What % do you think we have a chance of winning?
TheBrownBear replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would absolutely take the Bills with 6 points. I think we win straight up. We're at home, with 10 days to prepare, and are peaking coming off our best three performances of the season. Ravens are due for a letdown and this game is it. -
Would McDermott entertain a Charlotte offer
TheBrownBear replied to Paul Costa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. Especially if McDermott made it known he'd prefer to be back in NC. I know we hate to think about these things, but if Carolina was dead set on acquiring him and Beane and offering to open up the Brinks truck to them and Pegula, who knows? -
I can't help but feel a little bad for Kyle Williams.
TheBrownBear replied to warrior9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thought about this yesterday, but I'm guessing he is pretty content. He did get to play in a playoff game before retiring, and he knew he was leaving the franchise in good hands with McBeane and Allen. Plus, he's a millionaire and a great golfer. ? -
Darnold likes to party after a big win

Josh Allen: Stats Through 11 Games (2018 vs. 2019)
TheBrownBear replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What's odd is that if you listen to the national guys on the radio discuss the Bills and Allen, they still talk about him like he sucks and that he's the weak link holding us back. We'd be nothing without Josh's playmaking abilities with his legs AND arm. I really hope he plays well on Thursday, so he can start getting the respect that he deserves. -
Bills @ Cowboys, Thanksgiving Day - 4:30
TheBrownBear replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Big measuring stick game for both teams. Cowboys boast second-best point differential in NFC. Bills third best in AFC. Who is for real? We'll find out on Thursday. -
Next two weeks tell us all we need to know
TheBrownBear replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree with the OP. Denver is not a good matchup for us. Our weaknesses play into their biggest strengths. I expect a low scoring dogfight. -
Josh Allen - week ELEVEN report card
TheBrownBear replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sorry. It was a joke. I thought he was awesome yesterday. Definitely his best game as a pro. -
Can the Detractors Now Admit Allen's Growth?
TheBrownBear replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last 6 games for Josh Allen: 14 TDs, 1 Int. Also, he's super clutch during crunch time. Dude is a stud. We are lucky to have him. -

B+. Just the Dolphins and no 300 yards. -
Anyone else think Bills will dominate on Sunday?
TheBrownBear replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope. I don't really see any way we dominate this game unless Miami just shoots itself in the foot with turnovers. This is an absolute must win game if we hope to make the playoffs, so we better be ready from the opening kickoff. -
Rational Thoughts after the Browns
TheBrownBear replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My thoughts: - yesterday was a very even game by almost every metric and we win if our kicker makes his kicks - raw but improving young QB (no turnovers and led us back again in the 4th quarter and got us in FG range at the end) - run defense is still a major liability - more Singletary, less Gore, please. - o-line is frustrating with the penalties; need to upgrade again this offseason - been in every game, with far from the most talented roster - 6-3 after 9 games. i'll take that. - lots of histrionics on this board over a close road loss. Browns are more talented than their record indicates, just ask the Ravens. -
What is your perfect scenario for this weekend?
TheBrownBear replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills win 100-0. Brady gets mono from kissing Darnold. -
We passed on Gordon. How 'bout Dez?
TheBrownBear replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly, why not at least bring him in for a workout to see if he has anything left? He should be completely healed at this point and while he's on the older side, at 31, he could potentially have some productive seasons left. James Lofton was a 33 year old receiver that was sitting on his couch when we signed him in 1989. -
Postgame Thread Bills Redskins
TheBrownBear replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
6-2 for first time in forever. I'm happy. Go 4-4 from here and we are guaranteed of playoffs. -
What "type" of fan are you? Coming clean
TheBrownBear replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was born a Bills fan and will die a Bills fan. Earliest memories date back to about 1984-85. Started really getting into it when Kelly and Levy came to town in '86. I don't give a crap about style points. Just win baby. -
i'm glad we're stuck with Josh

Drew Bledsoe debate topic
TheBrownBear replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was one of the top 4-5 QBs in the NFL for a stretch of 4-5 years in the mid-to-late 90s, but he really fizzled out during his second act. He was Matthew Stafford before Matthew Stafford. Not a bust, but not HOF quality. Just a good player with a laser arm and zero mobility. -
15 win teams aren't built overnight
TheBrownBear replied to wagon127's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We are doing more with less than just about any other team in the league. We are probably two years away from being a legit contender (maybe 1 year if Josh shows a ton of growth in the next 12 months), and I'm fine with that. Overall, I like our trajectory and I trust our coach and GM for the first time in forever. Also, the 1988-1992 Bills all had a game or two (or three) where they absolutely got their teeth kicked in. Outside of historically dominant teams, it's pretty normal for good teams to experience a day or two like yesterday.
