod along, minimize mistakes and allow the other team to eventually slip up and give you the game. Our talent, on the whole, is pretty pitiful. McDermott deserves tons of credit for what he was able to get out of this team.
  14. I sort of agree with the original poster's sentiment. It's nice to have the streak ended just because of the embarrassment it's caused over the past decade, but this team, from a talent and potential perspective, is arguably our worst since 2013. Just look at the point and yardage differentials. This isn't a team on a trajectory toward greatness (or even very-goodness). It's an old roster without much in the way of young playmakers. Honestly, the only guy on the team that I can see being a Pro Bowl caliber player three years from now is Tre White. I'm not all that excited or hopeful for the future. Grab a promising first round QB and I'm sure my feelings will change. Compare this with the drought-breaking 1988 squad. It seemed clear, with our young core, that it was the beginning of something special, not just a fluke.
